Location is excellent. We've got a small room with interior view. It's small, but the good point is, that we haven't heard the street noise. Don't bring your laptop with yourself, there is one in the room.

Location, location, location Great hotel for the money

You can't beat the location. However the noise in the streets does not start to quite until about 5:00AM. I ended up sleeping from 5:30AM to 8:00 each day. If you to party and feel Madrid, stay here. If you want to sleep at night, stay someplace else :)

All the good things: I visited the beginning of February 2012 and stayed in room 109 for 3 nights. It was very cute and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The room was incredibly clean and modern. It really did look just like the pictures! It had french doors that opened up to the fresh air and a laptop siting on top of the desk. The […] bed was fine. It was a typical European twin bed pushed together with another. I have traveled all over Europe and unless you stay in an American hotel and pay a pretty heavy price, you get a thin mattress but no box spring. It wasn't hard as a rock so, for me, it was fine and I slept well. I stayed during low season and therefore got a great rate. Since I was there when there wasn't a lot of activity, the area was pretty quiet and I can not make any complaints about late night noise coming from the outside. I will admit, however, that the walls are pretty thin. As I was getting ready one morning, I heard the guy next door singing and whistling. But again, you run the risk of thin walls just about anywhere you stay (trust me I know, I'm a flight attendant). Breakfast is good, there was a special BOGO but otherwise it is 17 euro a person and for that, I would probably explore elsewhere. Overall, the room was great and I actually enjoyed spending time in it. I traveled by myself and had plenty of room but even if sharing the room with one other person, we would still have had plenty of space. The bathroom was big too. I would guess it to be almost half the size of the bedroom! Lastly, the location couldn't have been better. Truly. Its a short block and a half away from the metro station, and a 10 - 15 min walk from the palace (one direction) and a 10 - 15 min walk to the Prado Museum and Retiro Park (another direction). Shopping and restaurants surround the hotel. The only not so great thing about the hotel... the front desk staff isn't the friendliness. The hotel Petit Palace Londres is really well placed for a family city vacation. The rooms are not really large for a family and not very modern either, but being a family of two adults and two children (aged 2 and 7) the room was perfect. Spending the days in the city does not really require a nice and fancy room. You're mainly being out enjoying beautiful […] Madrid! The location is excellent. The staff is kind and helpful. Excellent location for central Madrid, Room was excellent, definitely value for money,

loved the nearby shopping (right outside the front door), restaurants and entertainment.

Hotel staff very accomodating and the location is excellent . Within walking distance to everywhere and all transport available on your doorstep. Madrid is a very lively place and so far as the hotel is concerned - it could not have been better for the price we paid. All in all I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Very convenient location... we had some issues with the drainage in our bathroom, but otherwise highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent central location, but a dreary hotel in urgent need of an update and renovation. The lobby is dismal; the reception staff present poorly; the room was in need of maintenance, decent beds and a good clean. The redeeming feature was the buffet breakfast, which was pretty good.

we had a triple room which wasn't as small as we excpected. the location was perfect, couldn't ask for anything better. the bath wasn't working so good and they couldn't fix it but except of that they were nice and tried to help with everything.

The family room was just like a regular room but had a bunk bed. It was very uncomfortable for four people to sleep in this room.

Excellent location ... close to a metro station. You can get there easily direct from the airport. Also central to sights of Madrid. Rooms very small but clean. Friendly staff.

Central hotel, in an old building. The small room is no under statement. Even with the room door closed, you won’t be able to lay your suitcase out on the floor. One night we had the fire alarm go off at 5am in the morning; it took 2 hours for it to be turned off, as it was sound on and off for the duration. The cause was someone smoking in one of the […] rooms. Not their fault, but 2 hours to turn it off, hmm. Either way the staff were great, they even found my travel adapter and phone charger I left in the room, went back for it a week later for them to find it. I would go back to this hotel again without fail, it has everything you need, plus within walking distance to everything central saving on the train/bus/tram tickets. Lees meer

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. For our budget it was brilliant. the rroms included a laptop with wifi which was very convenient

Loved the location and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpfull. Metro very close by which made it easy to move around. Would definetly come back.

Absolute dump.

Excellent location between the main square of Puerta del Sol and the Gran Via main street. Metro is less than 100m away. Hotel was clean and each room also had a laptop with internet access.

