Mantra Esplanade in Cairns

The room was spotless, plenty of towels etc but the bed was not comfy, it was super hard and was supposed to be a king bed, instead it was two singles pushed together, which made of a hard lump in the middle, the pillows were also hard and uncomfortable. I expected a better bed and linens for the price. They had nice soaps and amenities, great location, […] small balcony, over looking the lagoon in Cairns. Great Location. My hotel room was considered self contained so it was never serviced or cleaned, but I had no kitchen, it was just a regular hotel room. Odd. Lees meer

We had an amazing stay while in Cairns and would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to families - especially those with teens! The two bedroom option was perfect, entry door led to a portal with 2 doors that we could keep ajar so the kids could go back & forth into our suite that had a full kitchen - with convenience store around the corner & Woolworth's (grocery […] & household items) back on Abbott St. Walking distance to the great shops, restaurants, Lagoon, McDonald's (free wi-fi, little slow), 5 min walk to Reef Fleet Terminal to catch tour boats for snorkeling or diving. Only down points were: the early morning delivery trucks across Shields St. (just ask for a room facing another direction, but then you'd miss the parrots amassing in the trees!) and the pool & jacuzzi are not heated (kids used the sauna instead).... but with so much to do, we didn't feel it was missed anything. The hotel is centrally located in Cairns, and just less than 5 mins walk to the Esplanade, Night Market, Casino, Pier departing to the Great Barrier Reef, and other local attractions in the city. Restaurants and shopping malls are just a few steps away. Good location, good service, great rooms.

Great location and great view from our balcony. The evening ritual of the incredible fruit bats flying in to the trees across the street was a spectacular sight. The front desk help was reasonable, and probably a little above average, with some folks being more helpful and friendly than others - On the somewhat negative side, the silly policies of charging […] a daily fee to protect our valuables in the in-room safe, and for extra towels were annoying, to say the least. Great value for money, helpful staff, big rooms

Hey Everyone, My husband and I stayed in a city view hotel room and the view was pretty good we got to see the city and the esplanade and some of the ocean. The rooms are not bad for the location and price we paid. Its walking distance from everything.Rooms were clean. I was very happy with the location of this hotel, it closes to everything: shops, restaurants, supermarket, night market and reef terminal etc. We stayed in a 2 bed room apartment. The apartment was not extremely modern, but it was clean and confortable. All the facilities worked well, we found the washing machine was very useful, as we can wash the […] cloth after we went to a beach or a reef cruise. We had to use the hotel key card to operate the lift which I found quite safe for security reason; and we also had to use the key card to open the main door at the entrance of the hotel when we came back after 9.30 at night. Unfortunately we did not manage to visit the gym and spa at the hotel. The only down side I would think of is there was no room service during our 3 nights stay, not even for the towels or shower/shampoo gel, which I thought it was a pity for a 4 stars hotel. It was written in the hotel room that 'there will not be any room service unless the stay is longer than 8 days, then there will be a mid-term room service; otherwise you could pay $25 to $30 for a serice. All excellent - room, location, service and price

Overall this hotel is a good value for the money. The location is great and the lobby has a very nice feel. However, getting on the internet (which is not inexpensive) is VERY difficult and the hotel is not very helpful or supportive. My colleague and I both had to try multiple times to connect. Older than I expected, some ants in small room

Great value and excellent location. Both rooms were king bedded suites with washer/dryers and balconies. One of the rooms had been more recently upgraded than the other but both were comfortable. Stayed at Mantra Esplanade for four nights 5/10-5/14, we had reserved the hotel room but upon check in they gave us a one bedroom on the sixth floor in the corner, which was nice. The only drawbacks are the air conditioning didn't really work and after keeping the balcony doors open for about an hour we had a little lizard friend come in to visit. No […] big deal. Three minutes from the marina to catch reef tours. Plenty of good restaurant options (Rattle n Hum, Bellocale) nearby. Overall a good experience on our 3 week tour of the country. Lees meer

I arrived at the Mantra Esplanade late in the evening after a flight from Brisbane. Check in staff were very pleasant and my hotel room reservation was upgraded to a one bedroom unit on the fifth level of the hotel. The apartment was self-contained and well equipped for limited cooking in an adequate sized kitchen. The apartment was spacious with a […] king sized bed. Living room furniture was dated and needed to be replaced. Patio furniture was basic and the chairs were very hard and not comfortable. The Mantra Esplanade is conveniently located to restaurants, the night markets and food court. It is surrounded by numerous tourist offices, all offerering tours and cruises to all the attractions of the area. There is an extensive supermarket in the street at the rear of the complex. Great Hotel. Great value for Queenstown, which can be very expensive. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from center of town, but the grounds are beautiful and they have laundry and beautiful gardens plus a private spa for guest. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the Mantra Esplanade for 6 nights. The location of the hotel is wonderful for access to the marina, the restaurants, shopping, and the main part of town. We were not aware when we booked the hotel that our rate did not include maid service for the whole week. We ended up sweeping, washing dishes, and cleaning the bathrooms ourselves during […] our stay. We also had to continually get towels from the pool area as our plans included snorkeling, swimming, and white water rafting. Internet was also terribly expensive - $25 per day. However, the room size was great and the hotel location was great. Just be forewarned about the maid service if that is important to you. Lees meer

Great location off of the beach and fleet terminals, the hotel is a bit odd in that it is more of a longstay hotel and does not offer any housekeeping services.

初オーストラリアの最初の滞在先でした。早朝到着でもスーツケースは預かって頂けます。中心地なのでどこに行くにも徒歩でＯＫ。もちろん郊外はムリですが・・・。マリーナも近く、また公衆？のプールも目の前です。フロントの方も皆、対応が良いです。また機会があったら利用したいホテルです。

O Hotel está muito bem situado para quem quiser usufruir das actividades de Cairns. Para quem fizer o cruzeiro para ver a Great Barrier Reef, está a uma distância de menos de 5 minutos a pé do porto de onde partem as actividades. tuvimos un upgrade a suite así que estuvo genial

Es mas un apartamento que un hotel. Es ideal para contratar excursiones a la barrera de coral ya que esta muy cerca del puerto y de una gran piscina en el mar. Hay un jacuzzi en el jardin, bajo una pergola, pero el agua estaba fria. Al no ser propiamente un hotel, no nos hicieron la habitación en los 3 dias. 鳥の声や緑身近な程良いマントラ、受付も親切でオプショナルも２４時間手配大きすぎないのが落ち着きます。

早朝に到着したのでチェックインまで時間があり、近辺を散策しました。 まさにケアンズの真ん中にあるのでどこへ行くにも大変便利です。 チェックインも11時頃には部屋の準備ができたということで部屋へ入れました。 ２ベッドルームを予約しましたが、それぞれ部屋の広さも十分にあり快適に過ごせました。
