Club Quarters, Trafalgar Square in Londen

Dit hotel vlak naast trafalgar square is een prima stek voor een weekendje (of langer) Londen. Vriendelijke en servicegerichte bediening en nette kamers die vooral erg schoon zijn. Verder niet al te compleet, geen minibar in alle kamers en de tv is niet tegenover het bed geplaatst. Wel gratis WIFI. De (bediening van) de ventilatie en airco is onbegrijpelijk […] en niet in alle kamers kunnen de ramen ver open. Ontbijt niet geprobeerd, maar de bar/restaurant op de benedenverdieping is aangenaam. Hotel is prima. Geen superdeluxe hotel en staat er al een tijdje..... Inrichting is niet slecht, maar niet state of the art. Goede bereikbaarheid en dichtbij het centrum aan Trafelgar Square. Prima verbleven en over de bedden mag je niet klagen.

Dit hotel ligt op een perfecte locatie, een paar stappen verwijderd van Trafalgar square en het Embankment ligt een paar meter de andere kant op. Ook Buckingham Palace ligt op maar 10 minuten lopen. ALs je van shoppen houdt dan ben je ook zo op Regent en Oxford street. Wil je iets verder dan pak je de metro want ook de stations liggen natuurlijk vl […] akbij. Lees meer

The hotel is located on a perfect location. It was not good that the staff hide behenind the fact that the restaurant is operated by a third partyy when I complained about the bill. They charged us with the price for a full english although we only had two fried eggs . It was prepared in the kitchen as there was no buffet. They could not do anything […] about this. I don't consider this to be acctable behiauvour but there is not a lot you can do about it. So suggest that if you stay there you ensure yourself about what you get and what thy will charge you. Perfect location to visit London, but you see it in the price.

Although we were a little squeezed in the room (3 adults) the hotel had all what we wanted: location, cleanliness, and quality service. We will stay there again and recommend it.

The minute we entered the hotel we felt comfortable the food and room were excellent one of the best hotels we have stayed in.The foyer and bar area is magnificent and a credit to the owners for keeping the original marble etc.Highly recommend.

Stayed here prior to running the London marathon, so bit distracted, but basically a really pleasant hotel in a fantastic location next to Trafalgar Square. Only moan was breakfast on Sunday morning which doesn't start till 8 and was not good value for money. But would stay here again if I need somewhere central.

Hotel room is very nice and clean. Hotel location is excellent. 3 minute walk to Charing Cross Tube station, 10 minutes to Covent Garden. Everything is very good, except that the room is extremely small. It is OK for one person. But I wouldn't recommend it for 2 people.

Very much a business hotel, with rather impersonal service however offset that against the excellent location and competitive pricing and this was a superb choice.

Great location, walking distance for restaurants, tube, Oxford street etc.. Service is ok, cleaning is good, rooms are nice

The hotel was ideally located in the centre of London and easy access to all forms of transport. Reasonably priced considering it was London... Have already recommended it to others.

Very good location but I would not claasify it as a 4 star hotel.

We had a pleasant stay and although the room was a bit larger than London standards we thought it needed updating as wear and tear is showing. Breakfast was good and staff was corteous and efficient. It was our honeymoon last two days and we added that on remarks, but didn't get any special treatment.

Great hotel let down only by the fact that the A/C is useless and even with the window open in March the room was unbearably hot!

lovely hotel and really helpful staff. rooms were clean and very tidy. well worth staying and i would definitely stay again. right on Trafalgar square and close to charring cross and embankment stations. only downside was paying £14 fir 2 drinks with a £1.50 service charge. i know its London prices but we had just paid £10 for 2very large cocktails […] in Covent garden. overall i would highly recommend. It took us literally 3 hours to find this hotel and parking 3 blocks away. Nice room but way too much money for what you get.

Had a good stay but did feel it was over priced for the style of hotel and room. Staff were not exactly falling over them selves to help you. I would say the hotel was no better than a premier inn but at least twice the price.

This hotel was in amazing location, just steps away from Trafalgar Square, and walking distance to all major tourist points of interest. With the affordable price of the hotel, quality of the rooms, and the politeness of the hotel staff I would stay here again in an instant!

Very pleased with Hotel and location. We will definitely book back again on our next visit to London as very central to everything we wanted to do and see. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. The only downside was we could hear the TV and conversations of the guests in the next room which is why we rated the comfort of the room a 3.

FANTASTIC LOCATION JUST OFF TRAFALGAR SQ SO WALKING DISTANCE TO THEATRE DISTRICT AND EVEN CLOSE ENOUGH TO WALK TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE TO WATCH CHANGING OF THE GUARD AFTER BREAKFAST. BAR WITH FAB ATMOSPHERE - AND VERY FRIENDLY /HELPFUL STAFF. OUR ROOM WAS SLIGHTLY SMALL AND A BIT CHILLY BUT IT WAS THAT REALLY COLD WEEKEND WHEN LONDON GOT LOADS OF SNOW […] - BATHROOM WELL APPOINTED AND PLENTY BIG ENOUGH THOUGH. Hotel was excellent, staff very attentive Bar was a bit naff, and staff seem more interested in chatting, so much so they forgot add my order to my bill. Oh well!!

a nice hotel but we did not get what we booked and paid for so for us it spoilt things. We paid for a superior room with a kitchenette and got an ordinary room with only a fold down bed instead of a proper bed as we were told on booking. Yes we were given complimentory breakfast but this was only continental. Great hotel, 3 mins from main train and tube station, right outside Trafalgar Sq but still quiet. lovely staff great place to stay, will certainly book again if I need to go to London.

