Prima, net hotel in rustige buurt, zwembad valt tegen en evenals fitnesscentrum erg beperkte openingstijden. Bar mag meer producten op kaart zetten.

Mooie moderne hotelkamer. Ontbijt was goed. Hotelpersoneel was erg behulpzaam: op de dag van vertrek moesten we eerder weg dan dat het ontbijt mogelijk was. Speciaal voor ons werd de ontbijtzaal geopend en konden we weliswaar niet uitgebreid, maar toch wat eten. Ligging van het hotel is super. Vijf minuten lopen vanaf Puerta del Sol, met een pleintje voor de deur. Klein minpuntje: ondanks de rolluiken hoor je wel goed wat er op straat gebeurt. Zou er zelf wel weer heengaan.

Ligging.
Regente ligt in het centrum van Madrid, op loopafstand van Convent de las Descalzas Reales en Puerta del Sol. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Plaza Mayor en Plaza de Espana.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in Madrid heeft een koffiegelegenheid en een bar/lounge.In alle openbare ruimtes is snel internet (draadloos en via de kabel) beschikbaar (tegen betaling). Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over bedrijfsvoorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een secretariaat. Bij de Puerta del Sol, het hart van Madrid, staat het standbeeld van de symbolische beer van Madrid en het sherryteken Tio Pepe. De grote Plaza Mayor, ten westen, was ooit de plaats van inquisities en terechtstellingen, maar wordt nu meestal bezocht om de cafés en terrassen.

"Centraal gelegen"
Goed verzorgd hotel, zéér centraal gelegen. Wat kleine ontbijtzaal, zodat soms gewacht moet worden. Attent en behulpzaam personeel.

Excellent location and good inexpensive hotel for those who want to find a place close to night life area and shopping street Gran Via. Many restaurants, tapas bars close by.
"Poor service in this hotel"
Our family stayed in this hotel for totally 5 nights. Nothing is good except the location which is close to the Sol station and all the local shopping area. The staffs there were not helpful at all especially the young lady and the old guy in the front desk. Their attitude are not friendly, rude and impatient all the time. Everything have to paid there […] even the safebox inside the room and we have to rent the safebox in our own room. No wifi, have to pay 6 euro in order to use the gym, etc.. Lees meer
"Loud and horrible WIFI"
We had a room near the the staircase and it was loud. The walls are very thin and we could hear everything from people going up and down the stairs. We could also hear all the street noise and thankfully we weren't facing the main street, Gran Via. Sleeping in this hotel is a serious problem and I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The staff is very […] friendly, but we speak Spanish so I'm not sure how it would be for English only speakers. The WIFI is HORRIBLE. You have to pay for WIFI and it kicks you off every few minutes so it's almost not worth it to pay and just find a cafe with a better connection. There are tons in Madrid, thankfully. Lees meer

"Great Location. Rude Staff."
My wife and I stayed at Regente for a night. The location is prefect, with an easy walk to the Royal Palace, the Cathedral and plenty of bars and shopping locations on Gran Via. The staff however leave much room for improvement. Generally curt and sometime rude. We purchased internet access for 24 hours. It wouldn't work on one of our laptops. "HOTEL REGENTE - perfect location"
The best thing about the Hotel Regente was the excellent location, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars within just a few strides. The room was comfortable, plenty of space and nice bathroom. Very nice to be able to open the window fully! During our stay the hotel was being refurbished, which meant some dust/debris on the reception floor, and some noise […] until fairly late on one of the nights, but it didn't really bother us. Was awoken late at night by other people walking to their rooms but that's not the fault of the hotel, but the fault of selfish, thoughtless people. Centrally situated, a two minute walk from two metro stations.......shops restuarants and attractions nearby. Clean , comfortable, daily room service and linen change.....only criticism ...hot water unavailable overnight.
The hotel is in a great location on Gran Via. It is half a block from 2 metro stops, and most of the tourist sites are well within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially Paco.

"Very nice hotel in great location"
The staff at Regente were very helpful and accommodating. This hotel is in a wonderful location, close to sightseeing, museums, shopping, and good food. It was in the midst of some nightlife but still provided a quiet place to sleep.

