not 4 star hotel, at best 3 star. needs complete update

The hotel is in a great location and only around 5 euros bus ride from the airport which run every 10 minutes takes you a couple of minutes walk from hotel. We were fortunate enough to have a room with a terrace overlooking Plaza Catalunya which was fab so would recommend requesting one of those (although not guaranteed). The hotel is in a great location (across Plaza Cataluña) and our room was very comfortable. The room was clean and neat (nothing luxurious). The staff was helpful when we needed directions.

The hotel is really good, but unfortunatly something in the room triggered my asthma, I don´t know if previously the hotel allowed smoking in the rooms (people smoke a lot in Barcelona). But even so, is excellent.

Husa Barcelona is perfectly located for tourists doing the city. Immediately adjacent to the main square which has the buses to and from the airport (take the T1 for E5.50 each way which ends at Terminal 1 at the airport), the metro, and the entrance to La Rambla, the most walked street in town. Our room on the third floor was recently redone, tasteful colors, very good beds, and a very clean, modern bathroom with two sinks and lots of hot water. Internet from the room was free and worked. One can walk to the new cathedral, the Picasso, and the market off La Rambla. The metro is a five minute walk to go out to the museum, well worth seeing. Don't know how this hotel has 4*. It is 3* at most. No lobby, old lifts and not really well maintained. Great location though, but there are many other hotels in the area to choose from. I will certainly not go back.

The hotel was listed as a four star, but at best it was a three star hotel. I did not think that it was good value for money.

this hotel is 1 star the only good thing is the location the rest is terrible, i dont get how hotel like that get 4 stars....

We stayed at several other 4 star hotels in Spain and in Europe during our trip -- this hotel was underwhelming and definitely not a four star hotel. The hotel room was quite small and very noisy (from other guests in the hallway and in neighboring rooms). The particular room that where we stayed the toilet and the rest of the bathroom were in separate […] rooms -- while this is often the case in European apartments, it is unacceptable in a hotel room because you have to touch two door handles to reach a faucet to wash your hands. The design of the hotel was very cheap, the room furniture was very cheap. When a neighboring guest flushed their toilet... we heard the water running down the pipes. That is not acceptable in a four star hotel. Additionally, when a friend of ours visited the hotel and left a message there was no log or note of the time he left the message. I think this is a fine hotel for a night or two... but there might be better alternatives in the neighborhood. As for breakfast... skip the hotel, and head straight across the street to Bracafe! V good location staying with my daughter requested twin room with balcony had double with balcony the balcony was great bathroom basic shower above bath with mixer tap friendly staff expensive for what you get

This hotel is in a great location... its close to La Rambla, the Barri Gothic, and the Picasso Museum and it's also right next to one of the main metro stops where several lines stop that take you to all of the major sights like Sagrada Familia. The hotel was clean and convenient. The only complaint I have is the beds were hard as a rock. They also […] had a computer to use the internet for free but it wasn't working one of the days. The hotel was fine for an overnight stay but I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended time. I was told that they did not have bathroom amenities but found that they did, this was a pleasant surprise. It was very close to restaurants and shopping which was nice. In the future I would select a more family friendly area.

Husa Barcelona was at a perfect location for our brief stay in Barcelona. Located on a beautiful street with great restaurants located nearby. Room was immaculate and had a great view. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE HUSA HOTEL IN BARCELONA. VERY NICE STAFF AND FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE. THE HUSA HOTEL IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF ALL CAFE,S AND RESTAURANTS AND BARS AND SHOPPING, WE CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL HUSA.

perfect location... hate to leave!

Our stay at the Husa was great. It's in a fantastic location, and although it is loud like other reviewers posted, we knew what we were getting into. I'd trade the noise for the location and convenience anyday. We had a gorgeous view of the Placa de Catalunya, were in walking distance of pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, and had numerous subway […] stops around if we wnated to go further. Definitely the best choice! The hotel is at a great location: very close to the most interesting part of La Rambla, and around a 15 minute walk from the shore. It is also right besides a shopping mall, and close to a major metro stop if you decide to enter/leave the city that way (which is much cheaper than taxi). We were even able to purchase internet access for 10 Euros for the complete stay (most places have that as their daily rate!). The room rates are great as well. A great location, not far from the train and major shopping. Also only blocks from the main tour bus in Barcelona. Staff at the front desk was hit or miss some were very friendly others not so much. The Hotel is located only one block from the "city center" and has pleasant, larger than normal, European style rooms. The bathroom was large and new, pleasantly surprising us. The location is one block from where the airport bus shuttle as well as tour buses arrive and depart, usually within the quarter hour. There are nearly unlimited shopping opportunities including a grocery store in the basement of a very large department store located at the city center. The street the Hotel is located on is not busy and may be crossed easily to access the small coffee and Tapas shops across the street. Although the hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet, it is a pleasant experience using the local coffee shops nearby. The hotel does not have a lounge, dining other than breakfast, or room service. Cable TV is mostly Spanish with limited English programming but we were not in the room enough to watch much in any case. La Rambla avenue has wonderful small shops that come out at night and it is a pleasant walk. As in all cities, it is good practice to keep your valuables protected as there are those who will gladly relieve them from you if you are not vigilant, but we encountered no problem simply by being watchful. the hotel has a good location. good service. not a 4 star hotel. a little noisy....the windows need better seals to block the outside noises. overall it was good.

No coffee maker in room and the restaurant didn't open till 7 ish. . . had to catch an early flight!

