super mooi gelegen. mijn mening is dat er fietsen bij dit hotel,heel fijn zouden zijn.

Mijn plus punten,,, Ligging Hotel is prima, als je niet in de drukte wilt blijven.. Metro is 10 minuten lopen. Strand 5 minuten lopen. Mijn min punten, Schimmel tegen plafon in Douche. ( vocht ). Erg kleine kamers. Erg gehorig Geen Wifi op kamers.

Na een fijne ruime entree worden we verwelkomd door een gastvrije receptionist. De afhandeling verloopt correct en de kamer geeft uitzicht op de zee. We zijn aangenaam verrast door de ruime opzet van de kamer. We gaan eten in het restaurant en het eten is van zeer goede kwaliteit. Wij zijn dagen in Barcelona geweest en hebben overnacht in dit hotel. Het zag er op de plaatjes heel mooi uit en ook in werkelijkheid is het prachtig. Voor ons was het heel belangrijk om dichtbij het strand te zitten. Dit hotel ligt tegenover het strand, alleen moet je nog wel een klein stukje lopen (je kan niet rechtdoor oversteken). De metro zit […] op 10 min. lopen. Voor een aantal mensen een probleem (gelezen op internet), maar voor ons totaal niet. Ook de metroverbindingen in Barcelona zijn ontzettend goed. De kamer zijn ontzettend mooi, maar klein (wat voor ons totaal geen probleem was!!!). De douche was mooi en heel schoon. We hebben geen ontbijtbuffet gedaan, maar gewoon een ontbijtje besteld. Ook dit was goed. Was voor ons de slagroom op het toetjes was, is dat je na het uitchecken je bagage kan laten staan, gewoon naar het strand kan en daarna een overheerlijke douche kan nemen bij de sauna's. I got the room VERY cheap and did not know what to expect. But what an amazing surprise! Beautiful and modern Hotel just near the beach! Great bed, nice wooden floor, beautiful marble bathroom, friendly staff. The location is quIte far from the centre of the city (10 minutes walk, 20 min subway) and the shower was warm and cold every 5 sec, but I could […] live with that. Hotel locates near to the convention center less than 10 minutes by walk. It was quite convenient. You can eat out at the mall called near to the convention center where has many kinds of cuisine. Staffs of the hotel were very kind supportive. Breakfast was not bad, but pity that only one staff works in the morning. You've gotta rush to get coffee cups […] before they ran out. There was a gym but working time (08:00 - 20:00) did not meet my schedule. I've run the jogging course along the coast of the Mediterranean sea. Lees meer

We were very happy to visit Maritim Hotel. Service hospitality were in topclass. Thankyou for a pleasent stay. We will be back.

Great Hotel

Hotel was about 10min walk from nearest metro station and about 15min on that to the city centre. Beach front was just across the main road and you could hire beach towels. Room was bit small but really clean and staff were friendly and spoke good english. The area was really safe even at night as it was a residential area with a few bars and restaurants […] closeby. very nice hotel, close to the beach, not far from the city center, the room is very nice, clean, use wear of the room is not noticable.

Not recommended and the sevice was one of the worst i experienced actually. We came early and needed to shower and a rest but they couldn't give us a spare room until 3 O'clock! The next morning we orderd roomservice but we didn't get yogurt and water for the tea as we had orderd! And there was no iron in the room, and if we should have orderd ironing […] it would take two days!!! Other things that was bad: They didn't change the sheets the first day, The key didn't work serveral times, no water/minibar in the room, broken electric contacts. Lees meer

This hotel is a stones throw away from the stunning beach of Barcelona and a short taxi ride from the very nice port area of the city. The hotel is very well maintained and the service could not have been any better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be near the beach of Barcelona it is ideal.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel considering the amount we paid and the reviews we read about similar hotels. Firstly, there was the check-in process. It took well over 30 mins to check-in 5 people, and the receptionist was rather cold and unhelpful. Day 2 - We asked at reception if they knew where we could find watersports. Their reply […] was that they never heard of such a thing. I even asked in Spanish, to which their reply was to "try Olympic Village" - 1 hour walk away. We went to a tourist office and found watersports 5 mins away from the hotel. Day 3 - We wanted to get to Port Aventura so we bought the tickets in reception the night before. We asked the receptionist how to get there. He said: 1) To get a metro to the train station 2) To board a train to Valencia from there 3) That trains leave every 15 mins. Problems: 1) We had to get three transfers to get to the train station he sent us to. 2) Trains from this station leave once every 4 hours 3) The trains from there do not go near Port Aventura 4) We went to the correct station to discover that after 4 hours of tralling around the city, we wouldn't get to Port Aventura until 4pm. We went back to the hotel after deciding to go the next day. We went to the same receptionist, explained to him his inadequacies - to which his reply was a simple "ok". He seemed completely unconcerned by the fact that he had wasted a day of our holidays. Understandably, we kept our distance from Reception until our last day - when we required a taxi to the bus station for 5 people. We asked reception to book us a taxi suitable for seating 5, with suitcases. They booked us 2 ordinary taxis, meaning we had to pay double the price. Abysmal service in summary. The Sauna and Steam room are about 6 square metres in size and cost €5 per day. The only positive for this hotel was the cleaning, very comprehensive & thorough. I have stayed in over 30 hotels, with this one being by far the worst. I would rate it as a 2 star h Lees meer

