La Quinta Inn Chattanooga in Chattanooga

Not sure what else to say ... we were unimpressed.

The rooms were very nice, we had to get two adjoining rooms since we have four kids, and they all loved it. We had a balcony over the pool which my son really enjoyed. The continental breakfast was good, and there was ice water in the lobby at all times. We have never stayed at a La Quinta that we didn't like!

The hallway on the second floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke, and the carpet was filthy. Our room smelled like urine, and our linen was stained. The second day we were there, they caulked our tub and shower, and we were unable to use it for several hours. The next day we were asked to move to a different room because they were doing remodeling. […] I thought they should have known they had a project scheduled before they put us in the room. The hotel did not meet my expectations for a hotel in its price range. However, the front desk clerk during the day was a very cheerful and friendly gentleman. Staff were very accommodating. Pool was empty but maybe not quite the season yet. Close to interstate and downtown attractions. Very convenient.

While the location is a little off the beaten path (but near the interstate) it was central to the downtown area and Lookout Mountain attractions. This location had been recently renovated and was very clean and well maintained. Pros: Great breakfast, clean room, mini fridge, hospitable staff, upgraded amenities (great pool, workout room, leisure […] area with grills), central to downtown and Lookout Mountain. Cons: Sketchy neighborhood, no flat screen TV, hmm...that's it. We will definitely stay there again if the price stays the same. This is a value hotel. Lees meer

The staff was so nice and pleasant!! Always love the LaQuinta pet policy- they are all welcome!

Staff was friendly and professional ... hotel was dirty and run down. Not in the best area.

This was our (me and my family) 2nd stay at the LaQuinta Chattanooga within the month of February, and must say that we were pleased during both visits. I don't know when it will be the next time when we will be staying in Chattanooga, but I must say that whenever the time comes again and we have to stay overnight, it will definitely be hotel stay at […] the LaQuinta Chattanooga. Nice Motel - Nice Stay

Nice place. Clean, but worn to a degree. Just south of the downtown area. We drove to downtown and walked the river front as well as the town's resturant row.

Relaxing Environment Reasonably Priced

I was very pleased with my stay at La Quinta Chattanooga. I have a large dog, and had no problems getting in with him. Normally, hotels that allow dogs aren't in great condition. This one was fine and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and updating of the rooms. Hotel was about 10 minutes from mall area, and about 4 or 5 minutes from the main downtown […] area. I was really surprised at the cleanliness, condition and comfort of my room considering the price. It was a very nice overnight stay. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Chattanooga again.

This hotel was great for the price. Ok room, ok bed, and decent breakfast. Is close to the aquarium and zoo (about 2-3 miles). The hotels in Dtown (walking distance from aquarium and restaurants) can cost you double per night and up. Good price if you want to save some money.

The hotel lobby was very nice and the staff very friendly. There was several men standing around with the hotel representative drinking beer which was a little uncomfortable when checking in. Handy location - Good people - Treatly well

I came into Chattanooga for a show and the La Quinta fit my needs exactly. Close to the show venue, good price, extra friendly staff and a hearty breakfast. When I come back this way I plan to stay there again!

I wish the hotel would provide shuttle service to the "tourist" district. The hotel was further out than I had anticipated. I was hoping to be in walking distance to the area attractions downtown, not almost two miles out. Had a slight mishap with the wall mounted headboard falling off onto the bed and was provided another room immediately.

This hotel stay was pretty good. We were able to bring our cat with no problems. There were quite a few other pet owners since pets are accepted so if you are allergic, like my father-in-law was, stay clear of this hotel. Otherwise, it is good for the price and conveniently located near the interstate.

Rented two rooms for a family get-together in Chattanooga. These rooms were for our adult children and their kids. It worked out fine.. I did not personally see the rooms, but the kids reported that they were fine and that they were comfortable. Breakfast was good, too. Room prices were a bargain compared to other local hotels. The location is between Rock City and the aquarium. Very convenient and clean.

I travel from Orlando, FL to western KY every year around Christmas. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years and have always had a clean room, friendly reception and a wonderful breakfast. Never a complaint when staying here. Everytime I stay I notice that this hotel is never run down and almost looks better then the year before. Stayed while traveling to somewhere else. Front staff were very nice. Rooms have interior doors. Looks very safe. Rooms are spacious, nice TV's, good bathroom, etc. Had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, buscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, muffins, fruit, and juices. Neighborhood is a little iffy but the secure interior doors help with […] feeling secure. The hotel was spotless and breakfast was wonderful but we were literally afraid to go out after dark. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is pretty scary but it is near all of the places we wanted to visit (Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Choo Choo, mall, Aquarium, etc) The bed was comfy, bathroom was nicely updated and the room was spotless just a little […] on the small side. This is our 8th time here & can't beat it for the price. The rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly & only 10 min drive to anywhere in downtown Chattanooga & to UTC.

This hotel is a great bang for your buck as hotels go. It is not pricey, it is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Very comfortable, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Not near enough to walk into downtown Chattanooga but short drive or taxi ride which was reasonable rate. Perfect location for visiting Lookout Mountain and other Civil War sites in the area.

Hotel is older, CBS did not work on our TV, reported it to the desk, they said CBS did not work hotel wide, it hasn't worked in a while and they've been trying to get someone to check it...... While rooms were clean they were shabby. Questionable neighborhood. Not easy to get to.

When I entered the room the drapes were hanging off the rod and my first impression was "Great another second rate hotel because I am traveling with my pet" After looking around closer, you could tell the room was an older refurbished hotel but the sheets and shower were clean. I am just thankful they allow pets and the pet yard was clean.

The hot breakfast that is complimentary was excellent and the pool was great. They had a grassy play area for kids that was protected and allowed pets which we thought was great. We had a wonderful stay at LaQuinta.

Very clean, not in the greatest neighborhood, but close to downtown attractions (less than 1.5 miles).
