Dit hotel ligt vlak bij de luchthaven en dus ideaal wanneer je vlucht de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrekt. De kamers zijn comfortabel en proper, de mensen van de receptie zeer behulpzaam. Er is een shuttle van en naar de luchthaven en van daaruit kan je de light rail naar het centrum nemen. Je bent dan wel bijna een uur onderweg...

Het hotel zag er mooi uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Eigenlijk zijn wij niet anders gewend van dit hotelketen. De badkamer met wastafel in één kamer (hadden wij niet in de vorige hotels) beviel goed. Wij hadden een kamer voor niet-rokers, maar er hing een vage rokerslucht in de kamer. Met het schaamrood op de kaken probeerde de receptie dit te herstellen. Opgelost middels citroen verfrisser: wellicht toch ontstaan door de kleding van een zware roker vóór ons. De bedden waren perfect en wifi en de beschikbare parkeerruimte waren goed. We hebben door een technische storing een dag zonder wifi gezeten: erg vervelend maar éénmalig. Het raam kon open voor frisse lucht en geluiden uit de natuur: prettig. Het ontbijt was basic (continental breakfast), maar goed genoeg om de dag te beginnen. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Wij zijn hier 6 nachten gebleven. Al met al was het een plezierig verblijf in een rustige omgeving: ik zou hier zeker terugkomen.

Het hotel zag er netjes uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. De kamer en de badkamer waren klein, maar OK. De overige zaken, zoals wifi en parkeerruimte waren goed. De airco was echter luidruchtig en met het raam open was er veel overlast van het verkeer. Het ontbijt was basic, maar goed verzorgd met dagelijks vers fruit. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Het hotel ligt niet ver van de Alderwood mall. Wij zijn hier 3 nachten gebleven. Ondanks de kleine kamer en kleine minpunten zou ik hier zeker terugkomen.

Exactly what you'd expect of the hotel. Basic, but clean. Free basic breakfast and a shuttle to the airport every half hour. If you want to watch TV, there are enough channels. In a nuttshell: a good place to stay a few days or just overnight if you have a flight the next day.
Ligging.
Holiday Inn Seattle ligt in het centrum van Seattle, op loopafstand van Denny Park, Experience Music Project Museum en Seattle Center. In de buurt liggen ook Space Needle en Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 3-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een limousine- of autoservice. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Tegen betaling zijn er een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

De beeldende Space Needle staat in Seattle Center, twee minuten rijden met de monorail vanuit het centrum. Zowel de trein als de toren zijn in 1962 gebouwd voor de World's Fair. Het Seattle Center biedt opera, ballet en theater, en je vindt er de Key Arena, het Pacific Science Center en het Experience Music Project. Het naburige negen are grote Olympic Sculpture Park zorgt voor een onderbreking. Je hebt er bij de waterkant uitzicht op de Olympic Mountains.

We wilden met drie volwassenen en een kind een paar dagen in Seattle toebrengen. Omdat we graag een rustige avond wilden hebben, hebben we een 'suite' geboekt - volgens de website met voldoende slaapgelegenheid voor 3-4 volwassenen. Helaas: bij aankomst bleek het tweede bed een sofabed te zijn, met een matras van niet meer dan 10 cm dik. Ik had er niet […] eens mijn kind op laten slapen, zo vreselijk was dit. Het bed was ook niet gemaakt. Als alternatief werd een rolbed met een even dun matras aangeboden. Dan maar naar een andere kamer, met maar één ruimte en twee bedden. Deze waren beter, maar ja, geen sprake meer van een rustige avond nadat de baby naar bed was. Helaas heeft de receptie op onze tweede avond een groep mannen, deelnemers van een bachelor party, in de kamers boven ons geboekt. Ze maakten lawaai toen de baby naar bed ging, rond 20.30. Ze kwamen naar huis om 2.30, om uiteindelijk tot ongeveer 5.30 door te feesten op hun kamers. We hebben drie keer de receptie gebeld, maar het heeft niet veel geholpen. Uiteindelijk kregen we een tegoedbon voor (een deel van) het ontbijt, maar ja, die nacht hadden we bijna niet geslapen. Tenslotte vroegen we op de tweede dag om het beddengoed te verschonen, omdat we oude vlekken hadden ontdekt. Dat werd niet gedaan. Kortom: de staf was op zich vriendelijk, maar dus niet erg attent: de suite was niet wat beloofd was, geen bedden opgemaakt, bachelor party boven ons hoofd, geen nieuw beddengoed. Voor de rest ligt het hotel vrij dicht bij de Space Needle, lopen naar de stad is ook te doen. Maar er is heel veel verkeer in de buurt, en het is niet echt mooi om te lopen. Lees meer

My daughters and I booked the Family Suite (1 King 1 Twin Bunkbed 2 seperate rooms) for 4/20-4/22. I was very pleased with it! It was located within walking distance to the Space Needle and Monorail. Everything you need or want is realtively close to you. The room was great (microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and I really don't have any complaints about […] it! Some people complained of "traffic noise". I didn't notice any at all, and my room window faced Dexter. For the price (of when we booked of course) it was totally worth it and I'll definately make this one of the places I'll stay at when I'm in Seattle. Lees meer

The front desk staff were super friendly. The hotel was conveniently located to anything I wanted to do.

