Knights Inn Chattanooga in East Ridge

I put up here to break my long journey to Orlando. It was conveniently located off I75. The reception was smelling bad and my kid was actually blocking his nose all the time while passing the reception. The room had microwave and fridge which was convenient. This hotel was a complete joke. I felt as though my husband should have left me money on the nightstand. The room was trashy. Everything they said I'd have in the room was a lie. We had 1 towel and the bed was dirty and had cigarette burns on the blankets.

The place was dirty. As soon as we walked into the lobby to check-in, cigarette smell was all over the place. Not even in a no smoking room did we sleep odor free. Unfortunately I could not leave having prepaid. The carpet was very dirty; I could feel it stick to my foot as I walk.

The only pleasant thing was staff and the price was cheap. Outside looks good. Inside the motel is a different story. Dirty. Easy to see the place has had no attention in a very long time. Knobs missing off drawers. No bulbs in lamps. Towels of poor quality. Uncomfortable old full size mattress and box springs ( was expecting queen size ). No refrigerator […] or microwave. No phone or clock in the room. Pool area looked like a greenhouse and temperature inside was hot, hot, hot. No I would not stay there again Lees meer

The place was super nasty full of roaches! smelled like smoke...

This is the worst hotel I have ever been. There is a real problem with roaches all over the place, even in the freezer. Carpet is too old and smells like hell.

one of the things we wanted in a room was pool. they had one but it was closed waiting for inspection. the cable went out along with the wifi. There was soap still on the tub when we checked in along with small black hairs on the shower walls. we only slept there and stayed out the rest of the day. so for the price I guess it was ok for that reason. […] The staff was all very nice. i stayed for 2 nights and had no maid service i had to go the front desk to get towels

I'VE NEVER BEEN TO SUCH A FILTHY HOTEL! MOST OF THE LIGHT BULBS WERE BURNED OUT, THE FLOOR LAMP HAD THE CORD WRAPPED AROUNT THE POLE OF THE LAMP. DIDN'T LOOK SAFE TO PLUG IN. STAINS ON THE SHEETS. The main reason we chose this hotel is because we wanted an indoor pool for the kids. When we arrived and ask what time the pool closed we were informed that the pool was down and did not know when it wouldbe repaired. Then we get to the room and there were no towels or wash cloths and we were suppose to have a room with 2 queen beds and both beds together […] barely make 1 queen. We had a room for 5 people and when I went to ask for a role a way bed I was told that they were all checked out and was given the stuff to make a pallet on the floor. The air was barely working then when I went back to the front desk to get more towels and was given 2 wash cloths and told that was all they had clean. We have stayed in a hotel several times over the last 20 yearsand this was the worst experience we have ever had. I would not reccomend this particular hotel to anyone. Lees meer

I booked this room for our large family because it had enough space for a reasonable rate. I read a review on hotels.com with a great recommendation, but we were very disappointed. The price was resonable but the entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke

We didn't have bath towels in our room. No extra toilet paper. For breakfast, I had to ask for more milk and syrup that had run empty. The walls are VERY thin. I could hear people and kids all night long. The room wasn't dirty, but is wasn't clean. This hotel looks nice on the outside but is very outdated.

Finding the hotel was hard because the address is combined w/ another hotel, Crown Inn. I waited for 20 min at the front desk for the attendant to show up to check in. I had to fill out some paper work, mostly car info. The res was for 2 people, but there was only 1 towel in the room. It took awhile for the same attendant to get another towel. The smoke […] detector was laying on top of the clothes hanger rack, not attached to the wall and may not even have worked. It at least wasn't wired up. The indoor pool is really an outdoor pool w/ an enclosure built around it. Parking was overcrowded. When shaving in the morning, a cockroach ran across the mirror. Enough said. STAY AWAY!!!! It was the worse 2 ½ nights I spent there. I was miserable and the hotel smelled awful. The smell actually stuck to my clothing. People were smoking in the non-smoking hotel rooms and the service was just awful. If you really looking for comfort and good quality you should really go to another hotel.

Ok SO WHEN YOU BOOK A ROOM AS CHEAP AS THIS YOU BEGIN TO WONDER WHAT YOUR WALKING INTO. UPON ARRIVEL I WAS IMMEDIETLY IMPRESSED. I HAD RESERVED A 2 QUEEN BECAUSE THE WEB SITE SAID THEY HAD NO KINGS NON SMOKING AVAILABLE. SO WHEN I CHECKED IN I ASKED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK IF THEY HAD ANY KING ROOMS AVAILABLE. SHE INFORMED ME THEY DID AND THAT THEY […] COULD PUT ME IN ONE FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. ONCE I GOT TO MY ROOM I DID RECIEVE A KING ROOM WITH A SLEEPER SOFA. MY ROOM WAS CLEAN AND VERY SPACIOUS. I HAD A SMALL PROBLEM WITH MY TV AND THEY FIXED IT IMMEDIATELY. MY ENTIRE STAY AT THIS HOTEL I GOT MORE THAN I WAS EXPECTING.I WOULD RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO HAVE A NICE LITTLE GET AWAY ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET. It could sure use an update, but for the money it was about what you would expect

The room was comfortable, check in out out was done in seconds, and had several resteraunts within just a few minutes driveing distance. The few minor problems I had, aren't even worth mentioning.

