Super 8 Gresham/Portland Area in Portland

Staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful!!! Will deffinatly stay again

I was not generally in favor of staying at a Super 8 but price and location won out this trip. The property was very clean and presentable.

Good for the price

For the cost this is a good option. Staff is great, hotel clean and breakfast being included saves time and money on a trip. Best part is being under 1 block from the Max stop!...we left the car behind for the day and took the train into downtown Portland..rode all day for under $5.00.

Upon entry to the room, we turned on a bedside lamp and were surprised to see an adult bedbug crawling on the wall at the headboard.

The outstanding aspect of this motel is the staff: all cheerful, friendly and helpful. Another great feature: it's a straight shot from the airport, over major streets, but without having to use a freeway. Yet it's far enough from the airport to avoid airport noise.

The folks at Super 8 Gresham are unfailingly friendly and helpful. It's obvious that they care about what they're doing.

Wireless Internet did not work, breakfast very limited, condition and cleanliness of rooms just ok. Could do better for the same cost elsewhere.

Despite other bad reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Good price, clean and easy access. I have no complaints.

All towels were dirty, you cloud hear the traffic all day round, I could not have a good sleep, and I had to go and buy a towel to take a bath.

Not bad for the price although the hallways do smell like smoke covered up very heavily by a perfumed carpet powder. Room was quiet and clean and the access to the hotel very easy.

The staff was helpful and the place was clean. My only problem was that the heater in the room didn't work well. We had to keep tweeking the knobs to keep the heat on. Other than that we had no complaints.

The room was pretty much what I expected for the price. The big bonus was the free continental breakfast w/hot waffles. Big fan. My only complaints were that there wasn't an elevator (hubby had to lug luggage for 5 up a flight of stairs) and the room could have been cleaner. There was a dirty towel left thrown up on top of the clothes hanger and there […] was what looked like a tiny blood stain that didn't come out in the wash on my pillow case. I'm not a germaphob so I didn't freak but I could see how it would upset someone. (It had obviously been washed just the faded stain was left). The counter clerk was very helpful and very cheerful. She took great care of us. The room was very large and comfortable. I would defintily stay here again. I did the STP 200 miles in one day and the hot tub was the perfect end of the day.

I would have liked for the hotel rate to have been less expensive but I was happy with the room, the service, and the overall experience.

we were very satisfied with our super 8 experience; breakfast was better than expected (make your own waffles) and was very close to where we needed to be. The down-side would be the traffic noise from the street. Ask for a room as far from the curb as possible!

I thought this was a pretty nice motel. The customer service was good, the employees were friendly, and it was pretty quiet for the most part. My only two complaints were the size of the motel, and the price. It was a little smaller than I expected, and I thought the price was a little high. I've stayed in $50.00 motels which had the same immenities, […] and was just as clean and roomy. Other than that though, I have no complaints. I would definitely consider staying their again.
