The Timbers - An All Suite Hotel in Denver

Rooms very clean, personal very helpful, the restaurant food was excellent. It is an older hotel that is or has been up graded nicely decorated. The small patios off the rooms are nice to sit in the evenings, and accomandated the people who smoke.

This place was not nice! The bed wasn't done correctly! The sheets were all tucked under the mattress. We were in a room with no microwave. It could of been cleaner.

I love this hotel! For my business trips, it is 100% convenient to my appointments and the airport. The price is fantastic - the rooms are big and comfortable - great pillows!!! The complimentary breakfast is a hot omlette cooked to order. If your vacationing in the city it's only a bit away - but for the price it's worth the extra 15 minute drive  […] downtown. Lees meer

Nothing about this hotel was as it seemed. The rooms were nothing like photos. They were dirty and uncomfortable. The first room I was in was grotesque. I asked to change rooms and the second one, while being a considerable improvment, was still nothing like the claims of the website. I feel extremely cheated for paying what I did when I could simply […] have gone across the street, paid half as much, and gotten a much nicer room. That's not speculation. Ok hotell conveniently located 15 min from the airport with own restaurant. Nice room considering the cost and ok breakfast included.

I had some valuables in the car and although the room was quite comfortable and the staff was friendly, this place doesn't have a secure parking lot and the hotel is located in a seedy area. There are also no bath tubs and no jacuzzi, so after my 13 hour drive my long awaited soak in a tub/jacuzzi was missing. For the price and the convenient fact that […] this place is directly off the freeway, this hotel is fantastic. The price was the saving grace. If I had paid any more I would have been rather disappointed. They do give you free breakfast (I left at 4 am so I didn't get to participate :( and a free drink voucher for the night you stay- and these coupons offset the cost of travel by about $15 so I appreciated them). The food at the restaurant isn't amazing... I would suggest sucking it up and ordering the BBQ chicken salad which is okay or just yelp something better. This hotel was nicely decorated with a very comfortable lobby. Nice fireplace in the lobby. Our hotel room was very nice. The only complaint was that the bathroom door, which was a pocket door, would not close. It was stuck inside its pocket. We stayed for an event hosted at the hotel. The event space was nice and comfortable. We did eat lunch at […] the in house restaurant both days. The first day it they weren't prepared for the amount of people dining and made several people late for the afternoon sessions. This was corrected on the second day. I looked at the online pictures and read the reviews and I was sure all the negative comments could be overlooked due to the positive ones....wrong! The part of town was scary, our room was small, the door to the balcony was broken, the hairdryer didn't work, and the door to the bathroom was very difficult to shut. Breakfast was a hassle and they didn't […] have our reservation correct, so they wouldn't give us enough breakfast tickets for our whole family so I didn't get to eat. If you need a place to stay that is close to the airport and easy to find in the middle of the night, this meets the criteria. If you are staying in town for a bit and want to see the city, you'll need to drive everywhere; this hotel is only close to a couple other hotels, a McDonalds and a Starbucks. The rooms (I was in a standard, not a suite) are […] fairly spacious and you get a door to a small patio area. Bathrooms are clean, with good water pressure and stable temperature. Oddities: they use so much bleach on the bedding I had trouble sleeping without covering my pillows in my own shirts. They give you toothpaste, but not conditioner. And even though I followed all the posted rules on the "be green" notices, the maid still changed all my towels and sheets every single day. Lees meer

I've driven from the airport into downtown Denver several times, seeing THE TIMBERS from the freeway and always thought it was a Steakhouse. It is in fact a very convenient and nice Hotel in which I will stay at from now on.

My stay was very satisfactory. The service was helpful and polite. I would and plan to stay here again.

Nice hotel that fit our family if 6, wonderful breakfast buffet, friendly staff

Close to the airport with ON TIME free shuttle service. Spacious(surprisingly so ) and comfortable rooms and beds. Nice inhouse grill, great breakfast.

Other than the less than great neighborhood, this hotel was very satisfactory. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

The hotel had everything I needed. I was able to visit with relatives in the large, accommodating lobby. The adjourning bar/restaurant food was tasty and not excessively overpriced. The restaurant service was also impressive. I was so pleased to catch up with the folks without leaving the hotel.. The only problem is, if you like to watch TV, they have […] old sets, not H.D. I stayed in a suite for the price of a basic room. It was fantastic.. Its a little far from downtown. But I stayed in a downtown hotel and got much less for my money

Great place to stay if you need to be near the airport or in Aurora. One of the best values we've ever had.

