Als je een hotel zoekt en je loopt langs dit hotel, zou je er waarschijnlijk voorbij lopen, want het kan wel een lik verf aan de buitenkant gebruiken. Van binnen is het netjes, goede service en een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Wij hebben voor een upgrade gekozen naar een Classic-room deze heeft wat meer ruimte dan de standaard kamers, Internet is gratis […] en snel, alleen werkte het met een utp kabel, via WiFi werkte het niet. Kamer was schoon en netjes, Badkamer was ruim maar de douchecabine was erg krap. Maar het hotel is aan te raden en op 5min. lopen van het oude centrum en de diverse tours kunnen in het hotel geboekt worden en beginnen ook vanuit het hotel. Lees meer

Het hotel heeft een ideale ligging: op 5 min. lopen van het oude stadscentrum met de grote markt en op 10 min. lopen van het immens winkelcentrum, de Galeria Krakowska. Het hotel is niet toebedeeld met overdadige luxe maar heeft eerder een sobere uitstraling van een vroeger staatshotel. Alles is echter in goede staat en zaken zoals het toilet, verwarming […] en douche funktioneren prima! Onze standaardkamer was vrij klein maar voor een verblijf van enkele dagen is dit niet storend.Uitermate belangrijk en prettig is de hygiene. Dit is in dit hotel dik in orde: alles is uitermate schoon en netjes! Ook de bedden slapen goed en onze kamer aan de zijkant was vrij rustig. Toch ontkom je bij openstaand venster niet aan de welhaast constante geluiden van voorjakkerende ambulances: in de wijk achter het hotel zijn een aantal hospitaals gesitueerd. Tenslotte nog een tip: als U tv-liefhebber bent komt U bedrogen uit: de satelliettv heeft nog geen 10 zenders waaronder hoofdzakelijk Poolse, Franse en Engelse stations. Wellicht is het dan handig om een draagbaar dvd-spelertje met films mee te nemen. Voor de rest: voor enkele dagen verblijf in Krakow tegen een redelijke prijs is dit hotel zeker aan te raden. Alles kan van hieruit te voet worden afgelegd. Mocht U bij aanvang van de terugreis vroeg moeten vertrekken richting vliegveld (dit ligt 20 km verderop) kunt U behalve gebruik van het openbaar vervoer ook overwegen om de receptie een taxi te laten bestellen. Deze was bij ons stipt op tijd (07.00 uur 's ochtends) en kostte voor 4 personen ongeveer €22 euro (80 zloty vaste prijs). Lees meer

Het is een hotel die gebouwd is onder het communisch regime,en nu wat opgefrist Dubbele kamers nogal klein en zeker de badkamer ,stortbad en lavabo zijn te klein voor de hedendaagse norm. Onbijt prima,maar eetzaal kan gezelliger Bar is ook naar e kleine kant Ligging is prima ,dicht tegen het oude centrum. Tram,trein en taxi op kleine afstand

Close to station and the main square. Everything within walking distance. Good breakfasts. Relaxed friendly but very efficient staff. A good place for sightseeing in Krakow. Would return

Had specifically requested 3 single beds but were given a sofa as the 3rd one which was very uncomfortable. Was given room with renovations taking place outside which meant we had very little light in the room, scaffolding and netting outside. Had also requested accessibility to fridge due to necessity for diabetic medication but this was only available […] in staff room and unacessible to us. Lees meer

We found the hotel to be lovely however our stay was spoilt by the noisy and disruptive manner and behavior which a group of other guests displayed at the hotel. They arrived the day after us and were chanting and singing from around 5pm to around midnight each night for the rest of our stay. Also they booked out the whole of the hotel restaurant so […] we weren't able to have a meal in there in the evenings which meant we had to find a meal elsewhere. We felt it was very inappropriate and unprofessional of the hotel to have allowed this group to book the entire restaurant and little or no consideration was given to the needs of the other guests who may have wanted to eat in the restaurant. We complained to the hotel staff about the level of noise caused by the group and were told that they were not supposed to be on our floor. No attempt was made to move us to an alternative, quieter room. Lees meer

