Uitstekend en zeer comfortabel hotel. Wel even uitrekenen of de park-sleep-fly deal wel zo'n goede deal is: ontbijt bleek niet inbegrepen en de shuttle service geldt allen van hotel naar vliegveld, niet andersom. Dat kost je dan toch weer een taxi.

Hotel Cristall ligt in Linkeroever van de Rijn - Oude stad in Keulen, dicht bij Kathedraal van Keulen, Romeins-Germaans museum en Stadhuis. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Alter Markt en Kerk Groß St. Martin.

Dit hotel heeft een bar/lounge.Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. "Cristall hotel koln goede service en heel centraal"
Modern, schoon en fris hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Goede service. We hadden een verstopte afvoer en krijgen direct een andere kamer. Zeer vriendelijk bij ieder contAct. De nieuwe Kamer was wel wat warmer daardoor minder geslapen. Ontbijt was goed verzorg en goede keuze, zat voor ons bij de boeking in. Hotel ligt op minuten lopen van station […] met metro vanwaar je voor met een dagkaart de hele stad kan bezien. Parkeren kan onder de dom (5 min lopen) voor 18 euro of voor 2,90 per dag bij een p+r en dan met metro 2 haltes terug naar centraal. Goed te doen. Naast hotel zijn ook plekken, maar alleen met meter. Heel goed hotel. Keurige indruk. Bezienswaardigheden, stadscentrum en station op geringe loopafstand. Zeker aan te raden voor personen met dezelfde gedachtengang van een kort (vakantie)verblijf in Keulen als wij. Prima, eenvoudig hotel. ontbijt is niet speciaal, maar er is voldoende keus. Ligging is prima, tussen het shoppen door kan je prima even je zware tassen naar het hotel brengen. Dicht bij het station en de Dom. Kortom, prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding.

Goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding (voor ons in ieder geval)! Eenvoudige maar nette kamers op een steenworp afstand van het centrum. Net personeel en ontbijt was goed. Een aanrader. Wel jammer dat de matrassen van het bed erg hard waren en het ontbreken van airco.

"Design is een ruim begrip"
Het hotel manifesteert zich als designhotel. Behalve een redelijk ongewone lobbyinrichting is daarvan niets te merken. Het ontbijt is geweldig goed en uitgebreid. "Lets go Keulen"
voor een lang weekend een uitsteken hotel tegen redelijke prijs op loopafstand van het hoofdstation. Een eenvoudige nette kamper met "gratis"pay tv. Ontbijt goed verzorgd elke dag verse handdoeken. Voor een behoorlijk hotel zou de lift wat ruimer kunnen zijn, maar een kniesoor die daar op let. kortom een aanrader!

Een zalig weekendje shoppen en kerstmarkten in Keulen. Heel gezellig, uitstekende ligging van het hotel: rustig maar toch redelijk dicht bij het centrum en het station (wat belangrijk was gezien we met de trein gekomen zijn) Een gezellig hotel, mooie kamers, zalige badkamers, en heerlijk ontbijtbuffet.

Een aangenaam hotel, goed gelegen met nette kamers en proper sanitair. De inrichting van de lobby en kamers is best origineel en het personeel was vriendelijk en voorkomend. Het ontbijtbuffet is ronduit fantastisch.

The hotel is very well located but still in a quiet area, few minutes away from station and cathedrale. Simple but good room. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast every morning with different pastries/ breads so you can try various german specialties as well as more classical stuff. This hotel has a very central location, next to the cologne main station. Nevertheless, this causes some noisy surrounding, especially because of the close railways. The room was clean an comfortable, although some of the furnishing look more functional than comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Decent rooms. Walking distance from all downtown attractions. Friendly staff. And close to the train station. Maybe a little too close to the train station (not a picturesque view), but I was in for business and too tired from travel for it to be of any concern.

A perfectly acceptable 3 star property about 3 minutes flat walk from the main railway station and the Cathedral. Well situated for the annual Christmas Markets (though most hotels in the city centre would be). Clean and most comfortable and good knowledgable service from the staff. My room was large but lacked net curtains so had to draw main curtains […] if any privacy was required as room was overlooked by nearby properties. Bathroom large with good ammenities - excellent shower but no bath. Morning continental style breakfast was well provisioned with plenty of choice and some hot items. No restaurant at property but there was a bar / lounge but this was expensive. Would recomend this hotel and would use again if ever in Cologne. Lees meer

The only minus point was that because it was near the railway tracks, it could be a little bit noisy. That was not a big problem for me. Other than that, it is nothing but excellant.

Spent 3 nights - location approx 5 min walk from Dom and Main Railway station. Convenient for sightseeing. (Christmas Markets, DOM and museums). Modern clean and efficiently run hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Only item lacking was a tea/coffee maker in the room. Otherwise very good including the self service breakfast which was good quality.

Excellent location, a 5 minute (safe) walk from the train station. The purpose of my trip was business, requiring regular train access, so the location was perfect for me. My walks were early in the morning and late at night and I felt completely safe everytime. Good restaurants with reasonable rates and excellent food were located very closeby. The […] hotel was comfortable and had everything I required. Ironing of business clothes was performed in a separate room on the third floor, however. Hotel Cristall is a very convenient 5 minute walk from the main station (Cologne Hbf). The reception are is modern and inviting, but the hotel is situated between a dual carriageway on one side and the railway lines of Cologne station on another. You might want to ask for a room on the quieter Church side - as long as you don't mind being woken up by […] church bells at 7am each morning! Breakfast is simple but good and the hotel staff friendly. Rooms and bathroom are on the small side and don't be surprised to find one of those old-style in-window air-conditioning systems in your room as the hotel doesn't have piped aircon. That said, it's a great little business hotel as long as you don't mind things being clean and simple. And the wi-fi is probably one of the fastest I've come across. I'll definitely stay there again. Hotel is conveniently located, about 5-10mins away from Cologne Hauptbanhof, with a supermarket and some restaurants nearby. However, one wing of the hotel is facing the main road. The sounds of moving vehicles and trains goes on throughout the day and night and can be disturbing for a light sleeper. The other wing faces a side street and is much quieter. […] The hairdryer in my room broke down one night and when I requested for a spare, I was told that the spare hairdryer had been loaned to another hotel guest and there were no more hairdryers. I find this baffling given that there are 97 rooms in the hotel. The front desk staff apologised for the inconvenience without suggestion of alternatives. I had to ask the staff if i could use the hairdryer in another room as I was unable to get to sleep with wet hair. Thankfully the staff allowed me to do so. The faulty hairdryer in my room was also efficiently replaced by the next night. Hotel room is clean generally and buffet breakfast, though a little limited in variety was alright. Very convenient for the railway station. Clean and well-appointed rooms and a very good breakkfast buffet. All at an affordable price.

the room is clean and comfortable but the bed and pillows are too soft. No air-conditioner in the room which is not that great for summer time !!! The buffet breakfast is very good especially the variety of bread and all are delicious. Location is ok, close to the train station but the surrounding is a bit quiet.

Although we planned only three nights, my daughter and I extended our stay an additional two nights at this fine little hotel. Located near the main railroad station and within a few blocks of the Cologne Cathedral and the old (2000 years dating to the Romans) town, the Cristall is very convenient with friendly staff, an excellent breakfast buffet and […] staff that spoke excellent English.
