Het Casa de la Condesa is in vele opzichten een prima hotel. Vooruitgeboekt heeft het een goede prijs/kwaliteit, de kamers (vooral de aan de voorzijde gelegen mastersuites met balkon) zijn ruim en comfortabel, het personeel is zeer aardig en behulpzaam en de locatie is aan het 'groene' plein - zeker 's ochtends - uitstekend met z'n terassen voor koffie en Mexicaans ontbijt. Er zijn echter ook wat minpunten en zaken te verbeteren. Wat betreft de fysieke toegankelijkheid voor mindervaliden (met rolstoel; iets waarop wij het hotel hadden geselecteerd) kan ik simpel zeggen: dikke onvoldoende! Entree van het hotel vanaf het trottoir bestaat uit 3 treden en een onbruikbare hellingbaan (te steil, te smal en geblokkeerd door plantenbak). De lift is te klein voor een normale rolstoel, dus beensteunen moeten er elke keer af. Het restaurant is niet bereikbaar in rolstoel want gangetje is te smal en er is een flinke opstap. De badkamer is niet toegankelijk met rolstoel (iets wat was voorzien) maar is tevens zeer krap. Het personeel maakt hierbij veel goed: ze waren ondersteunend bij het in en uit de rolstoel moeten en brachten het ontbijt op de kamer - zonder kosten. Het ontbijt was overigens zeer eenvoudig voor Mexicaanse begrippen (jus, toast/jam en vers fruit). Grootste ongenoegen zou kunnen zijn dat in de kamers aan de achterzijde (wij hadden daar eerst een kamer maar vanwege een voortdurend verstopt toillet zijn we verhuisd) de geluidsoverlast van de bar beneden behoorlijk is. Maar ja, het is wel Mexico-stad en Roma Norte is een uitgaanswijk. Slotconclusie is dat dit hotel in een stad als Mexico-stad een goede uitvalsbasis biedt met een redelijke tot goede waar voor je geld.

Ik had specifiek een tweepersoonsbed gereserveerd, maar bij aankomst bleek ik een kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden te krijgen. Ik heb moeten praten als Brugman om te krijgen wat ik wilde. Geen goed begin. Toen het gelukt was alles OK.

UItstekende lokatie voor van alles;cultuur,terrasjes,restaurants,winkels.Heel fijn en mooi is het zwembad op het dak.Prettig om te kunnen relaxen na een vermoeiende sightseeing toer.Kamers ruim en netjes,personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Goede stille airco,lekkere wijn in de bar,prima ontbijt.Aanrader.

Hotel Imperial is aan te raden: erg mooi, gastvrij, mooie locatie, netjes en prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed.
Ligging.
Hilton Mexico City Reforma ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in het hartje van Mexico-Stad, dicht bij Alameda Central, Torre Latinoamericana en Paleis voor Schone Kunsten.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hilton Mexico City Reforma heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, 2 spabaden, een onoverdekte tennisbaan en een healthclub. In openbare ruimtes is tegen betaling een internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) beschikbaar. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en vergaderruimtes. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 3 restaurants plus een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en zakelijke diensten regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een binnenzwembad, een buitenzwembad en een dakterras. Tegen betaling zijn er een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Hilton Mexico City Reforma heeft 458 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van MP3-dockingstations en een (laptop)kluis. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van de draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een flatscreentelevisie met premium kabelzenders en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een aparte badkuip en douche, make-up / scheerspiegels, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer heeft een minibar en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een wekkerradio. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals massagebehandelingen op de kamer, hypoallergeen beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden en een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Hilton Mexico City Reforma"
I've stayed in several hotels in this area and the Hilton is one of the best. The location is excellent. The staff was wonderful. The room was perfect. No problem if you speak little or no Spanish. And, I upgraded for $40 per night and was moved to 26th floor and had an amazing view of Mexico City! Plus, the upgrade included entry to a special dinning […] room for free breakfast and a light dinner. Again, with an amazing view--especially at night. "Excellent hotel with great views."
This was our first visit to Mexico City and the hotel was an excellent choice, making us feel right at home. The location is convenient for many of the sites and is not far from some wonderful neighborhoods. My only complaint would be the hours of the fitness center, which is excellent, but was only open until 5 pm on the weekends and not late enough […] during the week. "TRULY WONDERFUL STAY"
The conceige personnel were Fantastic. I accidently left my suit bag in my car at the airport. When I arrived at the hotel the conceige walked me to a men´s clothing store and assisted me in selecting a suit... and getting it altered while I waited...WOW!!! I accidentially left a 500 peso bill on the table while having breakfast in the Terrace Restaurant […] only to have it returned to me in my room..DOUBLE WOW!! Good place to star, either for business or pleasure; the room and the food at restaurant was excellent!. I definately recomend it; About the price I think Hotels.com may offer a better rate for this hotel in comparison with the rate offered directly in the same hotel, which is the same.

