Prettig verblijf, gastvrije attente ontvangst en verzorging. Bij een overvloed van tv kanalen was het jammer dat er met het oog op de Olympische spelen geen Nederlands talige zender in het aanbod zat.

Het hotel heeft een geweldige ligging aan de voet van de Ramblas in de haven Port Vell. Naast het hotel ligt een klein winkelcentrum, een aquarium en een bioscoop, door water gescheiden. Je moet dus een kleine 10 minuten lopen. Het strand is makkelijk te bereiken met de fiets (10min) of met de taxi (5min/+-7eu) en het leukste winkelgebied is rond Place […] de Catalunya, wat aan het andere eind van de Ramblas gelegen is. Dat betekend dus 2km van het hotel, maar is ideaal om lekker over de Ramblas te lopen.. Een aanrader is om het ontbijt inclusief te nemen, het is super uitgebreid en overheerlijk! Een erg goed en luxe hotel, met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Uitstekende bar, waar het goed toeven is na een hectische dag in de stad. De kamers zijn ruim opgezet met goede airconditioning. Minibar aanwezig, geen mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te maken. Het zwembad is erg klein, maar het uitzicht vanaf het dak op de haven en de stad is mooi. Je kunt […] er prettig van de zon genieten. Helaas was de bar bij het zwembad niet open. Het hotel is gesitueerd aan de haven, naast cruise terminals, waar je weinig tot geen last van hebt. In vele boekjes staat dat de omgeving niet prettig is, maar wij hebben iedere avond gewandeld van en naar het hotel en hebben het zeker niet als gevaarlijk of onprettig ervaren. Good hotel, good central location, be it not immediately in town, on the Marina or on the beach, all are within reasonable distance. Especially if you rent bikes from the hotel (Barcelona is a great city to bike around). Pool is not much. book a room with either marina- or city view. excellent breakfast.

Het maakt geen verschil of je buiten of binnen bent op de kamer i.v.m. het geluid dat de veerboten produceren. Het is een enorm belastend geluid tot laat in de nacht. In de morgen wordt je wakker van het geschreeuw van de meeuwen en het praten van de mensen, we zaten op 4 hoog uitkijkend op Barcelona. Het hotel was meer dan prima. Gelegen aan het begin van de rambla was het op loopafstand van het centrum. Heel goed. Het hotel was echt 5 sterren. Sauna en jacuzzi was ook meer dan ok. Enig minpunt was dat de bedden erg hard waren

Perfecte locatie in Barcelona. Helaas kregen we geen babybedje, welke werd toegezegd door dame vd receptie. Jammer dat een 5* hotel geen complementary ontbijt aanbiedt. Zwembad is vrij klein en helaas niet verwarmd. Kamer was erg comfortabel en heerlijk ruim.

Prima hotel, maar had toch iets meer verwacht. Locatie is leuk maar zeker 's avonds liggen er veel boten voor de deur, met de nodige herrie. Ook de faciliteiten waren niet slecht maar voor een 5 ster had ik meer verwacht (groter zwembad, betere bar) ligging is wel prima, maar check de kaart voor je op pad gaat, want niet iedereen kent het hotel.

Dit hotel is perfect gelegen in de haven van Barcelona. In enkele minuten sta je aan het begin van de Ramblas, midden in het dynamische centrum van de nieuwe haven. Vanaf deze lokatie is het prima te belopen naar het centrum van de stad en het strand.

In for 6 days and impressed from the first moment. The room was good but nothing special but what made the stay was the quality of the service. From the concierge to the desk staff and in particular the hotel bar and restuarant. We had meals at the hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed the sophisticated ambiance and the quality of the food. 1. Check in: very quick and efficient. Location: great location, a few minutes walk to the south end of Las Ramblas, which connects to Plaza Catalunya,Passa de Gracia and all must see areas. Lots of restaurants and Tapas bars along Las Ramblas.. The staff: absolutely fantasic, very friendly and helpful. I happened to attend a Barca football game whilst […] I was there and the gentleman at the door arranged a lift for me with the other hotel guests who were going to the stadium. The room: big, clean room, comfortable bed, a few english tv channels and top notch high speed wi-fi, which is free no matter how many devices you have. The bathroom is amazing! By far the most impressive bathroom I've seen in all 5* hotels I've stayed in... You want to stay in that shower all day. Now the downside of the hotel that marred my stay there is whilst the hotel is nice for a quiet night away from the hustle and bustle of the city it has extremely thin walls, you can hear people in the next room as if they are in the same room with you. Unfortunately I had two rowdy and loud gentlemen who kept me up until 4am (no joke) 3 nights in a row! On the 3rd night I had enough and called reception @ 3h30... they promptly came up, knocked and asked the rowdy couple to keep it down.. As a result I didn't have comfortable and peaceful sleep during my stay here but I feel like this is not the fault of the hotel per se. So I'd stay here again and hope I have better behaved guests as neighbors next time... Lees meer

The hotel was very modern and clean, however the wifi did not work and the air conditioning was not working so the room was very hot. Location was nice and the hop on hop off bus was right outside.