The hotel is in an amazingly central location, just off Gran Via and Puerta del Sol, on a side street opposite 'El Corte Ingles' (that most Spanish of landmarks!). The staff were very helpful. I didn't try the breakfast as their are many eateries nearby. The room was very small, but clean and sufficient. They provide a laptop if requested. Petit Palace Londres is a fantastic spot for walking everywhere in Madrid. And, you're right at the Sol metro stop if walking isn't your thing. The breakfast on the rooftop is delightful and plentiful. Nice perk: laptop with internet service provided in every room. Absolutely fantastic location, two seconds away from Puerto del Sol and walking distance from many restaurants, bars, shops, and the open-top bus stop! We booked a family room for 4 females, great size however two of us had to share a fold-out bed which was a bit of a squeeze... twin beds or bunk beds would've been better. Two reception staff were […] fantastic; a young man and a female with curly heair, unfortunately I can't recall their names. However two of the reception staff were quite unfriendly; a female with short brown hair and a young girl with straighter hair; they didn't appear to want to spend the time to help with enquiries. The hotel is in a great location, 1 block from the metro, near all the restaurants and shopping. If feels safe but I wouldn't walk alone if I were female. Positives were free internet, location, and great air conditioning. Room was small and basic, had a nice bathroom, was quiet, and an LCD TV, though no english channels. We had an interior room, and […] it was very quiet. I suspect the outside facing rooms (a bit larger) would be slightly louder. There was only one problem with the hotel. The staff were fantastic - so accommodating. The free bicycles were much appreciated. Incredible location - in the middle of everything but enough off the strret that noise wasn't a factor. You should call after you make your reservation and ask for a corner room, much bigger room and more view of the street. Are stay was great except for the fact that the room key kept demagnetizing, more irritating than anything. Would not reccomend breakfast for 9€ cheaper places in the the square

After hoping around Europe for 3 weeks this was our last stop and we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Laptop in the room allowed us to make Skype calls back home and the breakfast buffet was by far the best we had during our trip. The room was clean, large for European standards and when we found our AC not working upon checking in, they had […] someone come and fix it immediately. Staff was reasonably helpful and the location was very central. We initially had some difficulty finding the place but local folks were very helpful. It is a stone throw away from a metro stop but be aware if you are going to use the metro to and from the airport you have 2 train changes and you will be carrying your luggage up and down some stairs. Family room is just too small for 4 people. Will work for 3. need to limit you baggage.

Good air conditioning is a must when traveling in Spain in August. The AC here was great. The hotel was clean and on 50 yards from the Plaza del Sol. Perfect location.

A good location for down town Madrid if you speak some Spanish. Service was modest and not that friendly. Great if you want to shop at El Corte Ingles. Other good Spanish shops including a Real Madrid shop are nearby. If you only have English this hotel might not be ideal for you.

I booked a single room for a one night stay in Madrid. The location was centrally located in the "Sol" area which is close to a main metro stop, the Plaza Mayor, Opera House, the Palace and most importantly shopping. Good choice for me. Safe, clean, boutique hotel.

Ikke lett for taxi å finne fram .rommet i seg selv var bra med fri bruk av rommets laptop.litt lite info om Madrid på rommet, dusjen virket bare ett av dusjhodene.Rengjøringen var veldig bra og nøye.Bra service i resepsjonen og de var til stor […] hjelp med ting du skulle trenge . Tuvimos un cambio de ultima hora y era necesario llevarno a nuestro perro un podenco de 9 kilos con nosotros, no solo no nos pusieron ni una pega sino que nos trajeron una camita y un cuenco para el perro. La atención de las chicas de recepcion fue excepcional, educado, y elegante.

Hvis man vil bo i centrum er dette hotel et rigtig godt valg, Hotellet var en smule slidt men pænt og rent. Godt til prisen,

EL hotel está muy bien situado, muy cerca de la Puerta del Sol. Es un hotel que en cuanto calidad precio es recomendable, yo quedé encantada.

ソル広場から徒歩１分、旧市街エリアも徒歩圏内で観光もしやすい。

Blev lurad på frukostpriser, de sa att vi har erbjudande på frukost 8.50E och så står det ät en gång få nästa gratis. När vi ska bet får vi ej detta utan de påstår att priset är ord 17E och att halva priset då blir 8.50E. Det stog ingenstans om 17E