Somehow from the hotels.com site I had the impression this GBB hotel was right on the beach - i.e. walk out the front door to the beach but it was actually across a somewhat major hectic highway. You had to walk a few blocks to get across it. The two rooms we booked which were okay - spacious and clean, but our shower drain backed up every time we used […] and it and they sent someone up to look into it but not sure what they did because it didn't help. Coffee service was good - great coffee in Europe - I miss it already - and staff were good, excellent English. If you have other beachfront options and that is what you're after I'd say pass on this hotel... Lees meer

I stayed in Barcelona for one and a half day and it was key that I was located near the beach. Not only was it a few blocks from the beach but it was a quick bus ride or a short cab ride to Olympic Village. One thing I didn't like about the hotel was the mold growing above my shower head. Nice hotel. Very attractive and clean. There don't appear to be any beachfront hotels but this one is right across the street from the beach. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay here. There was some outside noise at night but it did not disturb our sleep.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very close to a huge mall for shopping, eating, and walking around. We really enjoyed walking along the beach which was just across the street. The eateries along the walking route were very good. The paella was a little expensive, but quite satisfying. We felt safe walking in the evenings as well. This hotel is located just a 1 minute walk to the beach, which was very nice. There are several places to eat within a 10 minute walking radius as well as a few markets. The metro station was about 10 minutes away as well. My wife and I loved staying here because the restaurants around were authentic Spanish places with not many tourists. Its a bit […] far from the center of Barcelona, but it was a nice getaway. So if you're looking to participate in all of the regular tourist attractions, you may want to stay closer to the center of town so you don't have to take the metro. I took my girlfriend to Barcelona for her 24th Birthday. She loves the beach so I wanted to have both easy access to a beach and the city. This hotel was perfect! Its literally on the beach front, hense the name. 3 min walk to the local metro and 5 stops into Las Ramblas. Absolutely ideal. The beach, 20 seconds walk from the hotel, across the road (which […] is sunk underground so no noise) and there lies a beautiful little beach with a couple of bars, etc. Fantastic. The hotel was superbly clean and the staff bent over backwards on requests. The room was ideal. Not huge and the bed wasn't impressive, but the en-suite bathroom was! Huge marbel shower, brilliant. We had a few drinks in the new W hotel, 26th bar which is the other side of the city, only 20euros for a cab back. But the metro runs until 2:30. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially if they want the sun and beach during the day, and the nightlife of the city by night. Extremely good value. Barcelona is a fantastic city, absolutely buzzing. But I had my wallet pick-pocketed on the tube and my bag stolen on Las Ramblas. My fault completely, do not take your hand and eyes off of your possessions for a split second. ENJOY! Lees meer

The hotel is modern, friendly and convinient. The rooms are small and there is practicaly no storage but it is enough for one person, may not so for 2. There are larger rooms in the Hotel but I have not sen them.

A very welcoming helpful and clean hotel, Located 1 min from beach, 5 min walk from the diagonal mar shopping centre. 5 mins cab from Port Olympic and 15 mins from the City centre. Would recommend without reservation.

