Net hotel. Wat ouder, maar wel goed schoon. De locatie is top, vlakbij alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. Op de bovenste verdieping zit bar. En daar wordt ook het ontbijt geserveerd. Dit is van zeer slechte kwaliteit! Kosten zijn 8,50 euro p.p. Daarvoor krijg je oude broodjes en water met een oranje kleur, wat jus d'orange moet voorstellen. Niet doen; lekker in de stad gaan ontbijten. bijv. bij Starbuck net om de hoek.

Leuk oud hotel aan de prachtige Avenue de Liberdade. Goede locatie om stad lopend te ontdekken. Prachtige antieke trap naar 1e verdieping mocht niet gebruikt worden waardoor verplicht liftgebruik. Kleine ontbijtruimte maar voldoende ontbijtmogelijkheden in omgeving. Beter kamer zonder ontbijt boeken! Bar was tijdens ons verblijf gesloten. Daardoor minder levendigheid in hotel.

uitstekend; 2 goede restaurants in huis, waarvan het verande restaurant een fantastisch uitzicht heeft.Bar op dak is uitstekend gesitueerd, maar de service van het personeel in deze bar laat te wensen over.Schoonmaak kamer uitstekend en op tijd, tijdens ontbijt.

Hotel is mooi, modern, heerlijke bedden, prima kamer en douche. Vlakbij metrohalte gelegen waardoor je snel in de stad bent, maar lopend is ook goed te doen.Bus van de airport stopt ook dichtbij. Ontbijt was goed, maar wel elke dag hetzelfde, weinig variatie bij het ontbijtbuffet. Wij hadden een vroege vllucht en konden toch al direct in onze hotelkamer. Perfect geregeld. De hotelkamers zijn wel wat gehorig.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"prima hotel als uitgangspunt voor trips"
Hotel is zeer netjes en het personeel erg vriendelijk, zoals eigenlijk veel Portugezen. Het ontbijt is goed en er is genoeg en wanneer iets op is, wordt dat aangevuld. Ontbijt ook zeer goed vanwege de aanwezige Nespresso, heerlijk zo'n kopje koffie. Kamer is niet al te groot maar genoeg om in te verblijven. Wij verbleven 10 dagen en elke dag was er […] schoon linnengoed. Zelfs wanneer we pas in de middag het hotel verlieten, was er opgeruimd wanneer we weer laat in de avond arriveerden. Het bed slaapt heerlijk, er is internettoegang via een kabel en deze werkt perfect. Een leuke gadget is de wekkerradio waar je je Ipod in kunt zetten en je dus wakker wordt met je eigen muziek. Het platte beeldscherm werkt goed en is met de afstandbediening makkelijk vanuit bed te bedienen. Nog een pluspunt is dat er een driedubbel raam is aangebracht waardoor het drukke verkeer amper meer te horen is, tel daarbij op de zeer goede verduisteringsgordijnen en je begrijpt waarom je soms een gat in de dag kunt slapen. Al met al een heerlijk hotel, ook omdat de metro-ingang ongeveer 15 meter van de hotel-ingang verwijderd is. Het metronet is redelijk fijnmazig en je komt gemakkelijk op vrijwel alle plekken. Tip is om van te voren een meerritten-kaart te kopen bij de winkel in de metro. Komt de metro niet in de buurt van de gewenste plek, dan is de goedkope taxi ook een optie. Lees meer

Hotel is nicely located with easy access to the Pombal square where lots of organized tours start. It's also only 10-15 minutes walk to downtown so it doesn't matter much where you want to go. Staff was really helpful and friendly leaving a very positive image.

The hotel is ideally positioned for which ever way you arrive in Lisbon, being located only a very short walk from the Marques De Pombal metro station. The hotel was very comfortable, breakfast excellent and hotel staff exceptionally helpful. We purchased the 1 day bus / tram / metro travel cards initially E4.50 and topped them up on a daily basis for […] E3.95; they are excellent value as they can also be used on the elevators, essential in such a hilly city. Definitely try the Bairro Alto for eating out in the evening and I can recommend "Alfaia" restaurant. No matter how short your stay try to visit Sintra as the experience is magical. Lees meer

The hotel is very close to Marques de Pombal metro station and a short walk to several bus routes. Hotel staff are friendly and genuinely interested in the job. Sound-proofing is excellent. The only negative is the breakfast room, which is very crowded, and it does not seem to be arranged in the best way.

Stayed 5 nights. Room was decent size by European standards, well-appointed, as was bathroom. Bed was quite comfortable. Hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet. Staff is unfailingly polite and helpful. Breakfast spread was extensive--eggs, meats, cheese, breads, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, more. The location is excellent, just off Marques de Pombal […] circle, a major transportation hub. The airport bus stops there as do several city bus lines, the hop-on tourist buses, and the metro. It is a maximum 15-minute walk downhill to Restauradoes Square and the downtown beyond that. There are several restaurants on the side streets behind the hotel as well as along Avenida Liberdade between the hotel and Restauradores. The return walk from downtown is uphill, but it is a fairly gentle grade (certainly among the gentlest by Lisbon standards!). Lees meer

We had a perfect stay at Marques De Pombal Hotel. Location, staff, luxury were all 5 star. I would definately recommend. On a negative note, make sure you go to Tourist information centre rather than the hotel concierge as their tour prices were quite expensive.

"Good four start hotel"
Nice good quality hotel with extremely friendly staff, recommended. Reasonably well located on one of the main streets, 15 minutes walk from the center and near a subway station, maybe five minutes walk from the bus stops. We stayed with a baby - a baby cot is provided free if required, and upon request we also got a water boiler for warming the baby […] food and formula. The hotel has a nice gym, with free weights and a good selection of equipment. There is a sauna but it requires a separate reservation and extra charge. The hotel restaurant is very nice, reasonably priced and open late - we went for a late night snack and drinks and were happy, and it seemed quite popular and the menu seemed to have a good selection of warm meals. Breakfast was good standard hotel buffet with scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, yoghurt etc. Only minor issues - one of the two elevators was broken for two days, and since there were no stairs except a maze of emergency exits, it would be often full and we once we had to wait 10 minutes just to get two floors down for breakfast. The air conditioning unit in the room had no instructions and seemed to have a logic of its own, but luckily the window could be opened. Overall a very good hotel, nothing special but surely recommended. Lees meer

This is a super hotel- the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and pleasant. It had a modern flat screen tv and iradio which I loved. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. My husband loved the shower. We stopped in the bar for a drink on our return on both evenings of our stay and found it extremely pleasant. […] The hotel is a good 10 minute walk to the city centre (the sidewalks are all cobbled so beware ladies in heels!), but we found this quite pleasant given the location and surroundings of the hotel. Good base hotel, nice clean spacious room with the usual mod cons and big bathroom. Excellent and extremely helpful staff. 10 mins walk to city centre plus the metro just outside. Breakfast room and bar area a bit soul-less but no need to spend time there with the city such a short walk away
