April 2 2012 We stayed at the Best Western in Macon, GA We liked this motel so much we are staying here again, This time we took the time to use the pool. The breakfast choices were great an the staff very friendly and helpfull. I mentioned to the desk clerk that we were retired military and we were given a disount on our room. We didnt have internet […] acess in FL where we were staying so didnt make a reservation in advance. We were still able to get a room upon our arival. Price was reasonable, breakfast was ok, room was big and beds comfy. I was traveling with young child and hotel was a safe environment. Staff was great - Sidney at the desk was wonderful, felt right at home. She went out of her way to make reservation work. I am from Florida and had to travel up to Illinois (could not wait to leave that state and get […] back to my souther roots), so it was a joy that God directed me to this hotel on the way back home. Great pool at the perfect temperature.

What sold us on the hotel was the indoor pool. It being the middle of winter, we though this would great! Well, turns out. you have to go outside and walk across the hotel to another building for the pool. This was a very pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and not rock hard. There were ample pillows, the room was clean and the staff was courteous. What more do we want? It was also quiet. Had a very nice stay.

Pros: decent size room with micro-fridge, and other BW standards; brex well-stocked even slightly past 10AM, with decent selection of hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, pastries, bread, bagels, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruits, milk, apple & orange juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and make-your-own waffles. Cons: Our room faced the parking lot; and the car alarm […] from a guest went off at 6AM for a very long time!!! After we tried hard to sleep again, the alarm went off the 2nd time!!! Had a nice overnight stay. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast had lots of choices, but a crowd trying to share a small space. Desk clerk/breakfast hostess worked tirelessly to keep everything going.

At a convenient I-475 Exit. Everything was as good as it gets.

Fair rate,clean room and good service at front desk. Good rate for pets also. Problem with the tv remote was corrected within 5 minutes from the time I called. Breakfast was OK.

reasonable value. the room was clean, the staff was very friendly. everything was pretty dated, breakfast was sparse, and the "indoor" pool was out back. but hey, free wifi, decent location, overall not bad, just don't expect luxury.

The hotel rooms were clean and the staff were professional and friendly. They provided great customer care. When I arrive very late at night (11:30PM), tired after a 4 hour drive, the clerk made every effort to locate a room that would provide me with the least disturbance from surround rooms, traffic, parking, and surrounding businesses. She was a […] pleasant and welcomed surprise. Only one problem... the toilet had a slow leak and drained occasionally during the night. I requested maintenance and they repaired it while I left for the day, but it still drained and refilled the next night. My suggestion is to either stay and wait for it a while or replace the problem part. Breakfast was hot waffles... mmm.. fruit, and other healthy choices. Parking and Internet are FREE. Hotel & Staff were awesome. Only complaint is the indoor pool wasn't heated. (waiting on a part). other than that, I'd recommend it!!!!!

I want to start by saying that the Rooms were very clean and comfortable, which is my #1 priority when staying in a hotel. I can't stand when I get a hotel room that I have to wear flip-flops in because I don't want to walk barefooted... This was a short 1 night stop on my trip from TN to FL, and was good for what I needed, although the pool closed […] at 10pm, so we didn't get much time to play in the pool. I didn't understand why they closed the pool so early, it's an indoor pool that is in a building that is seperated from the rooms, so it wasn't like noise would be heard in any of the rooms. The hotel was located on a road running parallel to the highway, and it didn't look like there was anything touristy to do in the immediate vicinity, but we did not drive around at all, so I'm not positive of that. Pool was nice indoor pool that is on the large size, with a good sized hot tub, and bathrooms in the pool building. Breakfast was, um, kinda scarce. They had the obligatory belgion waffle machine, but no fruit, just some pre-packaged danishes and small muffins, but nothing that I would eat for breakfast. I just picked up a cup of coffee when it opened at 6am on our way on the road. Lees meer

Stayed here passing thru on my way back home. Had a 3 year old with me. The room was clean. I hate out door rooms (doors are outside) they make me nervous as they are open to the public and the neighborhood was a little bit suspect, not really bad but I wouldn't leave anything of value out in the open. Guest services was very freindly and the Breakfast […] was really good, lot's of choices for continental. It served it's perpose of a close hotel off the interstate, Wal-mart near by and a clean bed. the room smelled so clean when we walked through the door - and very clean as well! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were not flat but comfy!

It was just what we needed: a clean room with good beds, great price, off the interstate for one night as we traveled north for a funeral.

Very convenient off interstate. Room was very clean..bed comfy and the staff was great...Price was great and even included breakfast. Would recommend

Great stay!! Check-in/Check-out fast. Nice person at the front desk. Room was in great condition. No problems!! Will stay here again.

Wonderful experience. I felt safe and comfortable the entire three days. Previous reviews indicated bathroom electrical outlets were minimal so I packed a short extension cord and had no problems. Enjoyed the coffee pot, hair dryer, and microwave oven. Room temp was easy to control. I would recommend this hotel to travelers.

Very clean. All employees were friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay there again.

Serivce was wonderful. A lot of smokers staying at the hotel. Room was nice and clean. Quiet and close to fast hood.

Title says it all. Moderately cheap room. Smelled musty but was pretty clean. Old tiny TV set that sort of worked for some channels. Had to get towels at front desk. Pool area was very clean as was the workout room, mainly because I think no one ever went in there. Breakfast was actually pretty good for a free lobby breakfast. Close to fast food-ish […] type restaurants and gas. Generally speaking, it was exactly as I figured it would be, zero frills but clean and cheap and quiet. Good for one night. Lees meer
