Prima, net hotel in rustige buurt, zwembad valt tegen en evenals fitnesscentrum erg beperkte openingstijden. Bar mag meer producten op kaart zetten.

Mooie moderne hotelkamer. Ontbijt was goed. Hotelpersoneel was erg behulpzaam: op de dag van vertrek moesten we eerder weg dan dat het ontbijt mogelijk was. Speciaal voor ons werd de ontbijtzaal geopend en konden we weliswaar niet uitgebreid, maar toch wat eten. Ligging van het hotel is super. Vijf minuten lopen vanaf Puerta del Sol, met een pleintje voor de deur. Klein minpuntje: ondanks de rolluiken hoor je wel goed wat er op straat gebeurt. Zou er zelf wel weer heengaan.

Het hotel ligt vlakbij een metrostation (Tirso de Molina), Puerta del Sol en het Plaza Mayor. De kamer was niet groot, maar wel schoon en mooi ingericht. Alles zag er nog nieuw uit, en de gratis WiFi deed het ook prima in de kamer. Het ontbijt bestond uit brood (zelf toasten), croissants, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, mini-muffins, vier soorten sap, fruit, koffie (ook zonder cafeïne) en thee. Op de begane grond was bovendien de hele dag gratis sap, koffie en thee beschikbaar. We mochten ook na het uitchecken nog gebruik maken van de faciliteiten. De medewerkers van het hotel waren altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Ligging.
Confortel Suites Madrid ligt in Avenida America in Madrid, dicht bij National Auditorium of Music, Estadio Santigo Bernabéu en Las Ventas. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Lazaro Galdiano Museum en Museum of Natural Sciences.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in Madrid heeft een restaurant, een koffietentje/café en een bar/lounge.Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 4 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een technisch supportteam. Alle bedden hebben een donzen dekbed en donsdekens. Een kussenkeuzemenu is beschikbaar. Elke badkamer heeft een bad/douchecombinatie met een handdouche en make-up-/scheerspiegels.Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een haardroger en openslaande ramen. Daarnaast wordt 's avonds een turndownservice geboden en is een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Goed, op paar kleine puntjes na"
Ik vond het een fijn hotel. Kamers zijn niet erg ruim, maar genoeg ruimte voor ons verblijf van 2 nachten. Goede locatie ook tussen het centrum en het vliegveld in. Op minimale afstand van de metro, dus je bent in 20 minuutjes op Puerta del Sol. Service was prima, mochten tassen nog even daar laten na al te hebben uitgechecked, gratis flesjes water, […] internet (wat een enkele keer weg viel op de kamer) en goed ontbijt voor 5 euro pp. Ik had wel 2 minpuntjes, de verwarming leek het niet helemaal goed te doen waardoor het erg koud was op de kamer (wij zaten er in de winter). Prim desgn hotel. Schoon en netjes. Leuke kamers. Locatie is prima. Rustige buurt naast het metrostation. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is prima. In de buurt heb je ook lekkere eettentjes. Als je geen tijd/zin hebt om naar het centrum te gaan kan je in de buurt eten. Personeel was erg vrindelijk en behulpzaam. Absolute aanrader.

Het hotel is erg modern, in een rustige wijk en vlakbij een metrostation. De kamer was netjes en goed verzorgd (water gratis in de minbar). Ook het ontbijtbuffet was erg goed; scrambled eggs op aanvraag.

Very comfortable rooms and very peaceful location. Away from the overcrowded city center, yet just tem minutes from the heart of the city. The breakfast and the overall experience was very good. Last but not the least, the price was quite reasonable.

My family and our tons of luggage spent three days here in Madrid before going to a resort on the Costa del Sol for a week. The staff were very accommodating in spite of our limited Spanish abilities. They allowed us in the room around 10 am as our flight arrived in the early morning thus giving us a day to explore. Confortel really impressed me with how clean and new everything was. It appears to have been recently renovated and everything from outside the hotel to inside the bathroom is pristine. I highly recommend it, for all types of travels, and I would definitely stay here again.

