Prima hotel in een gezellige buurt. Om de hoek zit de Pub "The Celt" welke zeker een bezoek waard is. Service in het hotel is top. We hadden inclusief ontbijt geboekt, maar de laatste dag moesten we om half 6 's ochtends richting de luchthaven. Nadat we dit hadden aangegeven stond er om half 6 een ontbijt pakketje voor ons klaar! TOP!

hotel is design hotel; heeft hier en daar wat onderhoud nodig, maar het geheel is heel netjes. Buitengewoon vriendelijke en behulpzame staf. Een heel net ontbijtbuffet, met een uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Het enige min-punt is dat de hotelbar onderdeel is van het uitgaansleven, en dat kan lawaai tot in de kleine uurtjes opleveren.

Dit hotel ligt net buiten het drukke Temple Bar district. Zo ligt het in een rustig deel van Dublin, maar op 5 minuutjes lopen van het bruisende centrum. Het was even schrikken toen we zagen dat het hotel zich naast een brandweer kazerne bevond, maar daar hebben we geen moment last van gehad. Enig kleine nadeel: de verwarming op de kamer wordt centraal aangestuurd en springt op vaste tijden aan en uit. Zo was onze kamer op sommige momenten veel te warm, wat niet ideaal was.

Ligging.
Four Seasons Hotel Dublin ligt in de buurt van het strand in het hartje van Dublin, dicht bij Royal Dublin Society, Herbert Park en Lansdowne Road Stadium. In de buurt liggen ook The O2 en Nationale galerie van Ierland op Merrion Square.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Four Seasons Hotel Dublin heeft een healthclub, een binnenzwembad en een spabad. Tegen betaling kan in alle openbare ruimtes een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 5-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een 24-uurs businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en vergaderruimtes. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 3 restaurants plus een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spa, een fitnesscentrum en een turks stoombad. Parkeren op locatie is mogelijk tegen betaling. De accommodatie kan gasten na het uitchecken verlengde parkeerrechten geven (tegen toeslag). Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
Four Seasons Hotel Dublin heeft 197 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een cd-speler en een (laptop)kluis. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met designer beddengoed, lakens van Egyptisch katoen en een donsdeken. Tegen betaling kan een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. Elke televisie heeft premium kabelzenders, een dvd-speler en een videogameconsole. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, een kluis en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een aparte badkuip en douche, badjassen, make-up / scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Elke kamer heeft een koelkast en een minibar. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en openslaande ramen. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een magnetron, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden en een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een creditcard voor te leggen.

Leafy Ballsbridge is een rustige en exclusieve woonwijk op 20-30 lopen vanaf de stad (er is ook een regelmatige busdienst). Het Grand Canal stroomt er doorheen en hoewel een groot deel van dit kanaal niet echt mooi is, is er bij de brug in Richmond Street een aantrekkelijk gedeelte met pubs aan de waterkant. De geboorteplaats van George Bernard Shaw is een populaire attractie in de buurt.

"Not in the center of the city but not a bad walk"
Although the hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the city center, it's a beautiful walk and is located in a very upscale neighborhood with plenty of close restaurants. The staff was amazing -- even coming out to our car to help us with our GPS. The spa area was very nice with an indoor pool and jacuzzi that faces a beautiful courtyard. We recently stayed at the hotel as a treat as we had missed out on Holidays earlier in the year. I was attending Vincents Private hospital the following morning so it suited very well to stay here. And plus we got a great deal on Hotels . com. The downside to the hotel was everything was extra. There were no tea making facilities in the room... my partner […] felt it was as people who stay there don't make their own tea... well i was not paying over 10.00 for tea to be brought to my room so i did without.... We had afternoon tea when we arrived and it was lovely.... we did not dine in the hotel as we had reservations made elsewhere.. Breakfast was quite a shocker... my partner had eggs benedict and i decided to only have a small bowl of museli from the buffet, this cost me €22.00!!!!!! I was shocked... how many packs of museli can you buy for that... my partner pointed out that it was because i could have had anything from the buffet, I wish i did now!!! Apart from that the hotel was lovely and i was so relaxed, the rooms were very large and with a marble bathroom with shower and seperate bath. All round excellent hotel but charging 12 euro per day for wifi (standard) and 24 euro for premium. Bewleys next door which is a four star hotel doesn't charge.

Perfect in every way. The hotel management/staff were kind and welcoming. We would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting the best. Our daughter visited the work-out facilities as our guest at the hotel and came back commenting how relaxing the atmosphere was. Stayed here with my family and had a great experience. It is what I would expect from this chain and I was not disappointed in any way. Also, this hotel is kid friendly, providing keys, treats, robes, activities and pretty much anything else a kid would need. It is in a good location about 2 miles from downtown. Beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly,especially Hans at the hotel entrance.Only small downside was that there was no tea / coffee facilities in our suite, which you might expect of a 5* hotel. Will be back for sure.

stayed in the four seasons with my 7 yr old daughter staff couldn't have been nicer food and drink a must have at the hotel, added bonus we got to meet the cast of glee who were stayin at the hotel which was an added bonus to my daughter
Lovely hotel - all the 5* luxuries you would expect, but a long walk from the city centre and the cost of the extras (food spa treatments etc) is very high.

My husband stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin and we were extremely happy with our stay. A little distance away from the city centre, but beautifully located. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had requested early check in and when my room wasn't ready upon arrival, they ensured I was comfortable and even provided complimentary […] coffee in the lounge area. "Embassy Row & DART nearby"
It´s always a bit snooty when staying at any Four Seasons hotel, but more because of the clientele than the staff. The maid service is excellent as are the doormen. I´m just surprised that for the price you pay, it doesn´t include free in-room WiFi (there is a business center with 3 workstations, but it was often noisy with kids playing compupter games […] while their parents worked) or in-room coffee & tea facilities. & of course the mini-bar items are way overpriced! Near the embassies so there are always police patrolling the street in front, & right down the street from the DART station, especially good for getting out of town! Lees meer
Very luxurious hotel. Everything you need is already supplied. Very helpful staff, excellent facilities. 20 min walk to the centre. Only downside is very expensive restaurant in the hotel, so if you dont fancy heading out for something to eat, it will cost you. Would definately recommend and stay again.

Great location - very nice neighborhood and walking distance to some cute restaurants and bars. Beautiful hotel and the rooms were fantastic. My only criticism was that the service was rather slow in the dining room during breakfast (and there wasn't a crowd).

Hotellet, servicen og atmosfæren var glimrende. Frokostbufféten trekker noe ned, kun gryn og syltetøy. Man måtte bestille utenom dersom man ønsket standard egg, bacon, pølse osv. For langt unna sentrum til å gå, men det sto alltid ventende taxier utenfor.