"Bad service, dirty bathroom, ancient TV"
The only good thing going for this hotel was great location, it was right on gran via. they also gave us a street facing room and im not sure if this is because of the email i sent before our arrival as they didnt acknowledge it. everything else not so good - the front desk was not friendly at all. just gave us the key and no warm welcome or intro about […] the hotel facilities or about the city as it was our first time in spain. the toilet was also filthy, when i flipped the toilet seat there was dried up "human waste" under it... the TV was also ancient it looked like it was born in the 70's. but im not totally disappointed. i know i didnt pay a fortune so why expect a perfect hotel. just pointing out some items they might consider for improvement. on another note, madrid was splendid and lovely. my next favorite city in spain next to granada. The hotel has a great location but the room needs to be remodeled and it is very small.

Location was great-easy walking distance to many attractions. Staff very friendly. Our taxi ride to hotel had gotten mixed up. One of the staff went up to main street to assist us in flagging down taxi.

nära till det mesta, 5 min från Madrids tapas-distrikt, 1 min till Metron.

Sijainti loistava, huoneet siistejä. Hotellin ilmastointi ei jäähdyttänyt ja patterit olivat kuumat, heillä oli vielä ilmeisesti talvi. Siksi varsinkin yöllä oli tuskastuttavan kuuma.Ensi kuun alusta tilanne on todennäköisesti toinen kunhan kesäaika alkaa. Kun ikkunaa piti auki, kuului lukemattomien hälytysajoneuvojen ulinat pitkin yötä. Ravintolat […] menevät jo puolilta öin kiinni, joten aamuyön öirisijöitä ei ollut. Englannilla pärjää, vaikka henkilökuntakaan ei sitä oikein osaa; kaikki kuitenkin hoituu. Eipä oikein kukaan muukaan Madridissa osaa englantia... Henkilökunnasta ei mitään valittamista.Aamiaista emme syöneet hotellissa vaan läheisessä Café&Té:ssä. Ilmastoinnista tulee ainoa miinus tälle hotellille. Lees meer
Perfekt beliggenhed! Stand af værelse ok, men slidt - udsigt til lille lukket gård, hvorfor der ikke kunne ses dagslys fra værelset. Meget dårlig service fra reception personale - måtte ha fat i service manager, da de ikke kunne finde vores resevation, som også var betalt inden besøg.

Las zonas comunes han mejorado mucho, el hall con la nueva reforma ha quedado un poco incomodo, pero mas atractivo. Las habitaciones siguen siendo bastante penosas, especialmente las camas y los pocos servicios que tiene. El personal de recepción, desde mi punto de vista, es un tanto parco en palabras, poco resolutivo, y bastante serio, cualquier pregunta […] recibe un si o un no pero sin ayuda. "Hotel Regente: muy buena ubicación"
La mayor ventaja de este hotel es su ubicación, a metros de la Gran Vía y de las estaciones del Metro. Con respecto a la habitación, la que me tocó a mí era pequeña, pero limpia y nada ruidosa. No sé cómo serán las habitaciones con vista a la Gran Vía. Para destacar, como mencioné antes: su ubicación.

"Good middleclass hotel"
Not much to say! Nice location, okey rooms, good cleaning and tidy rooms. Nice elevator, central location, rooms looks okey, not brand new and don't look worn down either. Behind a shopping center, no noisy nightclubs anywhere.

deberían especificar que el internet no es gratuito ya que al hacer la reserva se sobreentiende que es gratuito y al llegar a hotel quieren cobrar, adémas al hacer la reserva dice aire acondicionado y ya en el hotel no me permitieron el mando del aparato y el personal de una manera grosera argumentaba que no era necesario, en nigun hotel me había pasado […] que el personal decidiera si yo necesitaba o no el aire acondicionado, finalmente cuando estuve a punto de cancelar me dieron el mando de mala manera, el desayuno se sirve muy tarde 10:30 a.m., finalmente al hacer mi checkout y solicitar que me pidieran un Taxi salio alguien de su pesonal a encaminarme hasta la esquina para esperar en la avenida a que un taxi se detuviera, pesimo servicio, en otras ocasiones me he ospedado por un precio muy similar y en una ubicación muy centrica en el Hotel Ganivet en el que me han dado internet gratis, desayuno desde las 7:00 a.m., clima desde entrar a la habitación esta encendido, moviliario de las habitaciones mucho mejor, y personal muy amable, espero que se publiqué por que me llevé unamuy mala experiencia en el Regente. "Regente, Madrid - Bra läge"
Bra läge med gångavstånd till det mesta. Ganska små rum. Bra frukost men matsalen var för liten vilket medförde kö och väntetid om man inte kom tidigt. Tyvärr tar hotellet betalt för trådlöst internet.