Everything at the hotel was great with one exception. The front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful to an English speaking person. They worked hard to make sure my wife and I had a great mini-vacation stay. The Cava was terrific as were the chocolate covered strawberries served in a martini glass. They were unlike any I had before. […] The only detractor was the internet service was terrible in my room and wasn't resolved during my two day stay (but it was a weekend in Spain and I shouldn't have been trying to work anyway!). The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Las Ramblas and with panoramic views of Barcelona from the eighth floor. The staff are very professional, but also friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ideal location before or on returning from a cruise.

Eurostars Grand Marina is co-located with the Barcelona World Trade Center (so you can tell your cab driver to take you to the World Trade Center if they are unfamiliar with the hotel). It's an approximately 20 minute cab ride from the airport and 10 minutes by cab to the Cruise Terminals. For those interested in sightseeing, the hotel is about 15 minutes […] walking distance to the Christopher Columbus statue at the southern end of Las Ramblas and even closer to the CitySightseeing and Turistico bus stops. The hotel room itself was comfortably sized and had in-room A/C. The shower did not have hot water the first night we stayed, but it was Christmas Eve and the hotel was nearly empty. The hotel was hosting a large conference the second night, so there were no hot water problems that night. All together, very convenient to get to and from the airport and cruise terminal, and close enough to the city's sights so you can explore the city too. Lees meer

The room surprised me. You get used to tiny boxes in Europe. This was very roomy and very new and upscale. It was a very classy place. The fitness room was well equipped, also surprising. It did require about an 6 minute walk to the get to the nearest metro stop, but all in all I was very impressed

Good gym (by hotel standards), very positive energy level and light throughout the hotel. Bar was good and jazz music (Sat night) very enjoyable. Ramblas, Barceloneta easy walking (10 mins). Hotel staff accomodated my view request and really tried to help.

The hotel was really nice, the staff were always friendly and happy to help regarding any queries. We asked for a sea view which we received, in addition to this the room was really spacious and comfortable, although it did get a little warm at times. The gym facilities etc were also very good. Lovely hotel in a great location for a four day stay in Barcelona. Experienced and helpful staff, big clean rooms and a great bathroom (deluxe room on the 7th floor) Ok pool is on the small side but overall an excellent stay at the Grand Marina. I will definately visit this hotel again.

We had also stayed in the nearby Hotel Arts, which claims to be a 5 Star hotel and is not. The Grand Marina was far superior all around.

Used to budget hotels but this was something else. Really friendly and helpful staff. Did not use dining areas or bar however as it was beyond our budget for food. excellent rooms and accessories with probably the easiest tv to work in ages.

Great location,on the marina. Within walking distance to the beach and LA Rambla. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Some areas could do with refurbishing. Dining area excellent. On the negative side: breakfast very expensive. Little choice if you wanted an allergy free breakfast. Noise at night of moored cruise ships.

The front desk never answered the 2 times that I called for a wake up call. The telephones in the rooms were cumbersome to use. Otherwise, a perfect place and service. Will definitely return to Eurostars on my next Barcelona trip.

Hotel is in the marina/harbour area (where the cruise ships dock) so there is a good 15min walk to the start of most areas, but you can view this both ways ie it's quiet on one hand but you can't just stumble out to main attractions on the other. Very good base to explore the City. Open top tour buses start from out side the hotel (get on them from […] the Hotel as they are not as busy) good means of getting around the city as well as seeing all the attractions. Premier room was lovely but made even better with a City view. Restaurant/bar very formal may be too formal. Gym is good but pool small, just a plunge pool. Eurostars Grand Marina is a lovely hotel and the staff were friendly. However, the staff were not very helpful. They were limited in their ability to provide recommendations and reservations. The food in the restaurant was just good and overpriced. The carpets in the hallways were stained.
