Wij waren hier van 24 t/m 25 april 2011 (1 nacht). Vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie, geadviseerd over restaurants in de omgeving. Ontbijt met warme gerechten. Binnenzwembad achter ontbijtzaal. Kamer met koelkast/magnetron/koffie-theefaciliteiten. Waar voor je geld!

CO gas leak killed 11 yr. old boy on our floor. His mother was unconscious, but has revived. Older couple died in same room two months earlier. Hotel continued to rent same room even though toxicology report from April deaths was not completed. Hotel was cited by health department prior to April for inadequate ventilation in pool heater room under room […] where deaths occurred. This info is from news reports subsequent to our stay. We arrived late after miles and miles of dark twisty roads. Yes we did want to stay in the mountains! LOL We saw the 2 hotel signs and I remembered the reviews of people fussing about how to get to the hotel. It was different but I was prepared and had only a little trouble. I had some issues last week with my 2 day stay. The AC was odd in my room. It worked the first day but I noticed the grate was backward on it and it blew air back on the window it was under, not into the room. It froze up the next day so I had to run the heater in the unit to get it back on line. Just odd. No newspapers. The breakfast buffet was extremely […] limited. Very nice hotel. Comfortable and quiet. The only problem was that I could not get the room quite cool enough, which is significant considering I was staying in Boone in May and it was very cool outside!

The hotel was hard to find, but once we were there we had a great time. Our room was clean,comfortable, and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. My daughter really liked staying at the hotel too. She especially enjoyed the fresh baked cookies:)

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel gave us an unexpected upgrade. The location was close to shopping and good restaurants.

Room was large and clean. One on the better Best Westerns that I've stayed at. Breakfast was Ok, Waffles, breakfast sandwich, cereal, pastries and fruit. Very good service

What I paid for the room in comparison to the quality I received, I do feel I got my monies worth. To get cheaper rates I tried to travel during the week, for the most part I was successful except for a Sunday stay which was rather pricey. There were a couple of other things I didn't like. My room didn't have a bathroom fan nor a fan on the heater, […] I use that for white noise at night so I'm not stuck listening to the next door folks. My wife was concerned about staying in a 2 1/2 star hotel and that Best Westerns are not always that nice. She was very pleased with this place, at least for a family stay. The pool was super-warm which was much appreciated and enjoyed by the kids. Breakfast was OK - they had the basics. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, as was the rest […] of the hotel. One minor detail - the breakfast area is cold - either you're near the cold windows or you''re near the draft from the front door of the lobby. The fireplace was not operating for some reason. Very convenient to Boone commercial areas and to Elk Knob State part. Reasonably close to alpine ski places. Hotel was super easy to find and in a great location. Lots of dining nearby. Close to ski areas (within 20 minutes) Towels provided at the pool. Room was clean. I stayed at the Best Western while visiting my college student. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty elaborate for a hotel lobby breakfast. The only down at all was that the hallway smelled musty, but that smell did not carry over into the rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a good stay and would probably stay again. Management needs to watch out though for attention to detail when it comes to room cleanliness. I found some areas that appeared to have been neglected as far as a vacuum ever touching it, especially around the bed areas where pieces of trash/debris were seen. Customer Service was outstanding in this hotel! Did find a few hairs on a pillowcase, but I brought my own pillow from home so replaced it with that. Everything else was clean and well kept. Would stay here again.

We have not stayed at a BW+ before, however this seemed to be very comprable to most Hampton Inn's that we have stayed in over the years. Breakfast was almost identical and the indoor pool was an added bonus. Especially since the cost of the nearest Hampton Inn for the same night was $30-$40 more.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean room. Good breakfast choices and very crowded. Bathroom a bit small. Old style TV and a bit small for the room. Got a bit pricey for the one night of the local college football game but rest of nights were reasonable.

The stay was nice, the heat did not work but it was not a problem, they fixed it promply the next day. The breakfast was nice and the staff was really nice . I would stay again . The location was near downtown Boon so it worked out well for us.

I have stayed here before and like the location. The room was nice and I would stay here again. Here's what I told the person when we checked out: the alarm clock buttons did not work (could not set the alarm) and someone had scribbled on the chair and table with an ink pen (looked like no one had attempted to clean it). The only other thing I don't […] like about staying here is the cleaning people begging for money! They put an envelop in your room asking for tips for doing their job.
