Goede bedden, schoon, kleine kamer maar dat was als verwacht. Prima om 's avonds te slapen en overdag naar Disneyland of Parijs te gaan. Terrein is 's avonds vanaf 23:00 uur afgesloten (code van de poort ontvang je bij aankomst). Inchecken is bij nabijgelegen Kyriad-hotel, en kan tot 23:00 uur.

Heerlijk gastvrij hotel in 6e ar. Leuke buurt, kunst antiek en gezellige terrasjes. Medewerkers zeer servicegericht. Prettig publiek. Stijlvol en romantisch ingericht.

Modern, fris, vriendelijk, netjes. Kamer groot genoeg. Deal gesloten voor 3x ontbijt; buffet was erg goed.Ook op de 6e geen nooduitgang anders dan de hoteltrap. Een van de 6 kamers per verdieping 'kijkt' op 'binnenkoker' van 10 m2. Te warm (airco wilde ze nog niet aanzetten wegens lage buitentemp). Buurt prima incl. eetgelegenheden. Koffie/thee en wifi! Zowel Noord/Zuid als Oost/West metrolijnen.
Ligging.
Novotel Chateau De Versailles ligt in het hart van Le Chesnay. dit hotel is een gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in de buurt van Kasteel van Versailles en Parly 2 Shopping Mall. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Malmaison Castle en Chateau de St-Germain-en-Laye.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel met een groen/duurzaam beleid heeft een restaurant. In openbare ruimtes is een draadloze snelle internetverbinding gratis beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een computer met internetverbinding beschikt. De accommodatie beschikt over een een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, hulp bij excursies/tickets en een wasserij. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt.

Novotel Chateau De Versailles heeft 105 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een lcd-televisie met kanalen via satelliet. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en verduisterende gordijnen. Dit geweldige kasteel, een wonder in zijn tijd, waarvan de bouw werd begonnen in 1668, begon als jachtslot, en werd in 20 jaar tijd omgebouwd tot Europa's grootste paleis. Veel van de kamers werden tijdens de Franse Revolutie compleet leeggeroofd en zijn nog steeds kaal, maar de grandeur en de geweldige formele tuinen van Versailles zijn ongeëvenaard. Op slechts 20 km ten westen van het centrum van Parijs; RER lijn C5 gaat naar Versailles–Rive Gauche, 700 meter van de ingang.

"Op steenworp afstand van Chateau Versailles"
Een goede uitvalsbasis richting Parijs met goede navigatieapparatuur. De bereikbaarheid richting de hoofdstad is via de A13 goed. De voorzieningen in het hotel zijn over het algemeen goed. Problemen zijn de klimaatbeheersing en de ontbijtservice. Een aantal kamers zijn veel te warm ingesteld, anderen te koud. Het personeel is meedenkend in het vinden […] van oplossingen (bv plaatsen ventilator, overboeken naar andere kamer). Verder hapert de service m.b.t. het ontbijt tegen 09.00: de buffettafel is met enige regelmaat leeg. Vervolgens wordt alles in het werk gesteld om iedereen te voorzien van een volledige ochtend maaltijd. En dat ritueel herhaalt zich elke ochtend. De klantgerichtheid van het personeel is daarmee uitermate goed. Binnen en rond het hotel is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De kwaliteit van het diner is goed. Family of four, we liked this hotel. Some of the features were very basic but the staff were friendly. The restaurant was nice. The bar was nice. We would recommend it.

"Hotel suitable to drivers 13miles from centraParis"
This hotel is reasonably close if you are taking a family holiday in a car. It has parking at 11E per night and it is 13miles from central Paris or 40 miles from Disney land. If you have a good sat nav, it's ok. Otherways if you travel by traing and metro, do not go there. Rooms could be better condition but reasonable and good tv with loads if channels. "Novatel Nightmare"
We had booked a Superior with one double and two singles and got two double beds. Negatives: Hairdryer caught fire while we were using it. Hotel did not send anybody to check it out. Next night electricity in our room was out, and apparently had been for the day while we were out since the items we had placed in the mini bar were all warm and room […] was ice cold. Window leaked, floor wet in morning and constant traffic noise all night. Not that we rested that much, because I was afraid the hotel was going to catch fire and burn us alive. Positive: Good location in Versailles and fairly close to the train station Rive Droite, so travel was easy. If I had to book again I would stay away from this hotel. Lees meer

Nice clean hotel, minutes from the sights of Versailles for a very reasonable rate on Christmas Day... Clean and well presented with free wifi and underground parking, just what was required. Will stay again.

A nice hotel, about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Chateau. The staff were friendly and helpfull, we had asked for a late check-out due to taking part in the Paris to Versallies road race and wanted to come back for a shower, which they did with no extra cost so 10/10. Comfortable and clean room and plenty of space. The only blip was at the restaurant […] the meal was poor, after complianing they had offered us another meal, or not charging us for it. "Novotel, Le Chesney, Versailles"
Very comfortable family friendly hotel with excellent restaurant and in-room menu choices for adults and children. Staff very helpful and attentive to children especially. Secure parking overnight a little pricey. Very good package via hotels.com. And on top of that 20 mins walk to Chateau.
"Lost in Versaille !"
We booked this hotel as an overnight on our way to the ferry from Cannes due to massive traffic jams we were running late. Called the hotel to say we would be late - whoever answered phone had no idea what I was saying and put phone down on me! We arrived in the area at 12.30 with the full adress in sat nav! We went round in circles for half hour! Girl […] on reception answered the phone in the middle of checking us in and wr just had to stand there while she dealt with call. Room ok basic but bed and put you bed comfy! Called to order food and ask for extra pillows person had no idea what I was saying and said he would come to the room! Bought pillows but reluctant to leave them - no pillowcases - explained we wanted soup and bread from menu available all the time! Not possible - on his own on whole hotel - could not do food! Ended up raiding car for left overs ! Need better and more staff and training on customer care! We needed upgrade on SatNav! Lees meer

"Nice hotel - very helpful staff"
The hotel was an easy walk to Versailles and to restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful when we inquired about where to eat and the best train to take back to Paris.

