Husa Reina Victoria in Valencia

Hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Kamer was echt oud en versleten, gaten in de lakens en gordijnen, bollend laminaat, aangeslagen douchegordijn... Uitzicht op een kleine binnenplaats, haast geen daglicht in de kamer en een zeer pedante lucht van een agressief schoonmaakmiddel. De ligging is haast ideaal daarentegen. Zeker geen 4 sterren waard.

Metro, shops en veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand, anders naar Solution Bike en huur je een fiets.

Prima hotel, een goed uitgangspunt om de stad te verkennen.

Goed schoon hotel, wij hadden rustige kamer aan einde gang waardoor je minder last had van geluidsoverlast door bv andere hotelgasten. Het hotel is makkelijk te bereiken met metro vanaf het vliegveld (metrostation Colon uitstappen). Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand, je zit midden tussen het historische centrum en de winkelstraten. Het strand […] is goed te bereiken met de metro die op 5 minuten loopafstand zit. Husa Reina is een perfect hotel tijdens een stedentrip aan Valencia. Midden in het oude centrum op loopafstand van vele bezienswaardigheden, pleinen en gezellige Spaanse horeca. Openbaar vervoer om de hoek. Personeel erg vriendelijk en correct. Wij hebben genoten en Husa Reina is een echte aanrader.

We went for a weekend to Valencia, Hotel Husa Reina victoria. Hotel is in the Centre of Valencia, near the metro station colone (200m). Price was good, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and breakfast was very good.

Ondanks het taalprobleem was het personeel en de manager zeer behulpzaam bij een medisch probleem. Verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt, goede aanvulling van de voorraad. Although the hotel was a bit tire the location and the friendliness of the staff made up for it.. Would stay again as it is so near to everything .

This hotel is very centrally located, and convenience to many sightseeing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and tidy.

Husa Reina location is excellent and easy to get to from the Airport - any Metro (No3 or 5) gets you to Colon (5 Euros but keep your ticket for future use - we had two people on one card - simply use twice at entrance & exit) then walk to Barcas 5 mins. Hotel is in the old town with the main square 2 mins away - so perfect. The Hotel could do with a […] make over regarding new paint & bedding to freshen up the place. We had a balcony room which added to the experience. Friendly staff & reception. We tried the restaurant & had an excellent 3 course meal for about 16 Euro's each - only ones there. Very classy decour & waiter was spot on. Reasonable wine prices too. Overall excellent value for money, great location and try the restaurant for quality, style & sophistication - tastes good too! Excellent location, the hotel has a nice Art-Deco architecture. Minor drawbacks : lack of view ine the room, and an outdated TV, which is not a big issue when you want to visit all day long !

I booked this hotel while driving Spain on a Europe excursion. One of the nicest hotels so far! Location is absolutley perfect. Room was large and ornate! As is the whole hotel. Lots of wrot iron, winding staircases and wonderful bar and restaurant on the 2nd floor. For the price I paid, this was a steal!

Enjoyed staying there. Will definitely return. Nice breakfast buffet.

this hotel was a total waste of money. the only thing it has going for it is it is in the center. very old hotel and has not been updated as it should have been. colors are very drab, hairdryers were at least 20 years old as much of the interior is. very noisy on the street side. stayed there end of october and theyhad turned on the heating in the central […] system. if you know anything about valencia, it is not needed. had to change room because there was no air, just hot air. there are so many other hotels that are much better and less cost. Best location ever! less than 10 min walking distance to the old town and just next to the best shopping centers of Valencia. The Valencia tourist info center is just opposite the hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed here for 3 nights room only. Room large and clean, comfortable beds and no traffic noise. Staff dealt promptly with requests for extra pillows etc, All staff very helpful Loved Valencia, the city was clean, compact and flat for walking around. We were in the centre of the city with 5 -10 minutes wander to the central market, cathedral, the historic […] centre and at night all the lovely bars and restuarants there. We loved it. We chose a longer walk to the beach - took an hour but on a lovely day I didn't mind and the beach is long and clean and worth a visit. We used Trams / Metro train for public transport and found them clean and efficient. (3.60 euro fare from airport to nearest metro to hotel) We will definitely be visiting again Lees meer

The hotel definitely has a charm to it. It looks like a hotel from the early 1920's but has been renovated and is modern. Nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet as well. The hotel is a block away from the City Hall. Would stay here again.

Pleasant and very conveniently located hotel. Very friendly staff. Hotel facade is beautiful, the rooms do need some renovation - painting on the wall with water marks, etc. but overall quite comfortable and inexpensive, i would recommend it, vey close to the tourist office and the train stn.

We chose this hotel as we were on a 3 day city break and wanted a central location. The hotel was in a great location with essy walking distance to the main squares and shops. Despite it being in a busy area there was no disturbance from outside noise. The location of the hotel for Las Fallas was excellent - although the crowds attending the daily Mascleta in the Plaza de Ayuntamiento made access a bit difficult. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room comfortable. Didn't use the restaurant because so many other ptions were available close by.

Amazing value hotel in a convenient location. If you're coming from the airport, the metro goes direct to Colon, where it is a 7 minute walk, again direct! If you wish to pay extra for the breakfast, it is well worth it.

