Ligging van het hotel is zeer goed te noemen 10 min. lopen naar het centrum. Er was ook aanbod van tour naar beziningswaardigheden en met name Niagra Falls ! ik zou aanraden om op eigen gelegenheid naar de Niagra Falls te gaan en twee dagen daar door te brengen want het is zeer de moeite waard. Heel belangrijk om zeker bij Sheraton te gaan lunchen want vanuit het balkon van de Sheraton kan je mooie foto's maken.

In één woord: SUPERHOTEL! Mijn man en ik hadden onmiddellijk een WOW-gevoel. Mooie design kamer met alle comfort én oog voor detail. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en de perfecte ligging! Wij zullen in de toekomst zeker teruggaan naar dit hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Oakville bevindt zich in Oakville, dicht bij Sheridan College. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Rattray Marsh Conservation Area en Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.

Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Oakville heeft een binnenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Enjoyed very much our stay in the hotel. The Manager and front desk personnel were friendly and accomodated our need of room close to the elevator. The Jacuzzi, however, was broken in the day we were going to use it. Maintenance personnel couldn't fix it that day.

"Close to where I wanted to be"
We used this hotel to go to club Rehab for my boyfriend's birthday. It was perfect since it was literally right across the hwy. Loved the convenience and we all had no complaints. Rooms were very clean, beds were pretty comfy. Will go back for sure.

The hotel and room where very clean. Unfortunately the bed was hard as a rock. The most uncomfortable bed I've had at a hotel. I could hardly sleep and had a sore back for the next day.

"Convenient on our trip route."
We were only there about 10 hours so can't say a lot about the facility.

This hotel suited our needs perfectly. The room was great and the bed extremely comfortable.. The breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection and a chef waiting to make your omelette to your liking. Lovely decor and grounds. Indoor pool and workout room a bonus.

Very friendly and helpful staff from arrival to departure. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Break fast brunch was great and very accomodating for anyone with severe nut allergies. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

We enjoyed the stay as it was close to the GO train and the Highway, what I didn't like was that someone called our room at 7AM and the whole idea of us staying there was to get extra sleep with the phone ringing at that time did not allow us to sleep in.

"What happened to this place?"
We used to stay here regularly and with pleasure. Our last stay, however, was our last. We stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas holidays, and were booked into a horrible little room that turned out to be the wing in which they book young hockey players and their families. Basically, in one of the rooms with the worst mattresses and locations in the […] building. We found that out the hard way one night when we returned, tired, to find 2 dozen rugrats playing hockey in the hallway. They would barely move to let us pass and get to our room! We had to call down to the front desk numerous times to complain and ask that something be done to clear the hallway. It took 30 minutes for the banging, shouting and general disturbance to stop, and this was well after 10 pm! In addition, we ran out of toilet paper at one point, and when we asked for more, they grudgingly gave us on roll. We had to press for a 2nd. They seemingly guard their cheap 2-ply toilet paper quite jealously. Can't understand why. Further, the water in the pool was icy. The hottub had so many chemicals in it that once the jets were turned on and the chemicals airborne, we coughed and coughed. Relaxing was impossible! Only with the jets off was it pleasant to sit in the heated tub, but it wasn't much of a hottub experience then. Rather more like soaking in a very hot bath. This was disappointing. Also, on every single occasion, there were NO towels in the pool area. Most times, I made a point of going to the front desk to ask that some be delivered, but once or twice, we got into the pool and were soaking wet before we noticed the absence of towels again. Having nothing to dry ourselves with made the walk to the front desk cold and unpleasant. Finally, the morning after the incident with the kids, the treadmills stopped working. Hotel was very clean, restaurant was good but could not relax in pool and hottub because they were ice cold.

"The Hilton Garden Inn, Oakville, Ontario"
If your looking for a hotel close to Oakville and Mississauga border this is very good. Very clean, well maintained, and comfortable pleasant rooms. The staff are very friendly and we would definitly recommend it. Its close to the QEW and 403 which is good and about a 10 mins drive to downtown Oakville.
"Great hotel, Great price"
This was the second of two Hilton Garden Inn's that we stayed at as we traveled three nights in Canada. This one was half the price of the Montreal hotel and much cleaner, and friendlier. Food was good, staff was very helpful, would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff was not accomodating or friendly at check in or when we had to extend our stay for an extra evening (they lost our reservation - for the additional night's stay - we had to re-check in). The alarm clock in the room was set to the wrong time and we could not change the setting, so we had to rely on a wake up call.
