I have stayed here many times and normally really like it. For this stay, no one made up my room the first day, my iPad wouldn't work with their wifi and nobody could help me until I was checking out which was too late

the only thing that really needs changed is the TV--it is so old fashioned and up so high you can hardly watch without breaking your neck

I really enjoyed my stay at this Microtel. The staff was wonderful and very professional. I will return to the location in the future.

I am a single girl traveling alone so I like staying in hotels that are all indoors. This place was clean with minor details that could have been better. The TV was up really high so it was ackward to view. Neighborhood wasn't extremely interesting (it's right off the highway) but I felt safe there. Only thing I didn't realize is that it is called Microtel […] because it is small. The room was cozy but I missed the feeling of a big sized hotel room. The hotel is beginning to look worn. Size of the room is small. Breakfast is okay, but not spectacular. The price was right. This was my second stay here. Location was perfect for our trip.

I love this hotel & I will stay there every time I visit the Charlotte, NC area! HOWEVER, the staff was GHETTO, INATTENTIVE, & EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! As the name says, this is a Micro-Motel. The room was clean, although compact. I would stay here again if I am by myself.

Room was horribly too small...smelled awful like cigarettes and old feet (it was a nonsmoking room) and the staff was rude all shifts...the brkfast was small not a lot of variety compared to other microtels I've stayed @. The only good things...close to resturants...some retails stores...and the hwy.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone not spending a lot of time there. I was visiting relatives, so only spent about 9 or so hours per day there (mostly sleeping). I have stayed at this micro-tel several times in the past and always have enjoyed my stay.

My friend and I stayed in a single queen room for one night. The room was surprisingly small. It had just a bed with two bedside tables on either side. A closet (which the tv sat on top of), a small desk, a mini-fridge and a microwave and a bathroom. It was comfortable for one night, but that's probably the longest I'd be comfortable in there. The only thing I did not like about this hotel was the inability to communicate with the cleaning staff. When we told the housekeeper we did not want our room cleaned but only needed clean towels I was told "no", clearly this person did not speak or understand English. My only complaint was the A/C. We checked in at 8:00 pm and the air was not on in the room and it was very hot. It took until 2:00 am for the room to get cooled off.

Room very small, but worse mattress was very worn. Uncomfortable night's sleep.

Hotel fixtures and furnishings had 'tired' worn look. Breakfast was poor. Very little choice. Certainly over priced for value received!

The room was extremely small, and very cramped, with horrible lighting. The window didn't lock. the towels would scratch the paint off of a car. The only amenity provided was soap. There were people walking around the parking lot all night long. Very unsafe place. I had heard good things about Microtels from family and friends. Obviously they had not stayed at the two I booked in Savannah or Rock Hill. Both were run down, but the room at Rock Hill had damage to the front door, dresser drawer (broken and wouldn't shut) and bathroom sink counter, and the bathroom door lock was destroyed. We were very pleased with the hotel and the staff. The rooms (we rented 2) were clean and updated. Extremely pleased with our stay. The only negative being the other clients staying at the hotel were not considerate on their personal noise level. The hotel itself was terrific.

Clean hotel, convenient to the interstate, good value.

This hotel delivered excellent customer service and care for its guuest. The rooms are very clean and quite nice for the price.

This hotel was a great value. The customer service was excellent and the entire hotel was clean.

Nice hotel for the price. DO NOT check into rooms 121, 122 or 123--across from the continental breakfast setup--unless you want to be woken up by rude guests at 6:00 a.m. Otherwise, a good value. Clean bathroom, good comfortable beds. This is no frills but fine.

I usually stay in a Microtel since they are good for a 1-2 night stay when all I want are the basics. This time I received great customer service from more than one at the front desk. I'll be back again.

This hotel has a 2 star rating, when it should be at least a 3 to 4 star. We got there and the lady at the counter was very helpful and the check-in was painless. The rooms are pretty small but absolutely perfect for 2 or less people. The room is spacious and very clean (and I am very picky about hotels). The internet is wireless and free and fast! […] (I got downloads of up to 2.5 mb/s!). The T.V got all the great channels including HBO and pretty easy to use. There was a good amount of lights in the room and it included an ironing board, iron and hangers. The best of all was the bed and pillows. I have stayed in my fair share of hotels but wow! This bed was comfier than my bed! Very soft and cushioned and I didn't want to get up in the morning! The continental breakfast is served in the lobby which includes: -bowl of cereal -apples -muffins -instant oats -apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice -coffee I would recommend this hotel for anyone with 2 or less per room and the bathrooms are fantastic. The travel directions we had were wrong and we spent at least 45 minutes to an hour trying to find the hotel (we were given the wrong exit number). This was not the hotel's fault, however the night clerk was outside smoking for the entire time we were trying to call the hotel to get directions. We called several times letting the phone ring for at least […] 15 rings each time. Other than that the hotel itself was clean, the rooms were a nice size if a bit ordinary, and the breakfast was decent. For the price, it is quite the bargain. I was driving home from Charlotte and needed a hotel for a night that was cheap and clean and this was both. Good breakfast and the room was clean.

The room was ok if you're just looking to get off the road for a night. It was really small for staying as long as I did (3days). THe rooms themeselves need to be cleaned throughly as the bathroom wall behind the door needed to be scrubbed down(Rm 216). The room was clean, super comfortable bed. The only problem was the inability to access the WiFi in room. Front desk explained they were having router issues.

This is the second time that we stayed at this hotel on our drive from Ithaca to Sarasota. We checked in at 9pm without a glitch. We checked out at 9am after eating the "continental" breakfast. We chose this hotel because it was just over half way to our destination and just south of Charlotte, NC so that we wouldn't have to deal with rush hour traffic […] in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel showed 1 more year of wear, but was more than adequate for our sleep-over. hotel very easy to find. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and the breakfast was adequate. This hotel was a good value and I would stay again.

Great price, good convenient location, comfortable bed, nice friendly staff. If you look too close, you'll see some cleaning issues, at the baseboards, etc, but nothing that was critical. The continental breakfast was good. I would recommend this to others.

As a former airline pilot, I've stayed in hundreds of hotels. For the money, this hotel is not what you would expect: It was clean, comfortable, convenient and safe. I'm not suggesting that it is a 5 star hotel or that it has charm, or even that the continental breakfast was good, but for a sleepover, it is a very good value.
