Very enjoyable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was comfortable and convenient for the surrounding area of Olympia City.

Very nice room comfortable bed, except housekeeper forgot our little soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. I had to call office to have some sent up then they still forgot the cups! Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast for two, was 2 juices and 2 bowls of fruit. Too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 'clean' glass provided in the room upon check-in had toothpaste residue from the previous guest and gook at the bottom. I never before checked this, assuming that the glasses were washed. I will check the glasses in the future! Other than that, the hotel was acceptable.

Obviously this Red Lion has been around for quite awhile and undergone some renovations, but it has everything that is expected of a quality, modern hotel. We attended a function in the ball room downstairs and stayed the weekend. Good location, on a small lake, great staff, good food in the restaurant. We had a great time.

Hotel was average and comparible to other 3 star properties. Nice grounds and view of the lake from rooms at the back of the hotel. Evening desk attendant at check in was extremely friendly and helpful.

I needed an moderately priced hotel close to downtown for a weekend event I was attending. This facility was perfect. Very quiet and secluded.

Here for a week stay. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever about the cleanliness & comfort of the hotel. Everyone was professional and courteous. The Restaurant service was relaxing and atmosphere of the servers are very welcoming. I will most definately recommend this hotel.

Not at the standards of most Red Lions I have stayed at. Food ok, smelled super musty in our room, not able to regulate the heating cooling system. Needs some upkeep for sure.

The name Red Lion means to me affordable quality. I did not find that here. The hotel looks nice enough but in my room I found some issues. First off I snoop into everything so I was suprised to find that the ice bucket was full of water. I reported that to the front desk as I was leaving to meet with my mother and was assured it would be taken care […] of. When I returned the young lady from housekeeping personaly appoligized to me, which was nice. I was then looking at the 2 water bottles on the desk and as I was reading that they cost 2.00 each (something that should be included don't you think?) I noticed that one of them was missing the plastic seal and was in fact open! I took this to the front desk and was advised that I would not be charged. I then went in for dinner and sat in the lounge area. I had the lobster and crab melt which was very good but I did notice that though the chairs were rather comfortable they really needed to be recovered. They just looked shabby. Back in my room I steped out onto the patio to walk the grounds as I was on the ground floor, I noticed a paper cup on the air conditioner full of water and ciggerett butts. Now I do smoke and respect non smoking rules but the staff should really look at ALL areas of a room before calling it clean. Removing the grimey handprints from the glass would be nice too. All in all I would think twice about staying again and really had higher expectations from a Redn Lion Inn. Lees meer

Older, but generally well kept. Heat/air conditioner unit in room, extremely loud and strong forced air, lack of accurate thermostat control, i.e. did not shut off. Wireless internet compimentary and worked well. TV dated, but okay for casual use. In quite business/residential area. Requires transportation to go anywhere. Perfect for a night en route to elsewhere, the Red Lion Olympia offered a warm welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation, and was located near to amenities and major roads. It was a great find.

This was the best maintained Red Lion I have been to. Room was very clean, staff was great. Would definitely recommend, especially for people traveling with pets.

I was greeted at the front desk and without delay, had my room keys.The clerk at the front desk as well as the bartender and waitress at the restuarant/lounge were both friendly and efficient. Everyone seemed glad that I was there. In short, everyone made me feel welcome. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was pleasant. We unfortunately stayed on a night that they had parties going on in the banquet rooms. Our room was relatively close so our door was constantly being pushed and jiggled with the intoxicated party goers. The banquet breakfast the next morning was definitely not worth the money.

I had to stay here during Thanksgiving weekend for business. The location was tough to find at first, but overall, everything went well. The staff was very friendly and the room service was wonderful. Thank you. I will definitely come back when I return to Olympia Area for business.

The Red Lion is definitely showing some age. While the location is perfect and the people are friendly, the hotel is in DIRE need of some renovations. The rooms are musty and uncomfortable. For such a prime location they should provide a better quality establishment.

Older hotel. Room was dated, but comfortable. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Good location with easy access to highway, shops, and restaraunts. No restaraunts in walking distance, but has a restaraunt and bar in the hotel which we ate at and thought the food was very good.

For it's location and price, beautiful lobby and I wish we would have had a room on the "view" side, make sure to ask! That overlooks the water, we looked directly at a building making our room very dark. Beds were probably the most comfortable I have been at a hotel.

I was just here for a quick overnight on my way north, but during the short time I spent, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the facility was. My room was very comfortable and super clean.

Nice Hotel. Initially hard to find. Visible from the freeway on the second pass. Great location to everything in Olympia. A little old, but the best in town.
