I came to Phoenix on Thursday to see the Coyotes play game one of the playoff series. Nice hotel room, reunited with old friend, followed by Coyotes win in overtime, I'd have to say the whole trip was a 5!

I had a room just outside the pool. I was woken up at 1:30am by idiots partying at the pool. I understand the hotel needs to make money and fill their rooms but they need to lock the pool to prevent idiots from having drunken parties. Also asked for non-smoke room. The room clearly was a smoking room doused with Aqua-Velva.

Very smoky everywhere, lots of downstairs rooms were smoking allowed, cigarette butts everywhere. Could not get away from cig smoke. Pool was very noisy until 10:00 pm both nites. Lack of parental supervision, most parents were drinking beer poolside. No concern for other guests. Lack of extra pillows and towels. Overall a very bad experience. Will […] not recommend to others. Easily accessible hotel; friendly front office staff very willing to give information on nearby restaurants. Housekeeping staff very pleasant and did magnificent in care of this large well equipped room. The pool: however, does require daily attention. We were in town for Spring Training. Clearly choosing a hotel based on price is a bad idea. Spend the money on a decent hotel and eat cheap food. The location is inconvenient to say the least, the accommodations felt threadbare and worn down, and I felt dirty the entire stay--even when I was taking a shower! I stayed here three days, using it as a base of operations. I don't think I like Phoenix, so that might be why I call the neighborhood sketchy. This motel was clean and the staff quite competent. This is a cheap motel and everything about it screams cheap motel. There was a used condom on the floor of our room when we checked in. Housekeeping doesn't speak English and obviously don't clean very well. The mattresses are beyond cheap, my husband found the floor more comfortable. Being right next door to Kmart was a plus. I paid a very low rate for my stay - which seems not unusual for this hotel. The surrounding neighborhood was definitely a bit shady, but I wasn't there to walk, just to have a convenient place to work and sleep. It is definitely not a "family vacation" type hotel, and I would suggest it more for business/convenience/price purposes. This is a perfectly good budget motel. The room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints, will stay here again.

Because I was on a budget by the end of my trip, I had to downgrade. Never again! I will definitely pre-plan next time. From the start I felt uncomfortable. Because I checked in after dark, I had to talk to the front desk rep. through a glass window. That puts up a red flag(security issues). Then I notice a sign on the wall that says to the effect, […] customers must register their car or it will be towed because Phoenix Police are always looking for stolen vehicles(red flag #2) So my car remained by the front desk at night. Even though I had to walk across the parking lot, I felt a little more comfortable with my car there. So I got to my room. The rooms just look worn. I guess that what motels are like. The room was supposed to be no ,smoking,,smelled of smoke,,even had cigarette burns in the carpet,,the other tennants were not as upstanding as I expected..someone tried to break in my car during the nigh,,,even tho I didn't leave anything in there,,was glad to leave,,Hope this helps to fix some of the problems

Definitely not the Ritz, but clean, economical, close to freeway; being next to Kmart was handy

For a place to lay your head down at the best price in town Super 8 is just fine. Located right off the highway, can walk to Kmart for food, beverages, etc.. Had some remodeling being done at my home and this was perfect to get some work done and sleep uninterrupted.

We were promised a non-smoking room, but the one we were given smelled like old stale smoke. It has not been cleaned properly. Definitely a poor choice as a place to say.

During our trip from Nevada to Arizona we found a nice hotel with a reasonable price for one night accommodation

The guy at the counter just looked at me and said, "You asked for a room for one adult", and I responded that I had a ride but yes it was. The clerk looked outside and actually said, "Well I guess the room has already been paid for so here is your key - visitng hours end at eleven pm, hotel policy." Seriously?? Both of the gentlemen at the desk were very helpful and courteous. My wife had to have surgery and they gave me directions and local info that made my stay less tramatic. Would stay there again.

I didnt expect that the hotel would look nice inside and out. The location was hard to find. The employees were friendly. They clean my room everyday for our 3 nights stay. But before handing them my payment i asked if i could check and see the room first. I didnt want to stay if the bathtub, ac, sink dont work. All in all it was a nice hotel. We had similar rates to choose from so I told my wife I have never went wrong with Super 8. There is a first time for everything. Although the staff was friendly and the room was clean, the bed was so worn there were springs poking through. If that was not enough, we awoken by loud guests at 3:00am who refused to quieten even after being asked. Great price for an average room. Very convenient. Room was clean, staff friendly.

Close to freeway, local stores and Restaurants. The grounds were picked up and free of trash.

Room was clean and comfortable, a very pleasant experience, staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Our stay at this hotel was a quick one, so we didn't really look around too much. However, when we did step outside, all we saw were prositutes and drug addicts hangin around the hotel next door. The pool was probably all this hotel has to offer.

It's great. The bed could have been changed out. Kind of lumpy but certainly not bad. The neighborhood isn't bad with plenty of parking for semis and trailers. Very safe, patrolled area. For the price, we were satisfied. Once on Freeway it was not that difficult to find. We were glad we had a GPS, however. Since our baggage was not received on the flight that we came in on, and we had to go back to the airport before we continued on to our final destination. The cost was unbelievable for the level of service and condition of the room provided. The location is ideal for a full tour of the greater Phoenix area.

I travelled for business and only really slept in the hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. Towels etc were replaced everyday. Receptionist was fantastic! She could work in a 5 star hotel - very very good.

Good place if you just need somewhere to stay for a night or two, overall hotel conditions were fair but i didn't need any services besides a place to stay so it was fine with me. If you're easily turned away from "ugly" looking places or you're traveling alone, or if one misplaced or broken item offends you then this might not be a place for you.