Two lamps and the alarm clock were not plugged in because there were no outlets available. There was a bracket for a hair dryer but the hair dryer was missing. The tissue holder was empty. There was spilled food still on the carpet. There was a used wash cloth left hanging on the shower rod.

I am highly impressed by the quality of service provided by the staff in the night.

This hotel is ok for the money and purpose. I just needed a place to sleep. It served it's purpose. I would not plan a vacation staying here. The staff were very friendly and nice. The room looked a little run down and had a bad smell to it. The curtains did not close correctly and there was not a "do not disturb" sign outside. I did not use the pool, […] but it seemed nice. I was tired and just wanted somewhere to crash so booked a room here. The a/c didn't work, the sheets had a stain on them. Not just a little stain...it was HUGE. The toliet flushed slow the shower did not drain properly and the overall cleanliness of the room and hotel was terrible. If you love your family and yourself, do NOT stay at this hotel. Hotel personnel were very polite but the hotel rooms were not clean.

I got the best service here in my 8.5 years of stay in the USA!! The receptionist took a great personal care of my family when we checked in at the hotel late in the evening and ensured we were comfortable. If you care for 'care' this is the hotel to stay.

We had no working shower an the hotel could've cared less. They did not cut or reimburse any costs for having a horrible facility without a shower. Learn from my mistake and don't ever stay here.

The hotel is recently remodeled, the room was pretty clean and very spacious , I got what I paid for the photos are very good representation of the hotel, what you see is what you get, pretty much comfortable, only stayed one night to rest from a long trip and i was very pleased.

The Hotel needs upkeep bad. The carpets need replacing, shower curtins were mildewed, bed spreads were of the 1980's style, old and needs to be replaced. The chairs and tables needed replacing. The chairs were stained bad. The hall carpets and hall smelled musty and like smoke. We stayed in a Non-smoking room and my daughter had a hard time dealing […] with the smell. The floor was dirty with crumbs by entry of our room and out in the hallway. We opened the hidabed and the sheet was wrinkly and had crumbs on it. We had two queen beds, we pulled back the covers on one bed and it had dark hairs all over the sheet. There was no wash cloths in the room and the shampoo had been used. Bugs in the hall. Hotel needs a lot of work. I found black spots on the ceiling that looked like mold.

Great desk service. Clerk was very friendly. Staff was very accommodating.

For the price paid, it was an overall good stay. The layout of the room seemed a little odd. They could include a microwave and fridge in the rooms to make the stay better.

This "hotel" was a disaster and definitely not worth the money!! The hotel was disgustingly filthy. There was stagnant water in the tub upon arrival and a badly mildewed shower curtain. The room smelled musty and the beds were not comfortable at all!! In the morning, the breakfast area was filthy and nothing was properly stockedn and the staff seemed […] "bothered" when asked to restock certain items. The only "hot" breakfast was a waffle maker, which did not work properly. The alarm in the room next door was going off for several hours before a staff member turned it off after I called. There was no hot water for us to shower in the morning either. This was the absolute worst hotel experience my family has ever had!! Lees meer

This hotel, from what we've been told, has just been baught by new owners and they are in the process of remodeling the hotel. When we arrived more than half the parking lot was roped off since they were resealing and repainting the parking lot. The room we stayed in had two chairs that had broken backs and a main light that had a burnt bulb. The pool […] is an enclosed pool that is shared with a neighboring hotel that also shares the property. I think after the new owners finish all that needs to be repaired and replaced it will be a better hotel. I would stay at this hotel again but not for a few months. The room was okay for the money. Service not so great- but we did not need it much. Breakfast was acceptable at best- out of 3 mornings- only 1 day did they have plastic knifes (10 of them) that you could eat waffles with. it was okay- but i would try something else next time...

Knights Inn was a decent hotel for the price that we paid. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait a few minutes because the room was not cleaned yet and it was an hour past the checkin time. The room was a little hot, but when traveling, I always keep a table top fan with me for times like this. I liked the breakfast, because they had a waffle […] machine. The hotel is also just off the highway. When signing in, you may also want to ask for additional towels and washcloths, because they did not give us enough in the room. First of all they did not give receipt on check out. Upon asking they said the hotels.com reservation receipt is good. Then we saw on credit card statement that they charged twice.

The Jon was hard to get to work and the a/c was not working. But they said they were working on it. But had no fans to help cool it down. The hall way was like stepping out into an oven. It was very hot int the room we had. It took all day and evening and it still did not cool down. They did move us to another room but being on the 3rd floor it was warmer then we liked. Suggest they check out the air in upstair rooms. Other wise it was okay. The pool was clean and the room was in good shape also.
