Goed motel, op loopafstand van het meer. Originele inrichting van de kamer. Buitenkant motel behoeft renovatie. Vriendelijke service, rustige omgeving.

Blue Lake at the Heavenly Village ligt in South Lake Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, dicht bij Heavenly Ski Resort. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Zephyr Cove Beach.

Blue Lake at the Heavenly Village heeft een spabad en een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad. Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een wasserij, een safeloket bij de receptie en airconditioning in openbare ruimtes. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren.

"Matig"
Kamer ruim van tevoren geboekt voor twee dagen maar na de eerste dag moesten wij de kamer uit ivm overboeking. Een excuus kon er nauwelijks af. Toen we thuis kwamen waren al onze spullen uit de kamer verwijderd (ook al onze spullen in de koelkast die waren, zoals ons later werd meegedeeld, weggegooid. Goed Hotel ligt een steen worp van de hoofdstraat van Heavenly . Daar zijn genoeg eet gelegenheden en winkeltjes te vinden en ook een kabelbaan .

"My experience at Blue Lake Inn"
My experience with Bkue Lake Inn was not that very good especially because the refrigerator in the room was noisy and the bed sheets/blanket were not very good. We were not told if the AC/heater worked as it looked a bit old we didn't even try to switch it on, alternatively we used a heater that was in the room. This small hotel in my humble opinion […] needs revampimg despite being very clean. I may stay there again only if I don't find anywhere to stay. "Decent hotel"
Room was decent. Had a microwave and good size fridge which was convenient since we had two small children. Breakfast was just so, so basically donuts and oatmeal. Carpet was rather dirty. Got a good price through hotel.com but probably wouldn't stay here again.
"Sad Conditions"
The condition of the motel inside and out is rough. It looks like the owners have given up and are just waiting for someone to come along and buy them out. The only thing that looked good was the sign out front.
"Blue lake Inn"
The room was very old and dated. Many bandaid style repairs. Pillows were as fluffy as a sheet of paper and the bed could have used blankets. We would not stay at this inn again or recommend it to anyone.

"Very nice"
I really like to stay at this hotel. It's pet friendly and the rooms are really clean. I was used to stay here before I got my pet... before the hotel was not pet friendly. I'm glad that now they allow pets in some rooms. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect... just 2 blocks from the gondola. They really care about the guests because the […] room is very clean and they also have microwave and refrigerator in all rooms. I really recommend this hotel for people that don't want to spend too much, but likes to be treated well. Lees meer

"Great location"
This hotel is walking distance to the casinos which was great! It was comfortable, but definitely "bare bones" - perfect for a place to crash for a night or two if all you plan to do is sleep then be on your way :-). The parking lot seemed small for the number of rooms, though, but that could have been impacted by the snow.
The sheets hadhair from other guests, they were not clean, i will never stay there again.
"Blue Lake - Not all that it's cracked up to be"
Check in was easy; the room was clean. The experience went down from there. We had 1st floor rooms. The carpet was not padded so we discovered by tripping that the floor underneath was very bumpy. Renovations or should I say an attempt at renovations in the rooms were poor; we knew where every repair was made. Our tub was chipped and rusting on the […] lip. The outside sidewalks were barely navigatable; a poor attempt at cleaing ice/snow. The hottub was very difficult to access. The location is prime; I would not recommend staying there to anyone until the owners decide to put some serious money and effort into the place. If you consider staying there, I suggest that you don't book ahead and check out a couple of rooms before you decide. I believe the other side of the hotel is pet friendly so don't venture over there (west side). I hate to write a review like this, but it is what it is. Lees meer
"Location!"
If you're gonna be in South Tahoe for one night, this is a great place to stay, it's close to all the fun, casinos, clubs, bars, ski/board shops, and literally across the street from the Heavenly gondola. It's not some fancy honeymoon place or resort, but for the price, I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Pros: near (not at) Heavenly Village. Reasonably clean. Cons: Lots of signs of disrepair. No bathroom fan, no clear white curtain to let in light but maintain some privacy. "Great little hotel for the price!"
I tfound Blue Lake at Heavenly to be a great little hotel for the price. It was within walking distance of Harvey's for dinner and the gondola for skiing. It all the little amenities I need: hairdryer, free wifi, TV, frig, and microwave...it even had samples of hair mousse! Sort of along the caliber of Motel 6, but much better! Located within the walking distance to the lifts to Heavenly Ski Resort, restaurants, shops and movies. The was a fridge and a microwave in the room which was nice. Rooms themselves are not in the best condition, OK if you need a room to spend a night only, if are out during the day.
"Great for a Heavenly trip"
My goal was to find well-priced rooms within walking distance of Heavenly. I've stayed at another of the many motels in this area and picked this one based on other reviews, and distance from the gondola (it's one block away from the village). "Dog-friendly, very close to gondola at heavenly"
This hotel became dog-friendly recently and that's really nice. The location is great and the room is clean. Staff is not very friendly, but we only needed them for check-in.
"Good location but very small rooms"
Great location but pretty average amenities provided, very small room. Provided continental breakfast was pathetic. I would recommend if you stay here that you get a room with a kitchenette. Staff not too helpful.

"Good value, excellent location"
This is a motel. Don't expect a 5 star resort. The rooms were very clean, and the gonola for heavenly is literally across the street. Even has a hot tub and breakfast (which granted is oatmeal and doughnuts). Front staff isn't very friendly and the pillows were the worst, but for what we paid this was an excellent value. Its the perfect spot for trips to heavenly. Literally across the street from the gondola. Rooms are decent sized and well kept. Staff is very kind and accomodating. Continetal bfast is lacking but enough to get you going, coffee fruit oatmeal donuts. Go to red hut cafe for a real breakfast. "I guess it was worth the cost..."
I asked for some extra pillows each night I stayed, never got em. Their office window overlooks all rooms, it feels like they're watching you @_@. Convenient location...I guess it was worth the cost.

Really great price and location. Also great room service. Front Desk lady is helpful and philanthropic.

This is not just a 2* hotel, it is an excellent 2* hotel. The owner is very friendly. The hotel is well located (walking distance from Heavenly gondola and the casinos). The hotel has free wifi and breakfast. All this at a good reasonable price. What else do you need?

We really arent picky travelers. We can stay almost anywhere and this place was really not bad. Hotel staff was exceptionally nice as well.

"Inexpensive... for a reason. But good enough."
This hotel is inexpensive, but obviously there are reasons for that. It's definitely not upscale and while I was fine with the 'donut' continental breakfast, you may not be. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Otherwise, it's clean enough and in good enough shape.
"Terrible Service and Breakfast"
The staff should work at the DMV, they are not hotel trained nor do they ever smile. Also, the hotel breakfast is simply "donuts' and I think they're a day old. We did not enjoy our stay, better to stay at the MontBlu or another larger hotel.

"close to everything, reasonably priced"
inexpensive great place to stay, close to everything in town, a little out dated but clean. Pool and hot tub need to stay open later than 7:30 pm, thats when it nice to soak in the hot tub and look at the high mountain stars.

"Ample for the price"
The pros: Microwave, fridge, close to the casinos, shops and the water and they will give you a pass to go to the private beach which also has kayak rentals. The cons: The breakfast is literally donuts, apples, and instant oatmeal and the beds were a little too firm for my taste. I would stay here again, just probably bring my own breakfast.

Great staff, great location and price but unfortunately uncomfortable beds and dated decor.