...if you travel by car. We stayed one night following visit to Chateau. Wouldn't use it as a base for Paris visit. There is nothing else going on near the hotel so you have to eat there really. Restaurant OK but not cheap. Restaurant staff very good.

"Novotel Versailles - lower your expectations"
Lower your expectations and lower them again. The only rewarding aspect of this hotel is that it is within a 15-20 minute walk of the Chateau. The customer service was a huge disappointment. We requested pillows and had to call a second time for them. It took about 3 hours before they delivered them - they were befuddled as to why we couldn't suffice […] with 1 pillow per person. Also there was 3 of us and they only supplied 2 towels. Had to call for those as well. They appeared after an hour of waiting. We went to the hotel bar to have a drink and the bartender disappeared. Had to ask 3 times for service at the reception desk. We couldn't place an order for a charcuterie and went out to bring something in. Ate it there and then was told that wasn't allowed after they didn't offer us any service! If you're looking for a Motel 6 experience for big bucks, book here. If I had it to do over again, I would splurge and book at the Waldorf Astoria. Go ahead, lower your expectations one more time. Lees meer
"Novotel understands customer care"
Everything about the hotel was great. When we checked out, the front desk called a taxi for us. The local custom in Versailles apparently is that the taxi meter starts the minute you say "bon jour" to the driver. Since our taxi was stuck behind a hotel vendor in a one lane driveway, we accrued close to 10 euro before moving an inch. My travel mate who […] spoke beautiful French complained to the desk. We left for the train, and the cabbie didn't charge us for our bags because of the wait. By the time I fired up the Internet at our next stop later that day, I had an email from hotels.com that the Novotel manager had been in touch and wanted to refund me the 10 euro, would I please call him. I did and it was arranged. I promised him that I'd recommend Novotel to one and all ... and I do. Lees meer

Excellent in every way. Staff very accomodating and helpful. Have recently stayed at other Novotels around Europe and have found the pattern of service and excellent accomodations to be a reason to stay at others as we travel Europe.
"Just as we expected"
Our only complaint (which was quickly remedied) was that part of the baby bed we asked for was broken. Within 10 minutes of the call to the reception, a new bed was brought to the room. The staff is very, very good. I speak some french, so attempted it with them, but when it was obvious I was struggling, they just spoke in English. The food in the […] resteraunt is OK. It's good for when you don't feel like going out, but there are better places in Versailles and Paris to eat. We had two children with us and they were very quick to serve the meals so that the children would not become too impatient. Also, the small play area they have in the (very large) lobby is great. They also have graphic novels (bande dessine) to read. There are giant squishy chairs in the lobby that are so inviting to sit in! For the size of the room, I found it a little expensive, but when you factor in the proximity to both the Chateau de Versailles and the train station (Rive Droite), it was acceptable. I would recommend this hotel, and we are making reservations for the end of the year. Lees meer

As a foreigner traveling in France, this was my third day with a car and GPS, but this hotel was really difficult to find. I ended up parking my car and walking around to find it. Then, the parking garage was a "blast." I decided that once I got the car in the garage, I wasn't leaving. Luckily, I had visited Versaille prior to checking in. This hotel was great. The personnel was extremely helpful not only in hotel matters but also in a business matter I had with the car rental. The manager personally spent about 30 minutes of her buy time to help me resolve the issue with Avis and it went great. The accomodations were much better than I expected. Cet hôtel ne vaut pas ses 4 étoiles. L'accueil est charmant mais la chambre supérieure pour 4 était franchement petite, comme d'ailleurs la taille des serviettes de bain. Nous fréquentons souvent les novotels et avons de plus en plus l'impression qu'ils économisent sur tout.

Dans l'ensemble sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Toutefois nous regrettons le prix excessif du petit déjeuner. POur 15 euros par personne je pense que le minimum serait d'avoir droit à des oeufs frais et non à une omelette en poudre!!! le personnel devrait être plus à l'écoute. On ne se sent pas vraiment à l'aise pour un petit déjeuner tranquille!!! […] Seul bémol de cet hôtel 4 étoiles!!! Réception personnel parfait, qualité de la chambre et de la literie : parfaite. Très bien situé près du château. Prestation de qualité et personnel très accueillant. Nous avions un enfant de plus que prévu et ils se sont mis en quatre pour nous trouver une solution immédiatement. Petit déjeuner super, gratuit pour les enfants. Das Hotel ist günstig mit PKW erreichbar, verfügt über eine Tiefgarage, aus dieser Lobby/ Zimmer allerdings nur über beschwerliche Treppe erreichbar. Zimmer ordentlich und sauber, Personal hilfsbereit bei Planung von Ausflügen. Kinderfreundliche (Auf)preise, üppiges, für Frankreich untypisch gutes Frühstück, war für Kinder kostenfrei.
