Sunrise Suites Resort in Key West

We hadden een heel apartement en dat was erg prettig. Het ligt ongeveer 20 minuten vanaf het centrum van Key West, dicht bij het water. Alles was wat ouder maar keurig hoor.

Dit is geen hotel in de strikte zin van het woord; eigenlijk zijn dit condominiums (appartementen); Niet echt proper naar onze normen. We zijn een gezin met 5; 1 persoon moest in een uitklapbed in de living. Er is een keukentje maar ik zou niet echt aanraden hier in te beginnen koken. Er is geen ontbijt voorzien. Een leuk hotel, zeer leuk om niet in de drukte van het eiland te zitten, alles perfect verzorgd, ruime parking geen last van de luchthaven, een leuke aanrader om toch wat rustig te zitten.

Excellent rate. We went to Key West with a group of 6. Everyone was accommodated well. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen with all essentials (plates, cups, cookware, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, etc), pull out sofa bed. Definitely enjoyed the stay. Quiet location. Short drive to all hotspots.

The room was very nice. It was clean. The room is just like the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. The hotel is not within walking distance to restaurants, attractions, etc., but is a short drive or taxi (5 - 10 minutes) to anything on Key West. The staff is very nice and helpful. We were going […] to arrive later than 8:00 p.m., when the office was closed, we called ahead and they arranged for us to get our room and check in the next day, without problem. The hotel is located close to the airport. Our room overlooked the marsh area and the airport in the distance. Although we heard the occassional plane take off when we were on the balcony, we never had any noise in the room. I would recommend this hotel and will be staying there again on my next trip to Key West. Lees meer

good 2-bedroom apartments, excellent for big groups. not ideally located, but since Key West is small was not bad to drive to downtown

This was the second time we stayed at sunrise suites resort both times with another couple. The place was just perfect for a overnight stay with friends.

We had a problem with our rooms and they ended up canceling them without or permission. We had 12 guests staying in one room because the hotel sold our other room in a matter of 5 minutes. Desk person at the hotel had no clue what she was doing and was very rude.

It was a great place to stay. The only draw back was that they closed the pool at 8 PM every night.

This was a nice clean place to stay and I would stay there again. The staff was wonderful. The only thing that could have been better was a bigger sign stating where the hotel lobby is. We drove by it two times. Thanks.

The hotel was adequate. The room was sufficient, but nothing special. There were some very loud people on the floor above us and their noise made it difficult for us to sleep. The staff told us they were not renting from the resort so there was nothing they could do about it. It is old and very dated. The towels, bedding, furniture could use major […] updating. The hotel is adequate, but everything in it is old and needs replacing. It is very near the airport and you will hear the airplanes in and out all day. That said, it was ok for the price in prime time. Front desk was responsive and dealt with some of our maintenance issues, but others will take longer. Makes me wonder why housekeeping didn't notice […] the broken sliding screen door, broken toilet handle, damaged faucet in the kitchen. The pool was nice as was the hot tub, though both were small. The facility was rather far from Duval Street compared to most places, but was still just a few minutes from the madness. I wouldn't stay there again. Lees meer

There was no Wi-Fi available in the room. I did advise the front desk twice of the situation. Each time they said they were sending someone to fix the problem. Nobody showed up. They didn't care...And the place was quite outdated for the price.

The unit we stayed in was just fine. The furniture was a little dated and worn, but acceptable. Basically clean. Good location. Was perfect for our needs. We all felt safe and comfortable.

This was my 3rd year at Sunrise Resort. The place has always been very pleasing, and we would go back for a 4th visit. I have never had a bad experience at the resort. It is close to the airport, but everything is close to the airport in Key West. The resort is peaseful at night and not alot of noise in the hallways.

A great condo (this is not a hotel). Two rooms, 2 baths, kitchen, clean, nice pool.

Perfect set up for us and our friends with the two bedroom, two bath condo. However without a car we had to use taxis to go to anywhere. Still, it was just fine.

Elevators reeked. Room dirty. Furniture old. Strong smell of disinfectant in room. Wifi very weak. Lobby closed and locked up at 8:00 pm,doesn't open until 9:00am. Price was relatively cheap, but really not worth the savings. Stay somewhere else!!

The condo room, #305, was dirty, unkempt and needed major updating. The carpet had "ripples" and was dirty to the point that we did not take our shoes off. The ceramic tile was "grungy", the curtains were water damaged and frayed. The patio door was difficult to open and was noisy. Our experience was not good. We would never book there again. The furniture is old and the tvs are outdated. The bedding is worn and old. The carpeting was torn and rumbled. The tile on the floors looked dirty, not scrubbed and clean.

Our group of four was very comfortable and pleasantly surprised with the comfort of our accommodations. The beds were comfortable which is very important factor in traveling.

The condo was a nice size and the beds were pretty comfortable but, it lacked in kitchen supplies and the balcony was very tiny. There were no baking pans or pot holders! I don't think the maid mopped the floors before we came. We noticed our bare feet got dirty the first night. The pool was wonderful. But, the beach area was pretty small.

We arrived after the check in time (4:00-8:00), so reception was closed and it took us almost an hour to find the office because there are 4 resorts in the complex. Once we found the office and the keys taped to the door, it took us another 15 minutes to find our room. The room was accommodating but needed updating - outdated furniture and broken patio […] table top. Kitchen was very clean and convenient. This complex is at the opposite end of Duval Street, so you need to drive or rent bikes. It's what I expected for the price. The pool was green but the landscaping was well maintained. We were within easy driving distance to the trolley which we took to the historic district.We enjoyed fixing some of our meals in the complete kichen. The TV's were flat screen. Overall it was a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The condo worked great for what we needed, four adults two competing in the Bone Island triathlons. The rooms could have been cleaner, the window frames were dirty when I opened them up. I found a hair tie under the dust ruffle, so it was not well vacuumed. The kitchen and the bathrooms were fine. condo rental - not a hotel stay. very clean and comfortable. full kitchen with a little coffee packet to use in the coffee maker each morning. great location if you want to be away from the bustle of old town when it's time to wind down.

We recently stayed for an overnight visit to Key West. We were traveling with another couple and decided to seek a two bedroom suite. The location was away from the downtown area but a quick 5 minute drive. The first impression of the property was that it was in a nice area, even the outside of the building looked nice. It didn't take long to realize […] that the inside of the property was poorly maintained. Walls were painted with different paints, baseboards were not cleaned, kitchen microwave and stove were greasy. The furniture was so old and outdated that we even hated to sit on it. The whole place just felt "dirty". It is too bad because it was nice to have a larger unit ( 2 bedrooms, 2 baths) but it was poorly maintained. Lees meer

No one at desk after 7 PM to assist with problems. At 2 AM when the floor around the toilet was wet - no one to assit with the problem. Reported it the next morning- they sent someone in to repair- he left the garbage all over plus the dirty towels he used to dry the area. No one around at 9:30 PM when all four room keys did not open our suite door […] and both emergengcy numbers said to call back between business hours of 7 to 7. Antique finish on furniture was a build up of dirt , more than furniture stain. Lees meer
