great staff, very clean hotel for citytrips

this hotel is really nice although this hotel is 2stars, service and otherone are perfect. Seriously I recommand this hotel .

Stayed couple nights. We checked in late afternoon. The gentleman and the younger attendant were very nice. Next night, a shorter, older attendant said he needed my keys before leaving for dinner. I said "but I didn't hand them over before". He said "I'm saying you do". He was very rude and short - the only incidence I had on this trip and hotel. A great value in Florence; close proximity to all attractions. Breakfast was superb - specially the freshly squeezed orange juice (in your glass). The staff was friendly and responsive to all our needs. Will definitely stay there again!

The hotel was in a relatively good location. I had difficulty finding it because the map did not print well. Once I entered the hotel I was pleased to see it is more like a boutique hotel. Great value for money in the heart of Florence. The hotel is oldish but our room size was huge and the breakfast is fantastic. Yes, I agree with everyone else...the orange juice is a sensation! This Hotel was a really great find. It is in a great location, easy walking distance from the train station, five minutes from the Duomo and the beautiful Church of Santa Croce on the doorstep. It has a terrace with great views and my room even had its own little terrace. Really clean room, air conditioning worked well (can be controlled within the […] room to your own requirements). I did hear complaints about the fact there is no separate shower, but the bathroom is basically like a wet room, with a shower on the wall between the sink and the toilet with drainage and having stayed in Hotels all over Italy this is not unusual and was certainly not a problem. All the staff were really lovely and helped to make my stay that little bit more special. As a single traveler I felt very safe throughout my whole time here. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in Italy and in a room with a great view of Florence. Beautiful City and a great Hotel and I will definitely book this place again when I go back. I stayed at this location due to its central Rome location. However, I would recommend looking at other lodging options for similar price and location. The neigborhood is very suspect with loud traffic noise. Room itself was very small. Although the hotel office and rooms were scattered throughout several floors of the building, the room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was great! The staff and hotel clerk were exceptional with service and advise for directions and sites! We consider this all part of our fabulous adventure.

Centrally located- walking distance to the Domo.They have a sun room where you can have a clear view of the city. They also served a hearty breakfast which is crucial to a tourist on foot all day! very friendly staff.

I gave 5 points overall raiting because of the reception. The high point was the reception, the attendent named Ignacio was very polite, helpful, and gave for me and my familly all the assistance that we needed. To get in you have to press the 9 black little key things that are downstairs. There are no signs or instructions telling you to do so, otherwise you can't get in. After you get to the top floor, where reception is, everything becomes better. The rooms are small but reception is very nice/helpful. And the rooftop view is specatular. I stayed there for 5 days and they had the most wonderful breakfast, the cleanest rooms, the best staff, and the closest to everything! I will stay here again if I go back to Florence.

Hotel Bodoni is located near many of the tourist sites. The hotel is outdated but clean. Beds are very hard and the air condition in our room was poor. The staff was not motivated to do anything about our air condition. Lots of stairs to take luggage up and down on without any help from the staff. No on site parking and it's 26 euros a day to park in […] the garage. Breakfast was nice, infect probably the best thing about this place. Very friendly staff that makes this inexpensive hotel a great option. The room is very basicbut we had a private patio that we could peer out and see the largest dome of the Duomo. First of all, the hosts at this hotel, Romano and Paolo are just wonderful. They are very professional yet very down-to-earth and very helpful. And other staff are just wonderful, too. We stayed at bodoni for 3 nights. The location is great., its two min walk to Dumo, and less than 5 to Uffizi, .It is almost clean. although the bathroom was too small. But we had a good view.. In general, we liked the stay, and its god breakfast and the location :D

I had to stay one night in Florence by myself before meeting a friend there, and I had found this hotel online....not thinking it would be anything special. After an exhausting journey to Florence I was pleased to be greeted with a very friendly receptionist. My room (a single) was super tiny and the bathroom was half of a closet - but that was outweighed […] with the fact that I had a private terrace that overlooked the city - I had a gorgeous view of the Duomo and Santa Croce and the hills surrounding Florence. posizione dell'hotel ottima, a due passi dal centro. hall accogliente ma la camera lascia a desiderare, sopratutto il bagno; piccolo, senza bidet e doccia sul pavimento quindi si allaga tutto il bagno. Materasso troppo morbido e tv di fianco al letto, quindi impossibile vederla da sdraiati! Personale gentile. Hotel comodo x soggiorni molto brevi!

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen! Da kann man auch in unserem Zimmer auch die Dusche, die keine eigene Wanne hat, akzeptieren, zumal der Preis für Florenz sehr gut ist. Das Frühstück ist das BESTE , das ich in ganz Italien bekommen hab, und es gab immer noch mehr, falls etwas "fast" alle wurde. Das Personal ist freundlich. Kiva vanhassa ja arvokkaassa rakennuksessa sijaitseva hotelli. Huone oli vähän ahdas ja ilmastointia olisi kaivattu. Yleiset tilat olivat avarat ja siistit. Palvelu ystävällistä ja aamupala hyvä.

El hotel está en un 4to piso de un edificio en el centro de Florencia. Está muy bien para pasar un par de noches y estar por la ciudad. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero baratas. El desayuno está muy bien y la atención también.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Wir haben 4 Nächte ubernachtet. Bett komfortabel, zimmer sehr sauber. Nachts konnten wir sogar mit offenem Fenster schlafen, da es nicht auf die Strasse ging, aslo war es sehr ruhig. Hat aber sogar eine Klimaanlage. Es ist super gelegen, etwa 7 min vom Dom. Kann eigentlich alles zu Fuss machen. Frühstück auch […] genial, mit einem grossen frischem Buffet. Brötchen, Käse, Schincken,Croissant, Kuchen, Flakes, Joghurt, frische Füchte und frisch gepresster Orangensaft. Auch Tee, Cappucino,.. einfach lecker. Was für Italien sehr Selten ist. Auch das Personal ist sehr frundlich und hilfsbereit. Also ich kann es nur weiter empfehelen. Die Zimmer sind halt sehr einfach kein Luxus aber es genügt. Sauber und bequem ist es! Lees meer

The hotel lies at the 4th floor in the middle of Florenze. The top terrasse is a wonderfull place to lie down with a glass of redwine and some cheese and have the beautiful spot over Florenze after a fantastic day in the city. Service is tiptop and the small rooms are cosy especially the little terrasse in your room.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, etwa im Schnittpunkt aller Sehenswürdigkeiten und leicht vom Bahnhof zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es bietet mehr, als man es von einem 3-Stern Hotel erwarten kann.
