My boyfriend and I wanted to stay in Scottsdale and we didn't realize this hotel would be so far away from Scottsdale Fashion Square. But it's actually located to some really good restaurants and there is shopping nearby. It's right next to Trader Joes (my favorite!) and the people who work there are very nice. Most reasonable in area due to local business meeting. Great facilities, skip the studio and get the 1 BDRM for the additional money- space, pillows, larger balcony, shower a huge upgrade over studio. Good luck finding parking during peak season. Thin walls/windows- you'll know that the neighbor has an early flight!!

We had a fully equipped one bedroom with kitchen and balcony that was perfect for a one week vacation. We used the pool each day and it was quiet and relaxing. The on site cafe offers a limited lunch and breakfast menu but our selection was great. I recommend this hotel for family vacation. My husband and I were pleased with our junior suite with kitchenette. We extended our stay and the hotel offered us an upgrade. Our 2 BD/2 BA suite was fabulous and beyond our expectations. Great rooms, great staff. Thanks!

I booked the room for a friend from Atlanta who was speaking at our bird club over the weekend. She wanted to stay in north Scottsdale, but our club has a tight budget. I wanted to be sure that her accommodations would not ruin her stay. It didn't. She loved the room and our club loved the rate. I loved my room. Hotel was nearly full, but the desk clerk found me a downstairs room, and I could park very near. The room itself was beautiful, very comfortable with all the amenities.

the service is nice. the locality where it is located is little bad..otherwise it's fine.

Great property for a stay in the PHX greater area. Rooms well appointed with plenty of accessories for a self contained stay for out of town visitors. Great value.

Extremely satisfied. The location is a bit secluded. That would be the only negative I would volunteer. As a whole, I invite anyone to visit and enjoy their holiday.

Really nice studio. We liked it!! I would stay here again. Had a fridge,kitchen sink and a 2 burner glass top stove in the room.

We just stayed four nights in a one-bedroom condo with our two children (2 and a half years old, and 10 months old) and found it perfect for our needs. There was some confusion about the internet --despite what Hotels.com said when I booked, it is $7 per DAY, not per visit -- but Bill at the front desk was able to come up with a solution in record time. […] The view out the window to the inner courtyard was lovely, and the kids had a great time at the spray park and kiddie pool. It was very close to our relatives, restaurants, and the shopping areas. All in all, we will be visiting this property again in the future! Lees meer

We had a studio, which was a queen bed plus sofa bed. Having the kitchen was helpful. They have two computers available for guest use in the common area, plus free laundry. The only problem we faced was the temperature in the pool and the hot tubs. The pool was too cold, and both of the hot tubs were scalding. We didn't use either of them. The concierge […] only tried once to talk us into a timeshare presentation, and she stopped harrassing us when we told her that we had no time in our schedule. We did have to be very firm that we were not interested, but there was only that one solicitation. Overall, we were very happy. If we ever return to Phoenix, we'd likely stay there again. Lees meer

The hotel is a timeshare arrangement. They asked when we got there about a presentation (they were willing to pay us something), but we were not interested and that ended it. There was no problem. We enjoyed the timeshare studio because it is a little larger than the standard hotel room and it actually had a complete kitchen. That always gives more […] flexibility with your food. The real problem we had was that the pool was closed for the week, including when we were there. I was impressed with the manager because when we complained about having to go to another hotel to swim and sun, he did not blow us off. He actually offered us another us another stay, subject to availability. He even upgraded us the second time around! I was amazed. Because they have showers and lockers in the changing rooms (really a small locker room) at the pool, we were even able to "overstay" by several hours, sunning at the pool. Then we just showered up in the locker room facilities before leaving. It worked out great. Lees meer