I stayed here for four nights, and overall I was very happy with the place. The location is great, being a five or ten minute walk from the main square, as well as a very short walk to the main railway station. The hotel itself is very clean, efficient, and well-maintained. I would describe my room (one of the double-bed rooms), as serviceable and comfortable […] with slightly dated and somewhat Spartan décor. It was however very clean and well-serviced. The price includes a buffet-style breakfast which was actually pretty good, especially if you like pork (frankly, you’ll have difficulty eating anything in this country if you don’t!). The food selection may be a bit of a departure from standard breakfast fare for North American guests, but it was certainly vastly superior to the standard included breakfasts in a US hotel (crappy desiccated bread, barely edible plastic eggs, and stale cereal). So yeah, it was a gourmet feast compared to a US hotel. The coffee however was truly vile, and I took to buying a coffee at the bar after the first day. The staff I dealt with were all very friendly and accommodating as well. I honestly don’t have any complaints. I will mention one thing however. This place seems to do quite a business with British school tour groups. I’m not sure whether this was due solely to the fact that there was a school holiday in the UK during my visit, or whether it is this way year-round, but each night of my stay a new tour group of 50 or so 14-18 year old school kids would check in. They really didn’t bother me any, as they seemed to be in their rooms and asleep by a very reasonable hour (perhaps 11PM or so), and there was very little disruption. Something to think about if you go to bed at 8PM and you feel that a bunch of 16 year olds running around will disturb you. Like I said, it didn’t bother me any. My husband and I stayed over the New Years break and were pleasantly surprised. While the hotel didn't have all the frills it was still a good value for a decent rate. The staff were very friendly and did their best to help when possible. The only downside was the hotel had soap dispensers located next to the sink and in the shower instead of shampoo/conditioner/body […] wash. And it had no ice machines except for in the bar. But we had a balcony and free Wifi. The location is great since it is located a few minutes away from the square and tons of restaurants and bars. We'd definitely stay here again. Lees meer

Hotel is well located for walking to main town square and other in town places of interest. Room and restuarant both very clean and well prepared, and breakfast is very good value. Hotel staff all english speaking and helpfull.

Smiling staff, very good breakfast, all needed sight-seeings from the lobby, but the room was noicy by outside car-traffic.

The location of the hotel was definitely the best part about it! It was at the border of the old town center, and all of the main sites in town were walking distance. The room was fine, not amazing - it was clean, but the style was a little stale (1980's) and the bed was average. But for the price, it was perfect. the staff were all friendly, and there […] was a small outdoor restaurant great for sitting out in the sun and drinking a coffee or a beer. perfect location for market square & sightseeing

What a hotel. Location location location. Walk across the road and you are in the old town. Most attractions are within walking distance including the shopping centre complex next to the central railway station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. lovely hotel - breakfast was great - lots of choice and did nt finish til 11am. 10 mins walk to train station/shopping centre and main square. staff very helpful- only complaint was rooms altho I knew we had booked twin rooms we were hoping they could be converted to doubles but not possible .

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's only a couple of minutes to the old sqaure. Five minute walk to the train station and shopping centre. The room was small but comfortable. The hotel is well located for the old town centre and the railway station. Externally the building is an uninspiring 1960s block and internally the large reception area is a bit like a station waiting area, so it is a bit impersonal. The room we had was a premier double room, which was very nice, but some of our party had standard doubles, which were […] small and narrow, with single beds placed end to end. The most attractive feature of Hotel Wyspianski is the location. It's very close to the main square, Wawel castle, and the train station. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. Although they all spoke fluent English, they seemed to be annoyed and that I was bothering them whenever I asked them a question or for help. The bed was very uncomfortable: just […] two twin-sized flimsy pieces of foam pushes together with a shared headboard and dirty, old comforter. The tv was hardly comfortable and the shower was too small to turn around in. All in all, if you want to be walking distance to all the sights in Krakow and are not concerned with comfort, the hotel is fine. This hotel is in a great location being only a five minute stroll to Krakow's main square. The hotel had good service. The room we had was of a good size but have to say not too impressed with the beds or bedding, although clean not very comfy. Prices for food and drink in hotel was very good. Well situated less than a 15 minutes walk from the main square. Adjacent to the Planty and convenient for walking to the Jewish Quarter, Wavel Castle, the River, Railway Station. A wonderful walking situation even in our early seventies. Highly recommended.

