Hotel Ariston in Milaan

Hotel op een prima locatie in Milaan. Hotel ligt aan Via Torino (winkelstraat in het centrum). Dom, casteel en winkelgebied op loopafstand (ongeveer 15 minuten). Parkeerplaats is klein (max. 8 auto's), maar prima als er een plekje is; wij hadden geluk. Personeel spreekt goed Engels en is behulpzaam. Netheid van de kamer viel ons tegen; vloer was niet […] schoon. Kamer was ook redelijk gehorig. Ontbijt was prima voor een hotel van deze prijsklasse. The hotel had everything you would need for a citytrip of a few days , just a few minutes walking distance from the Duomo and Naviglio with Metro, grocery shop, other shops nearby. We selected this hotel because it was reasonably priced and within easy walking distance of the Duomo area. My wife and I traveled by car with our 3-year old daughter. Our purpose was tourism, and we were not disappointed with our choice. I've stayed in many hotels all over Italy and found the standard at the Ariston to be very good in its class. The […] hotel was well maintained, the room was clean and modern, the staff friendly and informative, and the breakfast quite hearty, although difficult to fnd seating at peak times. Within a 10-15 min walk from the hotel you have the sights around the Duomo area, and, in the immediate neighbourhood, plenty of shopping and restaurants. Really nice hotel - super great location: 5 min. walk from the Duomo but also close to the "real" Milanesian people hang-out places. The breakfast is also great. The rooms are a little small but are totaly worth the price. I recommend.

location of the hotel is good, the breakfast buffet is fantistic, we are so disappointed when we requested for the upper floor. However, The staffs in the hotel are helpful. The sound proof in the hotel is not really good, but good value for money in an overall.

Hotel Ariston is very comfortable and clean. It has everything you need - our room even had a walk-in wardrobe and jacuzzi bath (although we couldn't work out how to get the jacuzzi to work...). You can even walk there from the Central Station with no problem. The only down side to this hotel was that the air con did not work, the jacuzzi bath did not work and the room is very noisy at night if you don't shut the window (but with it shut, you'll have no problem sleeping). After a long day of sightseeing I settled onto the bed to work on emails, only to learn that I could not be given the code for the wiifi over the hotel phone, but would need to pay the $10.00 EU at the front desk and receive the code. I redressed, got the code and settle back to work. After repeated attempts to get a signal, I resorted to using a free, […] unlocked wi-fi probably belonging to a nearby resident. I was later told that the hotel has trouble with their wi-fi signal and they refunded my $10.00. I would like to have known before I purchased the code initially. Then, ready to head to bed I decided to fill the jacuzzi tub for a relaxing bath. Ready to turn on the jacuzzi and step into the tub I read the small sign on the wall that indicated the need to get a key from the front desk (also for $10 EU) that would turn on the jacuzzi. I decline and went to bed, after draining the full tub. The hotel is clean and in a great location, so if you don't care about service or additional costs its a great place to stay. Lees meer

nice hotel in a good location reasonably close to the centre of the city and the sites - within walking distance to most things- very helpful staff

This hotel is a very good option for a weekend break in milan. there's not much in the hotel, andis relatively basic and no frills, but as a base to explore the city it's fantastic. It's in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and the fashion shops. and right beside the Navigli area which is great for lively restaurants and night spots. […]  If you want to be pampered in a hotel I wouldn't go hear. I was attending a conference in Milan and so the central location of the Ariston Hotel meant I could walk to the meeting. However, trams pass in front of the hotel if required. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was obviously brand new. The breakfast was very good. I will recommend this hotel to other members of my organisation.

Wir hatten ein komfortableres dreibettzimmer zur doppelbelegung gebucht u gezahlt. Als wir im 23h ins Zimmer kamen waren wir in ein einfacheren Doppelzimmer das auch ok war aber nicht der Buchung u dem Preis entsprach. Statt einer Preisreduktion an nächsten morgen versprach man uns fürs bei der nächsten Buchung.... Das finde ich nicht korrekt. Lehre: […] das nächste mal das Zimmer erst nach 14h beziehen u überprüfen ob es mit der Buchung übereinstimmt ! Das Frühstück war gut u der Service sonst auch. Ebenfalls gut ist die Lage mit Strassenbahn direkt vor der Tür u diverse nette Restaurants in der Nähe. Gutes Preisleistungsverhälrnis wenn das Zimmer bekommt, das man gebucht hat. Lees meer

Vi blev uppgraderade till ett större rum vilket var mycket bra då vi reste med barn. Bra hotell med bra läge, god frukost. Det enda vi kan ha synpunkter på är att personalen i receptionen verkade prioritera telefonen framför gästerna..

Zimmer und Frühstücksraum neu renoviert; Frühstück ausreichend; WLAN für 3 Stunden kam 5 €; optimale Lage für Touren ins Stadtinnere - wir konnten alle Ziele erlaufen; dafür sehr laut im Zimmer;

I will divide my comments in two parts: The positive points about the hotel: it was near the historical places, clean room and bathroom, good breakfast, having free bikes to borrow, having a safe box in the room. The negative points about the hotel: Just 3 hours free access to internet, not friendly receptionists, location of it which is in a really […] noisy area with lots of sounds of trams, ambulances,... the thin doors that you could hear who ever passing in front of your door, hard beds. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä. Siisti hotelli ja sijainti hyvä eli lähellä nähtävyyksia sekä ostospaikkoa. Hintaan kuului aamiainen vaikka ei kovin runsas (valkoiset pöytäliinat, palvelu pelasi)

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Personal ist gererell sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht so gross (wir hatten ein 3 Bett-Zimmer), aber sauber (endlich Zimmer ohne Spannteppiche am Boden). Minibar, Safe, neues Badezimmer - sehr gut. Wir hatten Zimmer im 8. Stock zur Strassenseite hin. Wer lärmempfindlich ist, müsste wohl das Fenster […] geschlossen halten - da aber die Klimaanlage im Oktober stillgelegt war, liessen wir das Fenster offen und haben sehr gut geschlafen. Es gibt eine Bar im Haus und das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut ausgestattet. Parkplätze sind beschränkt vor dem Haus (müssten vor Anreise reserviert werden) und mit 20 Euro pro Nacht teuer. Aber Parkplätze in Mailand sind rar und eine Übernachtung im Parkhaus wohl eher noch teurer. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuss beim Mailänder Dom. In 200 Metern Distanz zum Hotel sind Tramhaltestellen der Linien 2, 3 und 14, die ebenfalls zum Dom führen. In der unmittelbaren Nähe des Hotels hat es diverse Geschäfte, gleich daneben ein gutes Restaurant und etwa 300 Meter entfernt einen Discounter. Für uns stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ausgezeichnet und wir können das Hotel Ariston jederzeit gerne empfehlen. Lees meer

Nous avons choisi de faire étape à Milan en revenant d'un séjour à Venise car mon épouse supporte assez mal les kilomètres. Malheureusement la pluie a limité nos visites. Hôtel bien situé à proximité du Dôme. GPS utile pour rouler à Milan et pour trouver l'hôtel.

Ett hotel som valdes beroende på pris och läge. Efter att ha besökt Milano några gånger och ditt mål är att bo bra, centralt och till ett rimligt pris måste Ariston anses som ett fullgott val. Rummen är traditionellt lite mindre, men håller en acceptabel nivå. Frukosten kan man säga är anpassad efter rummen, mindre, men där du finner det nödvändigaste […] för stå dig fram till lunch.
