got a great rate on this place for our trip to the dakotas. we showed up and the concierge was nowhere to be found (at 530pm). we checked in and the room was tidy with the only issue being really outdated. ok, not too much a problem, but all the rooms open to a central atrium with the pool at the bottom. with several kids making lots of noise and heavy […] chlorine smell in it, it makes it easily into your room. we slept well, once it quieted down, and breakfast was included. the food was lighter than other places we'd stayed, but we did have to go somewhere else for coffee. brown colored hot water as far as we thought... i'm not against going back, but i'd try somewhere else first. Staff extremely accommodating and friendly.

The suite that we got didn't look anything like the picture on the website. The suite had two old lazy boy chairs in front of the t.v. and no nice sofa in a sitting area. The breakfast was very limited. Will not be chosing this hotel during our next trip to visit my mom.

I normally stay at the Holiday Inn convention center. The stay at the Super 8, was fine. We don't normally use the hotel amenities ie: pool or spa, so the convenience of the room was good. The bed was very comfortable. The politeness of the staff was good. All-in-all, our stay was satisfactory. I will use Super 8 again, if available

This was a great place to stay. The only thing I didn't like was the firmness of the bed. Kids loved the pool and the breakfast.

This has been one of the nicest Motel 8's we've stayed in. Reminded us of a Caribbean resort with the pool in the middle of the hotel. Would stay here again for sure.

This was the best Super 8 I have ever stayed it. Families will like the indoor pool area. I liked the lay out of the hotel. The wireless in the room did not work. I was there for only one night so I did not push the issue. I recommend this location for families for certain. It was great. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The water pressure was fantastic. I loved the hotel layout. Everything was very easy to find and the staff was very friendly

The motel has a large central swimming pool, with smaller paddle pools, and this seems to be a big hit with traveling families. The noise, though, comes right into the rooms, so be prepared to deal with that until the pool closes at ten. Also there was a lot of door slamming and hall noise that came right in. This was a very nice Super 8. The staff was very helpful and pleasurable. The rooms were comfortable. I especially liked the rooms opening up to the pool area, very unique I thought.. My family will definitely visit this motel again.

This motel is centrally located for the activites we enjoy or even the business we conduct when we are in the area. It is always clean & the people are friendly. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN!

Great motel for an overnight stay, pool & hot tub were better than most high end motels. Continential breakfast was very good.

The hotel needs to put a Fridge in all rooms instead of just having them on the ground floor. Should have a elevator. Over all the accomadations are okay for a short stay.

This whole hotel is built in around an atrium-like area that contains a pool. Our room was on the "ground" floor (actually, below ground level) and the door opened right into the pool area (as do all the room doors, although higher floors open onto balconies in the same space), and the humid, chlorine-saturated air comes right into the room, as does […] the echoing noise from the kids playing in the pool. The room itself was okay, but it was not even that great of a deal, so the not-so-ideal pool set-up and the somewhat remote location made me wish I had chosen a different hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. For the rate we paid, it was a real value. Good for a one/two night stay but not longer.

Hotel is OK for exterior, I like the courtyard. Swimming pool is good size and is indoor. Reception is helpful with good recommendation. Room size for suite is slightly small and start to see wear and tear. Breakfast is not really good compared to hotel that i stayed in this trip.

Our room was very clean and we only have one somewhat minor complaint about our stay. All rooms in the motel are "pool-side". The pool is in the center of the motel and all of the rooms face the pool. Our issue with this was that we had to smell chlorine every time we left our room and we could hear the pool commotion all evening long. Our first visit to South Dakota, we stayed at various places from a pricey lodge to here to see what the best deal for our dollar would be for next visit. Super 8 gave us more amenities than the high priced lodge. Room includes coffee maker, cable TV, microwave and small fridge, which was more than we had at the the more pricey lodge. Our room was on the first floor, so we had pool noise and heard people dragging their luggage down the stairs and walking above us. Very hard to sleep in. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very friendly--except cleaning people. They smoked in front of the entrance, so very unprofessional.
