Easy to recommend this hotel as it is clean and friendly with good service and great location. When you consider the amount for a standard room I think this hotel is excellent value.

Hightly recommend, very nice hotel. Although breakfast is not included it is very very nice.

I stayed 1 night at the Carlemany and had an excellent experience-- nice room, comfortable bed and great shower. Noise from neighboring rooms was a bit loud in my room, but only during the day and it may have been unique to my specific room. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. The hotel is well located, only 2 blocks from the train station. […] I spent most of my time in the old quarter, which was about a 15 minute walk. This is a modern hotel in the centre of Girona. Convenient for sightseeing, this hotel is reasonably priced, extreemly clean and the staff are polite and helpful. Ideal to stay at when visiting this lovelt Spanish town.

This is a modern, clean, friendly hotel, right in the centr of Girona. I have stayed there twice before and I am going back this weekend. An ideal location to explore a really lovely part of Spain

Hotel Carlemany is a clean, modern, contemporary hotel. It is in a great location...just 2 blocks from train station and walking distance to central 'tourist' plaza. There are shops, restaurants, and a little grocery just around the corner. It was very quiet and the staff is great. The WiFi is tedious to use, but works and is free. The exterior plaza […] entrance could use some landscaping...it belies how nice the interior is. A great value for the money. Used this hotel as 'home base' to travel around Europe, as Girona train & airport is close. Spent a total of 7 nights intermittently. This is a perfectly acceptable business and tourist hotel in the centre of Girona. We picked it because it was close both to the old city, which is a great place to spend a few hours, and to the railway station, where we were headed in the morning. For the standard of hotel, the rooms and service were on the right side of acceptable. Unfortunately, […] breakfast was disappointing; the choice for full breakfast was limited compared with other recently visited hotels and the cooked food looked as if it had been lying too long. All in all not worth the additional euros we paid for it. Overall I think the cost was a little bit on the high side. Last year we stayed in a similar hotel down the road in Barcelona for a shade over half the cost...and the breakfast was superb (and included in the rate). Lees meer

My room overlooking the plaza did not have double glazing. Arriving after a long journey I tried to nap before heading out for the evenng, it was impossible due to the noise coming from outside. Overnight was quiet enough. Breakfast was forgettable and expensive but the room it was served in was very nice. Staff polite, friendly and helpful.

Convenient, clean, good value, but a bit soulless. My daughter left a soft toy behind, the staff were good enough to find it and send it to us.

ideally situated - only five minutes walk from the centre of Girona and five minutes walk from the main bus and train station. Staff very helpful and pleasant, rooms modern, spotless and spacious. Excellent value for money.

No es un hotel barato, pero está bien situado (a solo 10 minutos caminando del centro), y las habitaciones estan muy limpias y son amplias. En general es un hotel recomendable.

Breve soggiorno ma posso confermare che questo hotel è posizionato benissimo, accanto alla stazione degli autobus e a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Portiere gentile, camera confortevole con letto king size, perfettamente pulito. Lo consiglio.

Hotel bonito y habitación amplia y cómoda. El bar del hotel es muy agradable y hacen unos combinado muy buenos! Ubicación céntrica. Único problema, la calefacción no iba... salía aire frío. El baño podría ser un poco más moderno pero bien!

Great hotel with great service at a great price in a city that had better shopping than you could expect and a lot of good restaurants. We used the hotel because is is close to Girona Airport on a vicit to Barcelona, but if we reurn somitime, we will stay in Girona and take the train to Barcelona. Hyggeligt, god og serviceminded modtagelse. Ligger 5 min fra banegård, busstation og den gamle bydel. Torvepladsen foran hotellet er genial til et glas svalende danskvand eller lign. i eftermiddagssolen.

Very nice hotel, quiet, good beds, helpfull staff, very central location. We came to visit Barcelona with Ryanair, who use Gerona Airport. We found Gerona and Carlemany worth a visit on the way instead of arriving late in Barcelona.