I looked many hotels in the surroundings of Trafalgar Square. Undoubtedly, situation is perfect, but I expected more of the price i paid for the room. Narrow, no mini bar (room service only until 10pm), no lock, no special commodities (like slippers...), small bathroom (shower, not bath)... I expected more.

Although the hotel itself was very nice, there were a few things that put myself and my partner off. Firstly, having got all dressed up and looking forward to a nice evening we headed to the hotel bar and were ignored for quite a long time. We then had our order taken by one person who didn't make our drinks and just went off collecting glasses. Then […] after being left to wait for even more time another lady took our order but once again didn't actually make our drinks, she just fiddled around with the till looking very confused if truth be told. In the end we told them not to bother because we were kept waiting for so long. We were also very disappointed that at 12am you couldn't order room service and found the staff more then a little rude when we were informed this. There was then the heater/air con in our room which made a hell of a lot of noise all night which could not be turned off and kept us awake for a long period of the night. Finally, in the morning, we were rudely awaken by hotel cleaners who knocked as they barged into our room. This was not appreciated as there were a number of hours until checkout time, and thus it was completely unnecessary to be disturbing us. There was also no apology for disturbing us and they then went on to clean the room next door which consisted of a lots of banging and crashing. Enevitably, we got no sleep after that point. The hotel although more expensive than other hotels we have stayed at had the advantage of being a few minutes walk from the Playhouse Theatre where we had tickets to see a show. The hotel has a marble floored and walled lounge and bar and very pleasant and efficient staff. The corridors and room were decorated to a high standard. However our room looked […] out onto a brick wall. The queen size bed seemed very tiny and we had a fitful nights sleep. The duvet slipped off constantly and we never found out the cause of the buzzing sound outside. We reported on departure the shaver point not working. Not the most lux hotel room, but offers real value for money

I did not know it when I booked it for New Years 2012, but it was just down the block from all the fireworks and the music for the night. The hotel location in the middle of two Tube stations and many tourist interests is ideal. I have stayed there twice and would do so again if visiting London was available to me again.

The location is right near Trafalgar Square and the theater district so that part is great. The rooms are bleak, but clean. Because they said they were corporate they couldn't help get theater tickets or any other service that you normally can get at a better hotel. That becomes a pain when you're traveling with kids and you have to run around or go […] online for any entertainment help. Lees meer

I would recommend this hotel to anybody because of excellent location, friendly service, good price/quality ratio. In price included wireless internet. Kitchen in room was very useful, since we stayed with children. All the appliances functioned perfectly. Check in/out was easy with no problems. Finding hotel - very easy. Brilliant spot in the center of London. It costs a bit more but you also get a bit more. Very clean and well maintained rooms. A bathroom that's spacious (not like other london bathrooms I've been in. It's a bit more expensive Ill give you that and I wouldn't have booked it if I wasn't traveling with my husband and son. Not a good experience! Booked a suite & was given a 'double' room that had been converted to a suite, it was small overlooking walls of another hotel, blankets on spare bed looked so old and dirty I couldnt have let my children sleep there. The room also had an awful smell. I was so disappointed as I had booked this hotel for a weekend for my husbands […] 40th birthday. I complained and asked for the suite I had booked but the Hotel was full so they couldn't move us! I have to add at this point the attitude of the staff was very good & very apologetic. We were given complimentary breakfast vouchers for the weekend, a promise of some sort of compensation and a promise to be moved the following morning. But my husband refused to stay in that room due to the smell & the overall dissatisfaction & told the guest manager we would be leaving the hotel immediately if they couldn't move us that evening. With that, the guest manager found another room for us to move to (still small & not a suite, but it was much better than the one we had). The guest manager also gave us a voucher for a free weekend night stay in any Club Quarters across the world, in addition complimentary wine & refreshments. We were then moved to the correct suite on the Saturday morning. I can honestly say that the staff did their utmost to sort out and compensate us for the problems and I have no complaint about their customer service but I would have rather have had the correct suite in the first place as the situation did ruin our first night there as we were late for our theatre show and it wasn't the 40th Birthday I wanted for my husband. Superb location billed as "London's most Central Venue.' Nearest tube is Charing Cross. Savoy Theatre and hotel just 2 minute stroll along the Strand. Trafalgar Square 20 seconds away. Downing Street and then Westminster just 2-3 mins along Whitehall. Picadilly Circus just a 5 min stroll from Trafalgar Sq. and from there on to the shops of Regent, Bond […] and Carnaby Streets. Hotel clean, warm, contemporary styling. Great free-wi-fi. More of an exec crash pad than a hotel but perfect for the business traveller or short-stay/self-serving tourist. Lees meer

We have stayed here before. The hotel has an excellent location. The public rooms are very smart and the guest rooms very satisfactory. Our room was very cold and the heating did not work.. The reception arranged a fan heater for us, which was fine for the one night. The breakfast is a little expensive and relatively limited in scope compared with other […] comparable hotels.