We had a 6 am flight and this was a great hotel at a great price and only 15-20 minutes away from the airport. There is a shuttle which would have taken us to and from the airport but we chose not to use this ammenity. We asked directions to nearby stores which was close and would have been a shoppers "dream mall" if we had time (through a more industrial […] park area but felt very safe). The suite for the price was WONDERFUL. The only draw back was breakfast was served @ 6 am and our flight left at that time. The tv had both a DVD and video player which would be something that would be fun if we were staying longer. Lees meer

They did not have a room we selected and we were upgraded to a 1 bed suite. It was nice and huge. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. We needed to contact the front desk and we tried using the 2 phones in the room and both did not work. Also there was no iron in the room. When I went to the front desk at 8am in the morning to request […] an iron, ask for bed rails and to fix the phones, the older manager said that maintance only works on Tues and Thurs and if we wanted phones that work we would have to change our room. Next there are no bed rails. Then she stated that if I wanted an iron I would have to wait until 9am when housekeeping opens up. I explained to her I have a conference to attend by 9am. Then I asked if she could take an iron from another room that was empty then replace it when housekeeping arrives she said then I would have to move to the room that the iron was taken from. It is a shame that they can not think out of the box. After a little prompting magically she appeared with an iron I can use. The front desk on the early morning shift need to learn true customer service and not think of ways to inconvenience the guests. The lady that checked us in at 9:15pm was very friendly and helpful. Overall this was a pretty nice hotel. The suite was very big and comfortable. The free breakfast was a big plus. I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Broken coffee pot, toilet paper holder, hair dryer, inaccurate heater in the room, the message lights on the phones blink all night for no apparent reason. When asked about it, the person at reception claims "that happens all the time"... I unplugged the phone. "Suites" is a misnomer. It's a hotel with rooms and long hallways. The food was adequate, […] but not more than that. The staff was willing to change my room, though when they did the next room had yet another broken hairdryer and another phone that needed to be unplugged. It wasn't worth the hassle of complaining again. The vending machines have notes posted on them that hotel guests should "use them at their own risk" and that "The Timbers is not responsible for lost money in machines". A ringing endorsement, to be sure. The staff was friendly enough, and it was close to the airport, and that's what I needed. Would I stay again? No. Lees meer

The hotel is modest - for a modest price. Convenient for an overnight stay near Denver Airport, the hotel runs a free shuttle service back and forth. Very polite and obliging staff. Calling this hotel "all-suite" is, however, stretching the term "suite" beond its breaking point. E was verything was great. Free drink. Dinner was good. Only challange was the distance from airport. Had shuttle and breakfast. Pricewise good deal.

The first room was non-smoking and smelled like a smoke shop with tobacco on the table. The second room was an upgrade to a suite and it had a terrible sour smell from wet carpets and furniture that had not been cleaned and dried properly. The wife and I work on the road and wanted a nice quiet place to relax for an evening. And this was an excellent place to do it. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. They allow pets, and the poet fee was resonable. Breakfast was good, and the restraint on site was great. Try this place out, you cant go wrong.

We chose this hotel for the price and the relatively close location to the Denver Airport. We were really surprised to see the quality of the hotel and rooms for such a cheap price. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. My only compliant would be the tv. The tv was old and the remote didn't work […] very well. Apparently your idea of a suite includes a mini-fridge and microwave. You don't explain that the cheaper rooms are not the true suites. I thought I was getting a kitchenette with dining table, etc. I could have stayed anywhere for those "luxeries." Plus the 27" television is the old tube kind, not the flat screen we are used to seeing.

Were it not for a few little details, this hotel could be a five star experience. Spacious and extraordinarily confortable, our room had perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The linens were of very high quality. The word I would use to describe the overall feeling of the suite is "plush". But then the management allowed little things […] to mar the experience. The buttons on the phone which were supposed to be direct lines to room service and such did not work. There was no remote control in the room for the TV. The restaurant hours as posted turned out to be inaccurate. And room service hours were not posted anywhere. The staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Their attitude was one of the best things about the organization. I would go back because this was close to a perfect stay. But for a place to get that close to perfect and miss because of such little, easily fixable things is a real shame. Lees meer

The staff went out of their way to find me food after hours. The van service was really helpful. The room was in need of a bit of repair but the bed was sooo comfortable.