Nothing special but it gives you all you need. Good value for the money

Spent 5 nights here with my partner. Room was small but perfectly adequate - clean with comfortable beds. Staff were English speaking and helpful. Some people have complained about traffic noise but we were right over the road and never had a problem (rooms have AC so windows can stay shut). Local area is very pleasant, with a cafe round the back, a […] park across the road and a large shopping centre with supermarket about half a mile away. Located on the coastal road but the beaches arent really great round there. Its 5-10mins walk from Selva de Mar station on the excellent Barcelona Metro system - from which its less than 15mins to La Rambla (Jaume I Station). We did try walking it once but its further than you think (Maybe an hour or more). All said we had a great time here. Great value for money and nice and peaceful if you dont mind being a bit of a way out of town, but for those wanting the atmosphere and buzz of the city you are probably better off spending the extra money to be in the centre. I will start off with the best parts about the hotel. The front desk was helpful and spoke English. The location was great if you only intend to go to the beach. If you are looking for only spending time at the beach, it is a merely across the street from the hotel. The location relative to everything else is horrible. It is several blocks to the nearest […] metro station and the best way to get into the tourist part of town is to take a cab, which gets pricey if you stay there too long. The hotel only has a few decent restaurants nearby and the nearest grocery store was 4 blocks away. I suggest finding a nearby one so you can stock your room with water, I found the tap water to be below my standards. The room was horribly disappointing. The pictures were very deceiving in the respect that they painted a picture of a spacious room with a great view. My room faced the side of another building. The walls were thin so road noise and other guests could be heard. The maids were also unforgiving to those suffering from hangovers in the manner that they would constantly bash the vacuum cleaner against the wall in adjacent rooms. The rooms were very cramped. My bed took the majority of the space with little extra movement possible. There is no refridgerator or mini bar in the room. There is also no small safe in the room (something I have come to expect from 4 star hotels). If you have passports or valuables you wish to lock up you must do so at the front desk. There is also a very tiny closet that can hold at most 4 shirts. The beds were quite possibly the worst part of the experience. I could feel the spring coils in the mattress and the blankets were found to be rather itchy. The pillows were also prone to becoming as flat as a pancake giving your head little support. I did not have a single night of decent sleep. Sometimes I found myself tossing and turning until the early hours of the morning, ruining the next day's plans. Beside the awkward location, the room is just far from expectation. Cheap mattress, cheap pillow, cheap blanket (I've thought I'd be paying attention on a blanket). It's so cheap the mattress is worse than those sofa bed's. It brakes my back. And the pillow was awful. Every morning I woke up with back pain and neck pain. A nice hotel, qiuet neighborhood, closer to the beach than the Hilton.Very friendly staff. Will stay there again.

I absolutely love the hotel. Great location, near the beach. With the exception of small rooms, I would recommend this hotel to any couples or single travelers. Great gym!

Although the hotel is away from the main part of barcelona , this is exactly what we were looking for The hotel was very clean with a lovely sauna and steam room and complimentary water . Food in the restaurant is basic but good . The area around the hotel was quiet but plenty of nice restaurants and a good shopping centre nearby . Rooms were very small but clean and cute, good for one person, food was standard. Good location, right across the street from the beach, and about a 10 euro taxi ride to Las Ramblas and the bars.

this hotel was close to the beach and the diagonal mar shopping centre and tourist bus route(only during the summer months). there was complimentary mineral water supplied. we did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment. some staff had poor English so communication was tough and i had asked for a travel cot but this was not provided. there was no bath […] in the room but the shower was very good and the toiletries were excellent. the rooms were quite small and the bed was just comfortable not luxury. i would recommend this hotel due to its location and cleanliness. When my friend and I checked into this hotel we were pleasantly surprised, because for what we paid we got a great hotel. You basically walk across the street to the beach (which was awesome). Its about a 5 minute walk to the subway station, which can get you pretty much anywhere...just keep in mind that the last subways are around 11:30pm or midnight, […] and after that you'll have to shell out a fair amount to get a taxi back (and when you take a taxi, give both the hotel name and the street address, because apparently it is quite easy to get the street address mixed up with another place in Barcelona). Only con about the location: not a large number of places to eat around there. Hotel itself was simple but great. Had free internet access in the lobby too. The express breakfast in the lobby wasn't too expensive, and the coffee and pastries were delicious! Lees meer

Extremely clean...loved the hotel. Was traveling through Europe for a month and this room (comfort, cozy, price, location) spoiled me. It was hard for any other hotel to measure up to this one after my stay.

Fornøyd med oppholdet. Mye bra ting som lå i nærheten, som caféer, restauranter og shoppingsenteret DIagonal Mar (ca 600 m å gå).

Jätte mysigt hotell vid vattnet. Dock inte så mycket resturanger och sevärdeheter vid hotellet. Men mycket lätt att ta sig till city både med buss och tunnelbana. Rekomenderar starkt till den som åker till Barcelona för en lite lugnare vistelse.

El gimnasio cierra a las 5. La sauna de pago.

Vi var meget godt fornøyd med hotellet. Til den prisen fikk vi grei kvalitet, nært strand og metro inn til sentrum. Det var rolig om natta og rent og pent. Anbefales absolutt.