After reading the other reviews, I was prepared for a nice stay with an aggressive timeshare sell. I hate trying to get rid of sales folk, but it wasn't bad at all. We pulled up to the lobby and I left the car running since it was 110 degrees outside. After I got my room keys and started heading toward the car, a lady stepped out and asked if I had […] a moment, but I said I had to go since the car was running. Her face fell and looked like I'd hurt her feelings. They called each day and left a voicemail on the room phone reminding us of our welcome gift. They did get a hold of my mother who was staying in another room, but when they found out my dad wasn't with her, they left her alone. Apparently, you can't come to the timeshare presentation if your spouse isn't with you. So if you want to avoid the hassle, just tell them your husband's out for 18 holes or something :) We asked for renovated rooms and were not disappointed. Very spacious, fantastic view of the pools and really nice kitchen with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and our bathtub was huge. We had a one bedroom and mom had a studio. The studio balcony is not private. You share it with the next room. The pool is really nice with a good sized hottub adjacent. The kiddie pool is great and the splash/sprinkler zone was wonderful. We spent most of our time there. Only thing I noticed about the rooms was the carpet felt a little sticky/dirty. It was a high quality carpet, but probably needs to be cleaned more often. If you are particular about your toilet paper and paper towels, bring a roll of your own. It was great not having to get everyone up and ready and drive for breakfast. There is a Walgreens, Whole Foods and Bashas near the resort, though the signs are hard to see from the road. We'd stay here again and I'm glad to have my first timeshare sales experience over with. People complain about the sparse house keeping schedule (once every 4 days) I found this added an extra degree a privacy for both a business focus as well as for couples, since there was never the 10 o'clock house keeping knock. The place was immaculate with all one might need. blenders, microwaves, fridge, all spotless and like new.If one needs towels […] the front desk provides them. A compressor blew on the A/C the night before checkout and they swiftly changed my room, even sending a helper girl to move everything. Because the pool and some buildings were under construction, the deli was only open on weekends til 4 p.m. and not at all through the week. This provided an inconvenience for those without cars because the walking distance at 120 degrees isn't exactly walking distance. I take this to be a symptom of the construction underway and not the usual. Although each room has a DVD player, there's a 3.00 charge for those in the well stocked collection available. I was glad it was an option. It was a very comfortable stay. For quiet privacy, get a room facing the parking lot and the open field (on the other side of the pool). I feel the hotel was an excellent value for the money, but things to consider included: Pool was shut down, they provided shuttle to sister property We were on a 3rd floor room, and there are no elevators We were called to pick up a free gift at the front desk, which was a bag with two bottles of water, and the purpose of getting us to come to the front […] desk was to try to get us to commit to a 90 minute time share/vacation ownership presentation. They promised no hard selling and firm 90 minute time period. We had friends who did attend one, and they were there 4 hours. Overall still a good value for the money, staff was friendly, room was comfortable, and faciilties were safe and clean. Studio included refrigerator, microwave, all cuisinart coffee pot, blender, etc, and set of dishes and silverware. It looks like the one bedrooms and two bedrooms came with kitchen that included an oven/stove combo, and small washer and dryer. Lees meer

there were no wash clothes in the room, the motel was very hard to find, not well marked at all. The room itself was very nice and the service was good.

We just got back from there and the room/condo was fine. Everything was clean and worked. Biggest problem was the pool. It was really hot and they needed 3 pools to accommodate the numbers of guests. Some guest were rowdy and kids everywhere. You could not swim for there was no room.

The condo was very nice and much better than staying in a hotel. The unit was close to the pool and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place like home.

Great hotel! Nice rooms and awesome staff. Only complaint was that the pool closed at 10pm.

THIS WAS AN ENJOYABLE STAY. ROOM IS VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. SMALL KITCHEN. WELL STOCKED WITH EQUIPMENT TO COOK WITH. PROBLEM: CONNECTING DOORS TO ANOTHER ROOM. NOT SOUND PROOF. KIDS ATTEMPTING TO OPEN DOOR. OTHER WISE, GREAT STAY.

Pleasant,clean,pool,tennis,location great. One thing you should know - this is a time share place and your room will be cleaned one time in five days. Otherwise great place to stay and we will book there again.

This is a fantastic property. Beautiful pool area with friendly employees.

This is a quiet time share property. We own in Sedona. Very clean and usually quiet area, near open desert land. Note directions: from Scottsdale Road to Princess Drive. No access has ever been from Hayden Road.

Upon arrival we were subjected to loads of pressure to take in a time share presentation. I had to border on rudeness to get them to back off. The room we had needed redoing. The bed was great but the sofa was very tired and uncomfortable and the whole place cried out for redecorating. There was no sun at any time on the patio so we missed out on that […] part. I loved this property! At night it was so quite, I could here Coyotes howling. And it was convenient to everything. There were activities almost everyday for those who wanted to partake. The room was a perfect comfort - large bathrooms - plenty of space, pleasant staff. The time share option was offerred, but you could pass on that, if you wanted to […] turn down the free gift. The facility is very nice, close to Scottsdale attractions like Taliesin West, the Scottsdale Airport, Scottsdale Road shopping. It is not real close, but an easy trip to the Mayo Clinic. The property is new, well kept and the staff is great. I did not golf or use the pool, so I cannot comment on those facilities. We expected this to just be a normal hotel. The staff bothered us about sitting through a presentation even after we said no. The lady even tried to pull a guilt trip on us and say "I get credit if you sign up". It was fairly annoying. One 'no' should be enough. We finally just grabbed everything and walked out.

The first part of check in was fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Then we moved to the concierge.....He was fine until we told him we didn't want to attend his time share presentation in the morning, He just turned around and waked away. What a jerk.. No internet access, unless you wanted to pay for it. Put us right across from the laundry […] facility which was very noisy starting about 6:45 am. The pool side cafe did not offer adult beverages. I have stayed at the Villa Mirage 3 times. It is perfect for a woman traveling alone. Studio unit is nice size with all the things you need for preparing your own meals. Exercise room is great. Front desk is friendly. I feel safe. It is not near anything else so neighborhood is good.