The hotel was packed with American high school and college student tour groups that were out of control. The noise was unacceptable and the desk told us there was nothing they could do for us. The staff moved us for the second night but the noise was even worse. I went down to the desk three times and on the third visit asked for another room, but I […] was told that I would find the same problem throughout the hotel because they had so many tour groups. At midnight, I hunted out the party room myself and asked the students (mostly drunk) to hold it down and they did. If you are a high school or college tour group operator, this is the place for you. This was just what we wanted! A 4 star hotel at a reasonable rate in the perfect location for the Old City, the main square, bus & metro services, restaurants, nightlife and, last but NOT least, shopping! We didn't book breakfast but the hotel did a "buffet special" @ €8.90 for two! From the airport via metro to Colon and a 5 minute walk from there. Turn […] left out of the front door and you're in the main Squere in 50 metres! Turn right out of the front door and right again and you'll soon find a huge choice of eateries eiether fine dining, excellent Tapas or cosy cafes! The Hotel was very well maintained as advised by another review as for a room with balcony its a must. This Hotel is in a perfect position to explore the Historice Center of Valencia, a very oldy worldy hotel breakfast fantastic

Fantastic old spanish charm is how I would describe this hotel. Very centrally located within 5 min walk of Colon Underground station and 7 min from the main railway station. Frontage is lined with palm trees, old victorian ironwork canapy and balconies and close to the tourist info. Lots of banks close by for cashpoints. Excellent professional english […] speaking receptionists. Our room was on the 3rd floor and althoug there is street noise the double glazing worked quite well. The room was great, spacious with a huge king size bed and very high ceiling. TV has european channels but just CNN and BBC World News in english. However there was sky sports showing live champions league football with spanish commentary. Bathroom was wall to wall marble tiles and spotless. Shower and bath very high standard. Breakfast was a buffet affair with hot bacon, egg etc as well as continental. The breakfast was 8.50 euros which is probably good value for the quality of the hotel but as we had eaten out the night before we walked to a nearby cafe and had a light snack for half the price. We had travelled to Valencia from Denia/Calpe where we were staying for a week and Valencia seemed like a good idea to break the week up and have a one night city break. It worked perfectly and the hotel really added to the visit. We had a great 2 days and walked and walked. The hotel was very handy for popping back as its very close to all of the central attractions. Its deservedly gets 5/5 from us because it was also good value at GBP62 for the room. Excelent hotel with maybe the best location you van find in valencia. Stayed here for 4 nights and evrything was great. When you come in the closest metro station is Xativa, we thout by the map on hotels.com that Angel Gu. is the closest so we had to walk for 5 min

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the new part of the city but easy walking distance (<10 mins) to the beautiful old town. Cozy rooms in a convenient location for tourist locations in Valencia. Good staff. Only caveat is that if your driving, it's a little hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the town.

This hotel is perfect to see Valencia old city. It's located 2 blocks from the main RENFE train station (Estacion del Nord), when you get out of the station walk straight towards the big buildings, once you see a big fountain, make a right, i'ts only a few feet away, the sign is high, so look up to see it. This is not a modern hotel, it's a historic building, but it's very nice and staff speaks English. Tourism office in the corner to the right, across the street. Take the double decker at the cathedral (go on the maritime route first, it's better). The cathedral is a 5 min. walk at the hotel, make a left and then a right go straight, when it divides in two take the left. The cathedral is a must see and only a 5 min. walk from the hotel, make sure you go in $7USD, it's worth it, they have the Holy Grail Jesus used on the last supper, approved by the Vatican, two Popes have been here to say mass. Walk around the streets and go to the market before noon, very close to the cathedral. Make sure you go to Ciudad de las Ciencias, you can't miss this, it's a spectacular complex, the main attraction. I recommend the aquarium and the atmospheric (IMAX film), the science museum is very boring, it's not worth it. Lees meer

The staff were always pleasant, the room clean and adequate with large beds but decor dated. Would have liked a kettle in the room but mini-bar only. The location however was superb, central, walking distance of Colon metro station which links direct to airport. Dining facilities not used, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. We would go back.

Located on a quiet street just off a main square, very convenient for the railway station. Very friendly staff. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Bathroom had a great shower. Bodde på hotellet i midten av september. Fantastisk beliggenhet, med kort vei til 'alt' i gamlebyen. Veldig greit å ta metroen til/fra flyplassen, men noen få hundre meter å gå enten fra Colólon eller Xàtiva stasjon. Hotellet er gammelt, men velholdt og i god stand. Hadde rom i nest øverste etasje, så vi var ikke plaget av støy, selvom vi hadde rom […] mot gaten. Noe lytt mot korridor og mellom rom. Aircondition fungerte veldig bra. Das Zimmer hatte "Blick" in einen kleinen hohen Schacht - kein schöner Anblick! Dafür war das Zimmer ruhig - ohne Autolärm. Die Sauberkeit, der Komfort und die zentrale Lage machten alles wieder wett. Das Zimmer war passend für ein Kurzaufenthalt!

Hotel correcto, buen servicio y sobretodo céntrico que te permite ir a todas partes y poder visitar la ciudad antigua a pie.
