Microtel Inn Denver in Denver

Everything about the Microtel Inn Denver was good except the condition/cleanliness of the room. That was based on the carpeting and a window seat. They either needed a good cleaning or replaced. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Considering the price I will prefer to stay here overnight whenever I fly out of Denver airport. Shuttle service is not very frequent with limited space for 10 people and you have to inform the day before for morning flights. Stayed overnite to catch early flight next AM. Only problem was the Shuttle runs on the 1/4 after the hour and had to wake up 1 hour earlier than wanted. Driver was great and clerk also.Room clean and quiet.

The hotel was very convenient to the airport. The staff was helpful with any questions I had. There wasn't a lot close by, but enough to have a variety of food choices and the drive into Denver was not far. I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend. Not if you are looking for luxury. But was very comfortable and clean.

Mike was very pleasant. Picked us up at rental place and was very pleasant. Bed very comfortable. The shuttle picked us up at hotel and brought us to Denver Airport per request. Would have nice if Microtel Hotel would offer a continental breakfast. Thanks, pleasant stay at reasonable cost.

GREAT PEOPLE GREAT SERVICE. CLEAN! Far from the downtown but the pricing was great!

The breakfast bar was much to be desired. We did not eat because it was all very old! The bagel's was hard as a rock. They need to upgrade their TV's! Very small and it was up high. We could hardly see it from the bed.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel some of the comments that were left were nit very fair to this hotel . The hotel has a shuttle that you need to call from the airport to pick you up, it's free and was stress free. They will also take you to the airport, just sign up at the front desk. Coffee was made served with a variety of cold cereals, muffins and Beagles. The hotel is perfectly fine for the price. If you require more from a hotel then stay at hyatt or Marriott . I was looking for a good rate on a hotel close to the airport as I was flying out first thing the following morning. I found it in this hotel. Personnel was polite and helpful and the room was clean and provided what I needed for my stay. Cozy and comfortable

It's close to the airport and there's a free shuttle. No frills. Clean and cheap.

The hotel is fine for a one night stay but beware that you will be charged if your car stays overnight. The shuttle service is a little sketchy because you have to call to be picked up from the airport and they may or may not show up. We arrived and were picked up almost immediately. Friendly driver. Check in was easy and informative. All staff were very friendly. However, upon arrival in our room, first thing we had to look at was a huge stain on carpet. Very disgusting to look at. Rest of room was clean and comfortable. Price was good for value. Room rug not vacuumed well but room was overall clean.

YUCK! I was very tempted to leave and find another hotel! Good thing it was reasonable rate and very close to the airport. Lacked cleanliness. There was even a pair of men's underwear hanging on the back of the bathroom door! The manager was very apologetic.

Shuttle runs once an hour, room was tiny, unclean, thin walls, staff was inconsiderate, my non smoking room filled with smoke frim neighbord. drawers had 4 condoms and a bottle of lube. Will not return.

This is very convenient to the airport area and was fine for the price.

Hotel is deteriorating. carpet was worn down and with ground-in dirt. would not recommend it. A year ago it was much cleaner and nicer.

nice hotel, nice staff. Suggest you let them know in advance your flight arrival time, sometimes it takes a while before the shuttle gets there. Leave well before your flight time.

I found the hotel to be very convenient to the airport as well as to restaurants. +

The room was nice and clean, a little small, but since my husband and I were only there a night it didn't really matter. The little diner near the hotel was alright a tad pricey but was expected considering it was near hotels next to the airport. We would consider staying here again.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The fist time I stayed, which was on the first floor the room was bright, clean and spacious. This time I was in a second floor room and the room was worn looking and lacked a refrig and micro. I will be staying again this weekend. I asked for a first floor room. The hotel itself was fine but I had to wait 1.5 hours for the free shuttle. I saw other hotels come by with their shuttles 5-7 times before. I would stay at a different hotel next time.

First night the room alarm went off around 3:30 am. Maids forgot to check it from previous guest. Second night the alarm went off in empty room next to ours at 3am. Had to call front desk to get someone to turn it off after 30 minutes. Won't be back.

Would highly recommend. Perfect place to stay if you have an early flight

Pretty difficult to find initially with the 63rd Avenue address. It also was marked as an extended stay but had no laundry type area which I found surprising. Otherwise, the desk help was very nice and helpful. There is a great diner out on the road that was worth the stay.

Our stay was okay for its purpose which was just one night to be near the airport. However, there were some issues. When we arrived, the desk clerk was speaking with another employee who was dressed inappropriately (skin tight jeans, and a ripped shirt that showed skin). She then got a call on her walkie talkie from the airport shuttle driver who was […] complaining about not finding a customer. Her response was, "I'm not going to deal with that now. I just got off a 10-hour shift in the bus. Let him deal with it." The hallways and public areas were smelly and run-down. The carpeting was stained also. The room itself was adequate, but nothing special. The worst part of the stay was the breakfast. When we went downstairs (at 8 am - still early), there was hardly any food available. The milk and OJ containers looked dirty. The coffee was terrible. There were only 3 tables. We ended up eating breakfast at a nearby diner, which added $45 to our stay. Kudos to the kindly staff, who kept our perishable treasure -Turkish baklava - refrigerated until our return after a week. Beyond the call of duty!

The personnel at the service desk at this hotel was horrible. The free breakfast was a frustrating waste of time. When I asked for the coffe to be refilled or for milk for the cereal the staff acted like I was inconveniencing them. I will not go back to Microtel.

The breakfast bar was poorly maintained. They ran out of supplies frequently and restocking was almost non- existant. The front desk said an employee walked off the job without notice, but it was Saturday morning and the staffing was pitiful.

I was hesitant about reserving a room in this hotel because of the bad reviews. My first reaction is, the people who wrote the reviews must have stayed a a different hotel. I can't say that I was very happy that at 11:00 pm the room door opened and my room had been rented to someone else. I was told I had checked out that morning . I had paid for 2 nights and had only stayed 1, someone should really pay attention to the business part of running a motel.Was treated as if, I had no reason to complain.

nice ,economy good hotel with all comforts

The room was not very clean. I think it was ketchup in the corner of the room clotted into some kind of science experiment. The linen was clean but had cigarette burns in them. It was ok, we only needed it as we had an early flight out, this was the most reasonable priced place for just a few hour sleep. Probably would not use it if was on a vacation.

The motel was close to airport, The mattress was hard and some what uncomfortable. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice.