"Hilton Reforma - CentroHistorico"
Stayed in a Delux King room and was very pleased with it. Three house restaurants, one of which has mexican traditional and gourmet faire. Another, DON, has an excellent breakfast buffet. Walking distance to many museums, sites and downtown shopping. Easy taxi ride to Zona Rosa and Polanco areas which are off Reforma.

I booked breakfast included and when I printed my voucher off the confirmation screen it deleted breakfast included and this became an issue at the hotel and they would not offer it until I produced the confirmation. There is a flaw in Hotel.com systems which confirms by email what you bought, but eliminates the extra services such as breakfast when […] you print the voucher. Plus the telephone number for hotels.com on the voucher from Mexico are useless. So I wasted four hours trying to solve this problem with no help from anyone. The hotel bath tub had hair in it. The room did not have a remote for the TV and so time waiting and time fixing. Who pays for that? We did have a lovely dinner at the hotel in the resturant Vino. It was A+++++ Lees meer
Excellent hotel and location. Very friendly people.
Very nice sundeck terrace with trees and shrubs planted in very large pots with garden design , and a lap pool besides an indoor pool. Very large deluxe rooms and view on the corner stack facing the Alameda and Bellas Artes Theater.

"Mexico City Hilton Reforma -close to the Alameda"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hilton Reforma. The rooms were very comfortable, clean. It is a 5 star accommodation. The Hotel was well located near the Alameda Park and walking distance to the Zocalo. The staff were very friendly and the concierge was always very willing to help with our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed four nights in this hotel. Great location near Palacio de Bellas Artes and in the historic downtown area. The concierge staff was very helpful as we planned our daily outings, rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Staff were friendly and brought us a roll away bed so the kids could sleep sepearately. I am an architect - I'd like to think a good judge of hotels (having designed a few). This hotel is very sophisticated, elegant with a great roof deck/pool area. My wife and I had an outstanding room - room service was exceptional. Overall, it was a great way to start our vacation in MC. The only draw back is the fronting street is busy and a little […] scruffy, but hey- it is Mexico City. The room was clean, large, and well appointed. I have stayed in other '5*' hotels in the city, and this was way ahead. For what I paid, it was an outstanding if not rediculously good value. Lees meer

"Sheraton Historico now known as Hilton"
This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It is just blocks from the Zocolo and Templo Mayor. The greatest Street Tacos and Tortas are just outside the hotel. Everything is close by and you don't need a car. If need be, hire a taxi from the hotel and the rates are reasonable and the taxi drivers are quasi tour guides. "Un solo pero"
La verdad es que mi estancia en este Hotel ha sido satisfactoria, incluida la experiencia de encontrarme con un terremoto de 7.8 en plena habitación y con un personal realmente entrenado y preparado para un evento de esta magnitud, todo fué perfecto. El único "pero" que yo le pongo es que para ser un hotel premium se deba pagar el wifi aparte además […] un precio bastante alto, ese detalle no me gustó, prefiero que lo incluyan en el precio y ya está. He estado en Santo Domingo en un hotel también de 5 estrellas y el wifi estaba incluido en todos sitios, y eso creo que es un valor añadido a la hora de elegir un hotel de trabajo. Lees meer