This hotel is ideally situated. Its only minutes from the bus and train stations and about 500m from the main square. It is a lovely hotel, looks newly decorated. Spotless clean. Rooms in v good condition. Breakfast is really good with a great choice. Lots of fresh fruit, juices, cold meats cheeses and salads. Very convenient location. Clean Rooms. Proper Hotel. Not complete luxury but by no means budget. Rooms are not massive but are comfortable. Breakfast not the best but I never expect it to be. We were on a stag do and we couldn't have had a better place to stay at very reasonable prices for everyone.

this hotel is very well situated to the main square only 5 min walk rooms are well kept breakfast is continental but tasty has a lot of school kids visiting but no big problem with any noise

We were very happy with this hotel convenient for all locations the food in the restaurant was excellent and good variety of breakfast the bar was quite small staff very helpful and friendly and the drink prices were reasonable over all a very nice hotel good value for the money we paid to stay 4 nights we would definately stay there again.

Well where do I start... this hotel is great quality for money. I took my mum away for a long weekend and am so glad I chose this hotel. From the outside, I wasn't expecting the greatest quality, but as soon as we stepped into the hotel lobby/hall, my perspective changed. It was clean everywhere, looked like it had been newly refurbished inside and […] received a really warm welcome. I had booked a basic twin room and that is what it was. It had sufficient space for two people with furniture and bathroom. Lovely big shower and our room was cleaned every other day. The only word of warning I will give is if you are travelling with someone you may not know very well (or perhaps would rather not be in the nude in front of) I would not choose a basic room. Although the room had sufficient space, the bathroom was small and it would have been difficult to get dressed in there, towels are provided, but even so if you do not want to get THAT "personal" with someone I would perhaps choose another room rather than the basic. Other than that the breakfast was great, all traditional polish and fresh! Central location to Krakow old town, we managed to walk to all of the sights and the train station is just around the corner. We will be staying again!! Lees meer

The hotel Wyspianski does not look much from outside but inside it was warm and clean. The staff on reception were fluent in English and very efficient. It is also very well situated for the old town and pick up point for tours. All in all good value for money

This hotel is superb. Initially when driving up to it the outside does not reflect what the rooms and hotel are really like. Our room was spotless and the people working there were so kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Will stay again next time, 10 minute walk to the square. Dont miss out...

Traveled to Krakow with 3 friends ,we age between 45 and 55years. The Wyspianskie hotel is horrible from the outside but the interior was clean warm and comfortable We were surprised at the friendliness of the staff from receptionist to the cleaners. we stayed in classic single rooms which were in fact large twin rooms with sofa bed arm chairs TV etc.and […] a balcony.There was free bottled water in the rooms ,which were replaced when drunk.The hotel bar was cheap the restaurant food the best we had in Krakow and very reasonably priced.The situation of the hotel is perfect a 3 minute walk to the cloth hall and about 5 minutes from the rail way station,handy if you want to get to the sights on public transport rather than pay extra for an organized tour. We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel Wyspianski. The location of the hotel was excellent-literally a 5 minute walk to the Market Square and a 10 minute walk to the railway station. The hotel was clean,staff friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We would certainly recommend the hotel and indeed Krakow. A most memorable stay.

Fine Hotel. Everything Satisfactory. Excellent location for visiting the Old Town.

The hotel was extremely convenient for sight-seeing situated on the main road surrounding the Plonty. Only took 5-10 minutes to walk into the main square where to start your tour. We took one of the "golf-cart" buggy tours on our first morning to give us an overall idea of the town. 1½hrs which went to all areas - very worthwhile. Trams are also an […] experience and are a quick way of getting back to the centre after walking to the outer limits. We booked a tour of Auschwitz from the UK. It was extremely interesting although included a lot of walking. A very worthwhile experience. Overall I would recommend visiting Krakow for a long weekend staying the the same hotel. Lees meer

The hotel was close to the railway and bus stations which made it convenient to get to, in fact me and my partner walked to the hotel after getting off the train from the airport. The hotel is close to the main square, again within walking distance. We found the bedrooms at the hotel small but as we spent most of the day sight seeing this was not a […] major problem. The only drawback with this hotel is that it seems to cater for schoolchildren on trips.On two of the four evenings during our stay we were disturbed by teenagers talking loudly and shouting to each other in the corridors. I have to add that we do not go to bed early and the noise went on way past midnight. However, we found this hotel, apart from the noisy teenagers, convenient for our stay in Krakow and would consider using it again in the future. Lees meer
