Park Hotel Blub Berlin in Berlijn

Voor zaken was het oke maar ik zou het niet weer boeken. Ik voelde me niet echt veilig in deze omgeving aangezien ik alleen op pad was. Volgende keer kies ik toch een hotel wat in een betere buurt/in het centrum zit. De kamers en de service waren oke. Het buffet was s'avonds werd aangeboden vond ik niet lekker en erg weinig keuze.. Onlangs een weekend Berlijn geboekt bij parkhotel Blub. Uitstekend bevallen, zeer vriendelijk personeel en heel behulpzaam, goede ontbijtservice. Het ligt vlak bij een metrostation, en goede parkeerruimte. Een aanrader als je niet teveel wilt betalen. Je ligt iets buiten het centrum maar via de metro ben je er in 10 minuten. Net hotel. 5 minuten lopen naar de metro. Kamers waren aan de kleine kant, maar wel heel netjes. Lobby, bar en restaurant erg mooi en gezellig. Wij sliepen aan de straatkant, veel overlast van het verkeer. Eigenlijk kun je niet met het raam open slapen. Dat is wel jammer.

Fijn hotel voor verblijf van enkele dagen in Berlijn. Op goede loopafstand van de metro, maar ook een bus. Eetgelegenheden (pizzeria's) in de buurt, ook voor ontbijt bij leuk Turks zaakje. Mogelijk toeval, maar 'goedkoop geboekt' waren we ondergebracht op de bovenste etage met schuine voorgevel tgv het dak. Voorzien van klapramen, maar veel verkeerslawaai […] door grote drukke straat en daarom 's nachts de ramen dicht. Geen binnentuin en/of buitenterras om bijv. even te roken of zomaar te zitten; terras wat er was was vaak in gebruik als eetgelegenheid. Lees meer

Prima hotel. Iets buiten de stad, maar met U-bahn helemaal geen probleem om er te komen. Dit reisje doe je graag als je ziet wat je bespaart op de hotelkosten in vergelijk met hotelletjes in de stad. De kamers zijn prima, maar de bedden wat zacht. Niet erg comfortabel voor iemand met rugklachten.

Het hotel is net, schoon en dichtbij de U-bahn. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed.

Prima hotel vlak langs de ringweg en bij het openbaar vervoer. Goede parkeermogelijkheid en goede locatie om alle toeristische trekpleisters te bezoeken. Eten, service en bereidwilligheid om te helpen was goed. Tip: vraag een kamer aan de achterkant, de voorkant ligt langs een vrij drukke straatweg.

Goed en net hotel, dicht bij de ringweg in rustige buurt. Goed ontbijt en ruime 3 persoons kamer. Net buiten de milieuzone en loopafstand van de Metro die je direct naar het Centrum brengt. Met BVN (nederlandse TV)

Goed hotel, fijne kamer, U-Bahn halte dichtbij, maar de geluidsoverlast aan de straatkant is groot. Oordopjes meenemen is een must.

Het hotel was makkelijk te vinden en toen we aankwamen waren we 6 uur te vroeg, gelukkig konden we de bagage achterlaten en Berlijn vast gaan verkennen. Om half 2 ingechecked en de hotelkamer bekeken, deze was mooi schoon, de hotelkamer was verder niet heel bijzonder, maar goed genoeg om te slapen.

4 Dagen in Berlijn geweest. Prima hotel. Centrum goed te bereiken. Uitstekende Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding Gaan zeker nog eens terug !!!

This is a very nice, clean hotel. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is a bit expensive (though it looked nice) but there are plenty of places nearby where one can grab a sandwich. Very kind staffs. Good location for Air Port..

Big rooms, great hotel bar, friendly service ... just the sauna is a bit too pricey. Other then not being in the center, this is a great hotel if you need to be somewhere in the southern part of the city, good public transportation connections are available.

the room was too warm and there was no air conditioner, the only way to cool the room was opening the windows, but then it was too noisy.... pity...

we had a fantastic time,the hotel is brilliant,we had a little apartment with a little kitchen,the hotel is very clean has all comfort to offer.easy access to public transport(underground&bus) recommend to all who would like to have a great time&brilliant service for a small price!!! my next booking will be very soon!!

The hotel was about 10 minutes from central city, which isn't too bad at all with the ease of the train system they have. Our room was nice and clean, but at the same time it was extremely noisy and no air conditioning so we had to have the windows open. Not ideal.

Everything was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. The location was convenient for us because Shonefeld, the airport, had a bus that stopped right in front of the hotel. We also had to go to Tegel, which only took us 35 minutes to get to, with the U-bahn and the bus. The service was great, you have to pay for certain services, but they are […] there. We arrived at the hotel around 2130-2200, the receptionist assigned us a smoking room which it didn't have a pleasent smell even after we walked down the hallway. We complained that night and where told that the hotel was fully booked which later I discovered it was a lie. We got a new room early in the morning at around 0900. Apparently the room was […] empty the night we got there, but they decided to give us the room that I didn't sign up for instead. Some of the front desk personnel where surprised we got the room we had (don't know why). They also told us that the booking was subject to change. I can understand that part, but they should have giving us a non-smoking room as I had requested and it was confirmed. From smoking room to a non-smoking, there is a big difference. The new room was nicer and a lot bigger than the first one. We had enough room for three people (my husband, my daughter and myselft). Overall, the hotel was nice, but I am still pretty unhappy that I had to packed all my staff again the next day and change rooms. Hotel needs to provide better room service. Lees meer