We chose the hotel mainly for its location (near a metro) and for the free in-room wireless internet. It was located close to a metro stop which was nice but the internet was pretty poor. It kept kicking us off about every 5-10 minutes. The hotel was just OK. The pictures make it look new and modern but it was really kind of dark and mid-grade. very nice hotel, clean and new- 50 meters from the subway station- ~25 minutes from city center. located in a nice neighborhood (with nothing spacial to see). the staff was very nice and helping. the free wifi and bottled water was a nice treat.
"Fairly priced - you pay for what you get"
The hotel was fine for our needs. It was about 20-30 minutes from the city centre and from Atocha station (if you are planning any connections to the south, seville or barcelona by train), and 2 to 3 subway lines depending on your choice of route. Being out of the city was a bit of a hassle, but we slept pretty well. We had a Queen bed room. It was […] fairly small, but seemingly normal by European standards. No full length mirror (FYI ladies). The hotel has had a makeover, but its clearly a little sloppy. The new wallpaper was already peeling in our room. Our tub faucet know kept falling off. The bathroom sink is modern, but isnt really conducive to washing your face easily. We also had a minor annoyance when our wireless door key stopped working halfway through our stay. They said that the battery needed to be replaced, but they couldn't do it for several days. The desk staff had to come up to our room each time and open the door via computer override - kind of a hassle, but not really a bug deal for us. TIP: ask for a room as far away from the elevator as possible. We heard lots of people in the morning heading downstairs. Had we not been deep sleepers, probably would have been annoying as well. Although you might think that IKEA exploded when you walk in the Confortel Suites Madrid, there's nothing wrong with that in a value hotel. Everything was very clean and modern, and the free Wi-Fi and bottles of water were very appreciated. There's not a whole lot in the surrounding area except for some decent restaurants and other conveniences, but […] the proximity to the Metro (Alfonso XIII station) could not be beat. THE HOTEL WAS NICE AND LOCATED CLOSE TO METRO HOWEVER THE AIRCONDITIONING WAS NOT VERY GOOD IN THE ROOM AND IF THAT WERE TAKEN CARE OF I WOULD SAY I ENJOYED THE STAY BUT IT WAS NOT VERY COMFORTABLE ......AS IT GOT VERY WARM IN THE NIGHT.

the hotel is not in central madrid, but there was a metro station 2 blocks away making it easy to get into the city, if not a little long (25-30min). clean hotel, spacious by european standards and the free water in the mini-bar was nice. free wifi available in the rooms is always a plus.

"Superb accommodation for sight seeing in Madrid"
The hotel is very modern, clean and finished to a high standard. I got an excellent rate through hotels.com and was pleasantly surprised by what we found. It is missing a few of the little extra's like tea and coffee facilities in the room and a soap dish, but we weren't too fussed as it was too hot for coffee. Free water was supplied in the fridge, […] very comfortable bed, pillows etc, powerful hair dryer (not always found in hotels!) and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is also stumbling distance to the tube which is great when its so hot and you're tired from sight seeing! Its a convenient location on the tube lines to get to the airport and the centre of Madrid to the tourist attractions. The view from the hotel wasn't very interesting and there didn't seem to be much near the hotel, but we were there to see Madrid so this did not bother us at all! Breakfast as always is expensive in these hotels, but there is a McDonalds and corner shop nearby, and loads of places in the centre of town. Lees meer

"Off the track, not worth the money..."
Stayed here for four nights in May and havn't beeen pleased with the stay at all. Hotel is quite inconveniently located (though close to metro station). Neighbourhood lousy, view from room straight onto (vibrant) construction site. The personnel seems to be annoyed by nearly any inquiry (which is not uncommon at Madrid) and service was ok at max. We didn't have a suite, but the room was fine for a long weekend stay although a little small. Location is good being near the Metro and on the bus route, in a reasonably quiet area. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and you could request a cooked breakfast. Cogimos la suite y es espectacular una habitacion enorme con una cama gigante. Te regalan 6 botellas de agua y tienes wifi gratis en la habitacion.Lo recomiendo

El hotel es un poco flojillo para ser 4 estrellas, lo mejor es que tiene el metro cerquita. A las mañanas el servicio de limpieza es bastante ruidoso. Limpian bastante por encima, la verdad, no nos vaciaron la papelera del baño en los 3 días, pero bueno esto tampoco es tan importante. Las amenities son bastante escasas: 1 tubo de gel, otro de champu […] y un jaboncito de manos. No cogimos desayuno, pero justo en la acera de enfrente del hotel hay una panaderia que por 2,20€ te ponen un cafecito y bolleria. Lees meer

"Hotel confortel suites madrid"
Aunque la habitación era muy grande y nueva, para el hotel que es y lo que cuesta, me dejo algo que desear... Viajamos con un bebé de un año y medio y aunque nos pusieron cuna, era de ruedas (sin frenos) y no habia forma de que se quedara parada en un sitio..tuvimos que frenarla moviendo los muebles.. menuda juega el niño cuando vio que la cuna andaba...jejeje El […] baño fantástico nuevo, limpio con ducha y bañera, aunque cuando das la luz por la noche, al tener un cristal que da a la habitación, podias molestar al que duerme. Otro fallo eran las cortinas, aunque estaban las opacas, entraba mucha luz por los lados por la mañana y nos despertaba. Se echa de menos algun cajón mas o incluso más armario, teniendo tantos metros de habitación libres (21m +-)es una pena que falte espacio para guardar ropa etc. El desayuno, creo que eran muuuuchos euros persona, caro para lo que ofrecen, bueno, si vas a las 8:00 ni tan mal....pero si bajas a las 10 no hay casi nada (deberían cobrar la mitad, no?) . "bien situado"
muy importante para mi, al ir sin coche, es que se encuentra junto a una parada de metro. Con carácter general el hotel ofrece todo lo que se puede esperar, sin sorpresas ni agradables ni desagradables.
