This is a nice little hotel. The price is good. The view of the lake was great. By outward appearances this place didn't look like much, but the log furniture and rustic decor made the rooms look pretty nice. "Good for the night"
Traveling through and booked this hotel because all hotels that were reasonalble in Kalispell were full. The hotel was OK but needed to be sprayed because there were some mosquitos in the room. The beds were comfortable. The only thing that was bothersome was the sign outside. Online it was advertised as "Americas Best Value" chain and when we were […] looking for the sign we missed it due to its size. I mean VERY SMALL size under the Port Polson Sign which was huge and lit up. We were traveling late and again the sign was too small. Location great, our view was incredible. Staff helpful. Rooms clean, not fancy. TV did not work very well. Continental breakfast was poor, we went somewhere else.

Would like to have had some kind of motel security or be able to contact someone who could have stopped the all night party next to us. Very rough night with no sleep.
The hotel itself is nothing to write home about, but the view is unbelievable and for that I give it a 4. Bring your own pillows - and plan to marvel at the beauty of the lake and mountains.

"Port of Polson, Polson, MT"
Okay value for the money in high season BUT did not receive full info on location of hotel rooms when booking, see comments below.
"Small things"
The motel was clean and in a good location for travel into Glacier Park. Downsides were lack of replacement of coffee, bath soap, no dish soap,hot-tub not warm, circuit breaker tripped and no power to microwave or coffee maker. I may stay again, but only with the "small things" addressed.
"Noisy, smoky, no air"
Our room was steps away from the main HWY which was noisy. The room was non-smoking but reeked of smoke and had no air conditioning. Bed was old and horrible. View from rooms was fabulous.

"The Port Polson Inn in Polson, MT is GREAT!"
We were greeted immediately upon arrival which was early. Our room was waiting for us so we were able to check in at 11AM instead of 3PM. The motel and its managers were most accomodating; lovely rooms with a terrific view of Flathead Lake, MT. The location is ideal for whatever you wish to do while visiting the south Flathead Valley. "Port Polson Hotel - exactly where you need to be"
Hotel perfectly located in town. Great view of Lake. quiet very comfortable accomodations. Very clean and cozy rooms and very nice continental breakfast Value amazing compared to other area hotels. Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends.