Lovely hotel for a brilliant price! Would def recommend it! It is a bit away from all the sites and stuff but the nearest underground station is only a 5min walk away. My boyfriend & I bought a week ticket for €27 each & let us hop on and off all u/s bahn trains & buses all week! Friendly staff in the hotel. The word 'Airport' when keywording to the hotel is a tad misleading, as it was almost a 30 euro taxi from Frankfurt Airport (using GPS too) - so don't let the word 'airport' fool you - and the sign posting to get to the hotel is pretty poor - hence only found it the 3rd time round using GPS. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Free […] Wifi. Only fault I had was room too warm - needs air conditioning. Easy to get around, change metro at Hermannplatz and then onto Alexanderplatz - can access a lot of areas from here.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, although we were given a smoking room. It is a 7-8 minute walk to U7 stop (Grenzalee), which worked great for us. It takes one transfer and about 30 min to Alexanderplatz. The train system in Berlin is so great it makes sense to save money and stay outside the center. Stayed at the Park hotel blub for 6 nights in April. Got a great rate on hotels.com. the rooms are large spacious clean and the beds comfortable, they have a mini bar with room for bottled water i bought at the local supermarket All staff were helpful and friendly the reception staff always took time to give me directions and show me on a metro map […] stations where to go for sight seeing. i arrived early at the hotel 11oc and the let me check in early, and when leaving they let me keep my room until1.30. overalla great hotel with great staff Lees meer

This is a nice Hotel located in a quite residential area in Berlin. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is only a quick walk to the nearest u-bahn station which takes 30mins to get to the city centre, and there is a bus to the airport outside. The food in the restaurant is nice but there isn't much variety on the menu. This hotel is perfect […] for the cheap price, and the only bad point is you have to hop on and off three different trains to the city centre which takes 30mins, and this might be difficult for people who dont understand the u-bahn system. We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were always pleasant, the room was comfortable and quiet as we were on the fifth floor and the times we tried the breakfast it was very nice. It took ten minutes to walk to the u-bahn station and then a further 30 minutes to get into the city centre. We didnt mind this as we saved a lot of money here and got great […] value. We are a married couple and I booked a standard double room for our stay in Berlin which was confirmed prior to arriving. When we got there, the receptionist told us the hotel only has two single beds pushed together which makes this a "double bed". The shocking part is that the CUSTOMER has to push the beds together - not the hotel staff!

I was expecting a 4 stars hotel and this is a 2 starts hotel, if that. The beds are tiny and the mattresses uncomfortable, springy and thin. People at the reception desk were unfriendly and not willing to help. Internet is expensive and if you pay for 2 hours, these will go from the minute you log on, regardless of whether you log of after 30 minutes. […] You won't be able to use them again. The toilet paper was rough and cheap. There was no shampoo or tooth paste. The area has absolutely nothing to see and the underground is not even close. i stayed at the hotel in september for my boyfriend's birthday, on a budget! i got the hotel cheap on a deal, however i still found the service and quality of the hotel to be 4* standard, even with the price! it was a bit out of the city center, but if you are going for a day sight seeing, you will be traveling anyway! only took around 10/15mins to […] get into the center! the bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel, (171), just keep your eyes open at the street names/numbers! if you know what to expect.. you will still be pleasantly surprised! def recommend!!!!! If you are planning to take public transport in Berlin (which is very easy) - I recommend saving money and staying here. You can get on the 171 bus from the Schonefeld airport (which ends at the airport so you don't need to worry about which direction to get on). The 171 bus stops directly across from the hotel (make sure you get off the right stop, […] called Franz Korner Strasse, which I did not!). For the rest of your trip you can walk to the nearby U-Grenzallee and use the U-Bahn to get anywhere you need to in Berlin (which will probably include transferring). But I saved a lot of money staying here and did not mind the public transport system. The room was decent - and had water beds! That was different! I was "blubbing" around all night. Lees meer

I enjoyed staying at the Park Hotel Blub, my only complaint would be the cost of Internet (5 Euros for 1hr, 10 Euros for 3hrs) and the breakfast that was 12 Euros. Other than that, it was perfect. I have heard people complain about location. Look, you are in Europe and you WILL be walking everywhere, there is no way around it unless you use Taxis. The […] train system is easy to learn, take the U7 to Rudow, get off at Blaschkoallee or Grenzallee (Grenzallee is slightly closer to the hotel). The Hotel is in between these stops. Although it's not the most convenient location being situated halfway between Schonefeld airport and the centre of Berlin it's cheap, clean and the staff are friendly. It's relatively easy to get to from the city on the U7 U-bahn line (Zone B) but if you are coming from the airport it is a 30 minute bus ride (Bus 172). Hotel is somewhat clean, but small. The hallway is ran by a manual controlled lights so someone can switch them off and it will be completely pitch dark, which can be dangerous. Nice and clean hotel. Hotel in very good condition. The rooms are pretty large and confortable, but there's no air conditioning in the the room. It's not in the city centre, but it's near an underground station, which will take to Berlin city centre in about 15 minutes. If you are arriving in Berlin Schonefeld airport, make sure to take the bus to […] Rudow station (line U7) and from there take the underground to Grenzalle. As travelers on a budget we appreciated the clean, welcoming space of Hotel Blub. the rooms didn't have the glitz of a 5 star hotel in Italy, but the staff had "5-Star" concern for helping us feel comfortable and get around the city. I was quite impressed with this hotel. For the price that I booked it at, I did not expect to get such a nice room and service and the location really isn't bad. Perhaps a 10 minute walk to the Ubahn really isn't terrible people. It was a nice walk through residential Berlin.

The bus 171 to Franz Korner Strasse from the airport, bus stop across the road from the hotel was an excellent start to our stay. UBahn Grezallee 5mins walk away.
