Marriott Baltimore Waterfront in Baltimore

We typically enjoy our stay at this hotel. The accomodations are comfortable. During this stay, however, we were woken up at 730 am by severe noises down the hall, possibly from the stairs. Noises of pipes/stairs/yelling. We thought the hotel was being evacuated due to the amount of noises. Unfortubately, the staff took over an hour to get back to […] us with an explanation. We had a late checkin and early wakeup--consequently no sleep. Staff was disinterested to help us given that we booked our stay with a third party (they gave us 30 dollars to use towards breakfast, which only covered it partially). Lees meer

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, however I wish they would have let me stay on a higher floor. The internet had some issues but it worked itself out.

the stay was gr8 the only problem was that there was supposed to be a bottle a wine in the room waiting for us but it was not there other than that i would highly reccomend

Convenient to all the Inner Harbor attractions and great hotels! We loved staying here. On the evasive side and believe me this was not a bother to us but may be to others and so I mention it... Thisis a large hotel and many conventioneers stay here. In the evenings, the lobby is generally buzzing with lots of people. But once in our room which was […] a harbor view, it was quiet and the view unmatched anywhere! Also, we had friends pick us up and drop us off at the hotel everyday. The front entrance is crowded and difficult to maneuver with a car. No place to park temporarily and if there I'd a function at the hotel you may have to wait in line to be dropped at the door. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel that we never used. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants. Convenient to water taxis and other transportation. ...for whatever reason we could not get a good night's sleep in this hotel. Maybe it was the thin door that allows you to hear ANYTHING going on in the hall or perhaps it was the uncomfortable bed. Otherwise, this place is top notch. Great location and excellent staff.

I have no complaints regarding the staff or cleanliness. The mattresses on the other hand are an entirely other matter - couldn't lie down in the bed for more than a couple hours without a horrible backache and I generally do not have back problems. Absolutely loved the location of the Waterfront Marriot. Check in and out was excellent. The room was very clean and quiet. The only turn off was when the housekeeper wanted to clean the room at 10:45 when check out wasn't until 12 noon and maintenance wanted.to change the filter at 11 when check out wasnt until noon. Other than that it was a great stay.

One cannot complain about the service in a hotel like this. However, there were a couple of things I found a little annoying and should easily be corrected. For instance, one would expect the business center to function flawlessly, but when entering I found the computers dirty and slow and there was something wrong with the connection to the printer. […] This should of course have been fixed right away, but I found nobody around and seemingly no interest in fixing this. I wanted, however, to check in to my flight and print the boarding pass, and that could be done through the flight check-in kiosk in the lobby, a great service. As usual with upper-end hotels, there is a surcharge for the small things usually included in not-so-fancy hotels and even motels. I do not fully understand the point of this kind of price strategy, but even if it is well thought out and reasonable - charging $13 for 24 hours of internet access certainly isn't. This is and continues to be my main problem with fancy hotels; I can afford the extra cost, but not the annoying fact that I'm over-charged for simple services in an already expensive room. Also, why would I need to enter my credit card every 24 hours to remain online; certainly there are better ways of doing this. But I really liked the hotel: the room was very nice as was the service, and the conference rooms were perfectly sufficient. Lees meer

Location, location, location! In my opinion, this hotel gives you the best views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor and surrounding area if you are on the upper floors (Be sure to spend the extra money and get a harbor view). Some of the side rooms in the segment of the hotel closest to pratt street are not as roomy as I would normally desire but the view […] makes up for the smaller space. The weekend brunch at the hotel was also a delightful spread with plenty of variety to fit the eating styles of everyone in our party. Valet and hotel service was excellent - made me feel like a valued customer. You can walk to everything at the Harbor - Science Museum, Aquarium, etc and also you are staying in Harbor East which has some of the best restaurants in Baltimore like Charleston, Lebanese Taverna and Chighale Lees meer

This hotel is a fantastic venue for large conferences. The proximity of the conference rooms to the lodging elevators made getting back and forth super easy. The staff service was top-notch in all departments Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the waterfront setting

Excellent stay! Great views and service. We'll stay there again..... The only downer of the stay was that they charge $26/night to park, or $40/night to valet park.

The hotel was nicer than I expected given the price compared to others in that location. It is located on a canal with a water taxi stop right in front of the door - very convenient. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful! My husband left his expensive sunglasses on the front desk at check in. We thought we had left them in the car and the […] valet was happy to go check the car. When she didn't find them she was concerned. The front desk took action and brought us the lost sunglasses immediately. Any requests we had were met with friendly faces & attitudes, and taken care of immediately. There was some sort of issue with the hotel's bar so it was closed. There were air vents everywhere - seems a flood of some sort occurred. The staff was up front about the inconvenience and did everything to not allow this to disturb their guests. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I am going for a weekend getaway to Baltimore! Lees meer

Fantastic hotel, harbor view rooms give excellent view of city. Close to everything, shopping and dining. Highly recommend

If I wasn't using my two free nights for my stay at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront, I wouldn't pay that money for it, even after booking through hotels.com. The walls are exteremly then, the door doesn't go all the way to the floor, so you hear EVERYTHING that is going on around you. The materress was extremely uncomfortable, You can tell it has […] been around for a while. There was a hump in the middle and several dips. We had made two reservayions, July 4-5, July 5-6. The front desk assured us that we wouldn't have any problem with remaining in the same room for the duration of our stay. Well we left out on the morning of July 5 to go out, We returned that night to find that our keys didn't work in the door. We go down to the front desk and speak with someone who tells us that the hotel checked us and we had to check back in. She wasn't very understanding of what we were tellingher that had been explained to us. It was a major headache. we finally get into our room and we started to panic because our belongings weren't in the corner where we left them. They moved them into the closest. We weren't too pleased with them touching our stuff. We have stayed at other hotels, that are half the price, but MUCH MUCH better. I will never stay here again,.. Nor do I reccomend it. The only thing you are paying for is for being in the middle of Downtown Baltimore and walking distance to the Inner Harbor. Lees meer

everything at the hotel was ok. i expected more for the price. our room was on the 6th floor facing the parking garage. we had no fridge in our room. there was no info guides about the area in our room and we had to ask for this at the front desk. the noise from the hallway went threw the door and kept us awake until after midnight. the staff was very […] friendly. We had ordered a fridge to be sent to the room to keep the milk for my baby's bottle cold. We were told it would be sent right up and that we could leave. We left a note and a $5 tip to put the milk in the fridge. When we got back, the note was gone, as was the tip and the milk was still on the counter. We called the front desk, and they gave us a new […] bottle of milk, but it was still a bad experience, especially after they gave us two double beds instead of a king. Lees meer

we had to pay 25.00 to park

The hotel's location is great within walking distance of many area attractions and a water taxi stop just outside the door. Rooms were comfortable and up to Marriott standards. Service was excellent. Good value for the price.

Initially we were given a room with two queen size beds instead of a single king size bed, but this was fixed immediately and we were upgraded to a harbor view room on the top level. Amazing view, comfortable amenities. Room service was expensive but we enjoyed splurging on ourselves for once.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Was in walking distance to the Aquarium and all of the restuarants.

the view was great. we were on the 20th floor. nice clean and comfortable. we will stay again.

Close to the harbor with water taxi exit right outside hotel altough walk not very far to activities and action. Very clean, comfortable room, Staff very friendly and helpful especially if it is your first time in the area.