Husa hotell Barcelona - close to Plaza Cataluna

Basic hotel room, definitely not 4 star, but a solid 3. But the location is GREAT. 3 minute walk to La Rambla, 5 minute walk to Gothic Quarter. In the other direction, a short walk to a few of the must see Gaudi things and lots of good restaurants and train lines around. Hotel front desk was very helpful and very polite. As for the area, visit Vinda […] Bar for the best wine bar in the Gothic Quarter with great wine and great prices. 3 minute walk from the Cathedral, and great food too. had brunch there as well as late nights with wine. I am an American business person and have traveled to Barcelona every year on business now for the last 7 years. I have stayed many places; right on the Las Ramblas, the Gothic area, the Port area and further into the city. The Husa Barcelona is the right combination of location, comfort and price. It is a 5-10 minute walk to Las Ramblas and Gothic […] area. It is also located on a side street this is quieter than the main streets which is nice. Good restaurant right across the street with reasonable prices. (The further away from Las Ramblas the less expensive.) The subway system as well as the regional train terminal is 2 blocks away. Very convenient. There is also a department store one block away with a grocery on the bottom level with everything you could want. Nice for drinks and snacks in your room. (Avoid the mini bar). The hotel is not flashy or fancy, just nice and comfortable. If you are expecting an American hotel experience, then you will be disappointed. I would compare it somewhat to a Comfort Inn or similar US chain. The rooms are smaller and a bit more "spartan" than you would get in the US. However, they are clean and well kept. My room had two full size beds pushed together to make it about a queen size and it was fine. The wireless internet service is good and free. Also had a nice desk area to work if you need to. There also is not a typical lounge per se, but then if you are looking for a drink and socialization, then walk across the street. Breakfast was typical European with meats, cheeses, pastries/breads, fruit, coffee and juices. It was simple and satisfying. The hotel staff were friendly and very capable. Good with directions and were helpful. Overall, my experience was good and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Lees meer

The hotel was in a lovely residential area, yet a block away from good shopping and a few blocks away from Las Ramblas. There were two really good cafe's located across the street, and the Metro Train was only 2 blocks away. Staff was very accommodating.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel- it was quite central but had't very many facilities on offer!! It was recommended through a friend but i don't think i would rush back

très central et donc très pratique. Deux inconvenients: contrairement à ce qui était indiqué l'hôtel n'accepte pas les chiens. De plus il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et l'air conditionné n'était pas encore en fonction. L'hôtel était satisfaisant mais un peu cher pour ce qu'il offre.

Hotel in posizione impagabile. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La struttura è un po' vecchiotta ma le camere sono molto ampie e pulite...forse un pochino calde. Complessivamente è stato un soggiorno piacevole.

立地はカタルーニャ広場からすぐなので最高でした。 夜遅くエアポートバスで到着しましたが徒歩ですぐで助かりました。往復エアポートバス利用でタクシーに頼らずお金が浮きます。 買い物したものを一旦おきに戻るのも苦ではなかったです。とっても便利です。 部屋は掃除がとても丁寧できれいで気持ちよく使えました。 旅行中に盗難にあってしまったのですが、保険会社に連絡したところ折り返しホテルにかけるとのことでしたのでフロントにその旨を伝えて部屋で待っていました。 しかし、１０分後フロントから電話があり、着信が２回あったが席を外していて出られなかったと言われ、この時点で少し疑問が・・・。 仕方がないのでまた旅行会社に連絡してもう一度かけて欲しいと伝えたのですが、待っても連絡が来ず・・・ フロントに聞きに行くと […] 電話はきていない、と。 なんとなく不信感が募りました。 また、日中荷物を置きに戻ると、エレベーターが2台とも待っても待ってもこず、掃除の方が使っているから、とのことだったので7階まで階段で上ることになり、飲料水等を持っていたのでかなりつらかったです。 また、エレベーターがタワーオブテラーみたいでした。 Lees meer

“設備は必要最低限で良いが、立地が良く便利で滞在中気持ちよく宿泊されたい方”にお薦めします。 ホテル自体は新しくありません。きれいにメンテナンスされてはいますが、設備は古めでアメニティも最低限の用意となっています。私たちが宿泊した際には、シャンプー・リンス・石鹸くらいで、歯ブラシ・ティッシュはありませんでした。もし宿泊される場合には日本より持ち込まれたほうが良いと思います。 しかし、立地はどこへ行くにも非常に便利です。子供連れでしたので移動はタクシー中心でしたが、それでもランブラス通りの散歩やカタルーニャ音楽堂、ピカソ美術館等徒歩で移動出来ました。 また、スタッフは自然な笑顔で気遣いして頂ける方が多く、気持ちよく宿泊することが出来ました。 立地・サービス・価格を重視されるならお薦めします。

Tyvärr har de flesta hotell bara en väggfast bänk/bord, som fungerar som tvbänk och skrivbord. Vill man ta sig ett litet glas eller koppla av en stund och sitta o prata eller liknande finns varken stolar/fåtöljer eller bord till detta. Så var också faller hhär, tyvärr. Annars bra hotell, bra sängar, liten reception, god service. Mkt bra läge.

Fint hotell med hyggelig betjening og med en plassering "midt i smørøyet" Flybussene stopper utenfor og det er gangavstand til mange severdigheter. Anbefales !

Har en stjärna för mycket men annars en helt ok hotel med bra läge, frukost för 13 euro är inte riktig värd pengarna. Tillmötesgående och hjälpsam personal.