I got a king size 1 bedroom suite and for he price was very satisfied. Fairly cheap considering the location of the hotel. Perfect location, easy walk to the Space Needle, downtown shopping and Pikes Market.

It's OK to stay overnight before head up Vancouver but I will try somewhere else. the next one " Holiday Inn Express", they're at lease provide continental breakfast.

The staff were very pleasant, helpful and accomodating. The price is very reasonable considering the proximity to the Space Needle and Science Center. I would recommend this Hotel to a friend without hesitation.

"Very clean, good service-- but loud."
The hotel was very clean and they had excellent service, however the tile floors near the entrance to each room meant that every time luggage with wheels was rolled over it, it made a very loud noise which resonated to the floors above and below. I had some trouble getting a good night's sleep because of all of the noise.

The Space Needle was a 15 minute walk. Downtown was about a 20 minute walk. Fish Market was about a 20 minute walk Teatro ZinZanni was about a 20 minute walk. So the location was good in that it was walkable to many things in opposite directions. Not much right at the hotel, however.

Clean room, decent location not too far from downtown or the Space Needle. Walked around late at night without worry of getting shot or stabbed, that's always a plus. Best hotel I've stayed at in this price range in Seattle.

Hotel was nice and clean, however, the elevators were running very slowly and one got stuck for an extended period with several passengers inside. I understand this was a busy night with lots of partying, but I shouldn't have had to contact security 4 times regarding busted bottles in the hallway and marijuana smoke so thick it made me sick. We arrived in Seattle early and went to the hotel just to see if we could leave our vehicle in the underground parking and then go and walk around town but we were able to get in almost 4 hours early (very lucky) and the staff and the desk were very informative about where to go and what to see along with the best places to eat. Front desk personnel was rude, garage was small and inconvenient. The room was clean, but overall service was terrible and the location and parking was horrible. Did not help they were remodeling. "Holiday Inn - Great place if you like a little wal"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn. It is just a little walk into the heart of downtown(about 10 minutes), so it was a great way to start your day before grabbing your first cup of coffee. The hotel was always very clean and they were doing matience, which they had signs all over for, but I never heard anything, and other than the signs never […] saw anything. Our room had a kitchenette outside the bathroom that was great for me to get ready there while someone else would be taking a shower. Our room always was clean and tidy when we would come back at the end of the day. I never felt like anything was out of place or missing. The bathroom and room were up to date and well maintained. The bed was adequate and had plenty of pillows. Lots of extra room to hang up clothes or put them away. The only downside was there was no breakfast, even to grab a quick piece of fruit before starting the day. The front desk was helpful and kind, it was usually the same guy in the mornings that made sure we knew where we were going or if we needed anything else or had other questions. The only issue was when we were leaving and asked to have a cab to take us to the Light Rail Station. There was a lady at the front desk, who just gave us a blank stare and didn't help us and acted as if we were her biggest problem of the day. Lees meer

"Holiday Inn--Downtown Seattle"
Had a wonderful stay! Hotel staff were great and gave some excellent advice on things to do and how to get around the town. Gave me an upgraded room when they saw that I was checking in with my daughter at no extra charge. Didn't hurt that I saw UO beating down UW for the eighth year in a row. GO DUCKS!!!!!
"Make sure the shower drains"
The hotel was great along with the amazing staff! The only issue I had was that the shower didnt drain at all, it just filled up and got gross! I'm sure they would have fixed it ASAP but I was only there for a night and told them at the desk as I was checking out.

"Great Hotel"
We had an excellent stay! We were in town for a wedding just a few blocks away and this was a perfect location. Some other guests complained that the construction outside woke them up too early, but we didn't have that issue. Besides, updating the hotel is a great plan!! :) We would definitely stay here again.

No breakfast offered as does the cheaper Holiday Inn Express which is right next door. Most hotels around offer at least include continental breakfast. Good front desk and helpful staff.

"Good location, insufficient light in room"
Location is convenient enough, 15 minute walk from Convention Center, safe streets. However, the rooms did not have much light. That would be my only criticism.
