En als je die niet per metro kunt bereiken, dan struikel je over de taxi's die bijna niets kosten. Er was wel wat geluidsoverlast van overvliegende vliegtuigen in het hotel, maar wat wil je als je per taxi binnen een kwartier voor 10 euro op het […] vliegveld bent? Keurig hotel, loopafstand van de metro en Gulbenkian museum. Niet zoveel keuze van restaurants in de buurt. TV ontvangst was matig.Enige nadeel van het hotel waren de bussen, bij ontbijt altijd druk druk druk en ellebogen, bij aankomst/vertrek van een bus was de balie vol. Mensen achter de balie waren aardig en behulpzaam ( als ze niet druk waren) Ontbijt […] was goed met voldoende keuze, personeel deed goed werk. Hotel was goed, zelfs elke dag alle handdoeken verschoond. Niet zo goed voor milieu, was nl. echt niet nodig.Wat ons opviel en stoorde was het feit dat de bediening in restaurant bij het ontbijt overdreven bezig was met het telkens opnieuw aanvullen van de suikerzakjes in de bakjes. Dit leek wel manisch. Als je 1 suikerzakje uit het bakje haalde werd […] het direct omgewisseld met weer een vol bakje. Personeel leek alleen gefocust te zijn op de materialen en aanvoer van eten. Je werd nauwelijks aangekeken, laat staan begroet. Jammer. Verder viel de ligging toch wel tegen, het uitzicht was erg troosteloos. Kamer was vrij klein voor een 4 sterren hotel. De indeling zou ook anders kunnen, bijvoorbeeld de kast aan de wand van de kamer waar ook de deur zit. Nu was het lastig om spullen uit de kast te pakken. Hotel is mooi, modern, heerlijke bedden, prima kamer en douche. Vlakbij metrohalte gelegen waardoor je snel in de stad bent, maar lopend is ook goed te doen.Bus van de airport stopt ook dichtbij. Hotel Olissippo Marques de Sa is mij uitstekend bevallen. De kamer is groot genoeg en zeer schoon. Het hotel is centraal gelegen vlakbij metrostation. Het ontbijtbuffet is tamelijk uitgebreid en zeer smakelijk. De service is prima. Jammer dat je moet betalen voor gebruik van wifi.

Heerlijk ontbijt ,uitgebreid genoeg, bediening zeer alert en vriendelijk ,bereidwillig, kamers voor elk wat wils . Prijsaanbieding zeer goed . Ontvangst heel goed. Informatie goed. Uitstraling prachtig, heel goed , materiaalgebruik geweldig goed binnenacrchitectuur. Dichtbij de Metro , taxi per direct, lopen tot centrum langs een modern winkelcentrum […] en een prachtig prachtig park en langszij grote merken winkels is een must en duurt zolang als je zelf wilt / snel lopen niet gestopt in 15 -20 min. Hotel ligt op ongeveer 400 meter van de halte van de Aerobus. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer is redelijk klein maar netjes en voorzien van airco wat geen overbodige luxe is. De vliegtuigen komen regelmatig voorbij op korte afstand maar door de dubbele beglazing hoor je daar niets van. We zijn heel tevreden over het hotel, het ontbijt en de ligging van het hotel. Het enige minpunt is vliegtuiglawaai. Het hotel ligt prettig dichtbij metrostation Sa Sebastio, prima verbinding. Het park, vlakbij, vonden we ook heel mooi. Het Gul bekianmuseum is echt wel een aanrader.

The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English which is very helpful since Portuguese is for me very difficult language. The breakfast was a buffet. I spent 2 weeks at the hotel and would highly recommend it. I liked the close metro for getting around the city. You can take the metro from the airport and get to within 2 blocks of the hotel. Get off at the Sao Sebastiao stop. Look at the metro map. You can figure it out. I got the Viva card for 0.50 Euros and put 15.00 Euros on the card for zapping use at the airport. Really liked this hotel. Room very comfortable. Very close to metro (blue and red line so convenient for airport). The selection of food/drinks available at breakfast was great. Great to have wi-fi in room.

Comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. Cooked breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice of food. Access to the airport and central Lisbon is easy from the local metro station (S Sebastiao red line for airport and blue line for centre). Helpful service at reception to find various locations and the hotel staff provided a city map.

The hotel was in a good location, a little way away from a metro station (São Sebastião) which is on a couple of lines, and near to the Gulbenkian Institute and El Corte Inglés department store. In general the service was very good (though the cleaners a little over-eager, given all the things I left out were very neatly ordered by size when I got back […] in the afternoon!) I was a little disappointed by the cost of internet access though, particularly as the hotel's English-language website states that it's available for free. As two college kids looking for a romantic getaway, this hotel was perfect. Hotels.com saved us way more than the current nightly rate. The hotel was conveniently located to the metro stop. A modern hotel in a good location, not downtown Lisbon but near a metro station. The problems we had were that the bed was so hard that we couldn't sleep in it and there were no foamies to add to soften the sleep, you could hear people clearly talking in the rooms next door, and (most frustrating of all), the free wireless internet in the room was unpredictable. […] It would work for awhile, then knock you out in the middle of a long email (which was lost), or let you in with the password one time but not the next two times, or not let you in at all. Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Location was ideal. 2-3 minute walk from St. Sebastiano station and a direct train to the airport + downtown. We are vegetarians and found the breakfast sufficient. The most painful part of our stay was the air-conditioning. It was horrible and the hotel staff tried to fix it by changing the thermostat from 12 to 8 Deg […] C, at which point I realized neither the thermostat worked nor he knew what he was doing. I based my choice of hotel on existing reviews of the hotel, location and price. The reviews seemed reasonable, apparently not overpriced and although not in the heart of Lisbon, it seemed to be fairly easy to get around (on Google maps). Breakfast wasn't included in the price, but offered as a bolt-on for an extra 6 Euros per day; seemed reasonable […] enough and not loosing out on too much if it was terrible (at least you could have a tea/coffee, juice and some toast). The breakfast was surprisingly adequate with a wide selection of hot and cold food on offer. The room was nothing spectacular, but very very clean and well kept, which is the main thing; I'm on short break in a beautiful city, the room is for sleeping in, end-of. Beware the fridge! It's tiny and there's no room for anything other than the drinks the hotel have supplied. The location is spot on, 12 euros in a cab from the Airport (or 1.25 to Sao Sebastio Metro station had we known!). 15 minute cab ride, we opted for metro on the way home and that took about 20 minutes. Sao Sebastio station is literally around the corner from the hotel. 4 stops on 'Linha Azul' to Restauradores and you're right in the heart of Lisbon, so very accessible to the sights, but far away enough for a peaceful night's sleep. Lots of restaurants near the hotel or just hop on the Metro downtown. The staff weren't overly cheerful, but they were polite, helpful and spoke good English (as do a lot of the locals to be fair). Staff was helpful in English as I speak no Portuguese. Breakfast was good, wide variety which seemed to satisfy the many different nationalities in the hotel. Room AC was great and it cooled quickly. Rooms on back side of hotel are definitely quieter.

The hotel was sparkling clean both in the public places and in the guest room. The only negative to report is the handling of phone calls to the U.S. You were not able to use the phone in your room to place an overseas call with a calling card. The hotel desk staff instructed me to use the pay phone in the lobby. When I asked why I could not use the […] phone in my room, he said it would cost 100 times the cost of the pay phone. I found this aspect to be troublesome and less than customer friendly. The internet was available in the lobby, but again, you had to insert coins directly into the box attached. If you wanted to use a personal computer in your room, you were again charged by the hour. The hotel is very well priced and the location is in a quiet neighbourhood. It is close to the Metro, although if you want a city centre location don't choose this hotel. I would query it being 4star , but the breakfast was very good.
