Hotel is very nice. Rooms are great. Food is mediocre. Reservation process could use a makeover. The 1hr window is a joke. But overall its a keeper.

Very pleasant experience. The food and drink was both plentiful and delicious. The staff was super accommodating and very cheerful. Close proximity to Atlantis and easy travel to town and shopping.

Do not waste your Time and Money for this Hotel.

The views and rooms were great. Would of loved to have bigger patios...only enough room for 2 chairs and small table. The food was great! Better than any cruise we have been on. If you want a lot more activities...well The Atlantis is right next door. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

We recently stayed at the Riu Hotel, and I must say we had the most amazing time. The hotel staff were excellent, check in time is at 4pm and we were allowed to check in early! Over all great experience. Short walking distance to the Atlantis and casino. Water sports were readily available. My husband and I stayed at RIU Palace for 3 nights. The hotel was great. Everyone there was so friendly,and food was delicious. The resturaunts were all yummy and could not get enough of the buffet. The beach was wonderful, we swam every morning and really enjoyed every minute of this short trip. 3 days all inclusive was just right for us!

My husband and I just returned from a great vacation at this hotel. We found the hotel to be clean, well kept; the workers were friendly and very accommodating. We booked through hotels.com and it was everything it promised, even better. The food was absolutely great- wine, champagne, premium beverages were included-at all times. This was our 3rd visit to the Paradise Island Riu. We enjoy it so very much, we keep coming back.. Food and staff & accomendations are great!!! See you again very soon!!!

Nice hotel. Very nice and friendly people. Good food. OK room. Wonderful place to sit by the water and watch the waves roll in. The hotel is on Paradise Island right next to Atlantis where there is a ferry to the mainland. When we walked over to see Atlantis, we were glad we'd stayed at the Riu where it was a lot less "Vegas" and not so much "Waterpark." […] We enjoyed four calm, relaxing days and nights sitting by the water, either poolside or on the beach just watching the tide roll in. The water in the ocean was nice and warm. The pool and poolside were always in great shape. The food was better than we expected, particularly the a-la-carte restaurants. Reservations are required for those and must be made between 8-9 in the morning but it's worth it. They weren't all open every night since we were there in the off season but they seemed to alternate among four so that at least a couple were available each day. We were able to book reservations for two nights at a time. The buffet, open most of the time, serving all meals, also was very good, particularly for breakfast and supper, with overwhelming variety for those two menus. The bars made good drinks. After reading bad reviews about the hotel and its current renos, my husband and I were braced for the worst. The renos were supposed to be done the week before our arrival but were still in progress when we called before we left home.We were greeted by a friendly concierge who kindly assigned us to an available room after breakfast (we were early for […] regular check in). We were pleased to get one of the new rooms on the 14th floor-still smelled of fresh plaster and paint. No phone yet and our bar and fridge was empty. We didn't realize until later that these things should be there so after speaking with the front desk, they arranged for it all to be filled by day's end.The buffet had nice variety and had themed dinners featuring a different culture every night. Try the Crystal restaurant for a "date-night" feel.We didn't stay long enough after dinners to watch the nightly entertainment...beware, the Atlantis casino is 5 min walk from the hotel! Our fave part of the food was that you can order 24hr room service at no extra charge.The pool is straight forward. If you don’t like it there’s a fantastic beach steps away.If we HAD to complain about anything, it would be the fact that they oddly cut off the water two nights in a row between 1-8 am. The hotel staff said that it was a pipe problem, but regardless it was very inconvenient to have the water unavailable indefinitely and without notice.We had a great stay and look forward to another trip back to the Bahamas and the Riu. So their sign says 5 stars and when we left it was rated as a 4 star on here. I would say its a basic 3 star at best. Renovations are nice, but they need to get their act together. Ordered room service three times and every time they messed it up. You have to make reservations for the "nicer" restaurants early morning the day of and they fill up FAST! […] Waiting for an elevator in the morning was a pain too, cause there's only one place to eat breakfast and everyone is leaving their rooms in the morning. We had a "junior suite" which is nothing more than a regular room, and we were on the right side of the hotel where the massive air conditioning fans were and we couldn't open the door to the "balcony" because they were so loud! I would NEVER pay full price for the stay. If you can get the hotel for mid to high two-hundreds its worth it because of the all inclusive. Paradise Island is gorgeous. Lees meer

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food (especially the restaurants) exceeded our expectations. The beach and water were fantastic and our room was very comfortable and enjoyable. And they are closing the hotel for renovations!! I read the reviews before booking so I was not surprised by the hotel condition. They are renovating in August and the model room looks fantastic. Food was great, drinks were low quality as expected for an all inclusive. The beach is AMAZING. Wait to book here until after the renovation and I am positive you will love it.

Rum med tillhörande lobby, matsal fint skick Frukost, lunch, spa personal oengagerad Polområdet för litet. Det spelades mycket hög musik vid polområdet som på ett diskotek hela eftermiddagen.Omöjligt att föra ett samtal. il ne porte que le nom de palace, c'est un hotel pas plus de 3 étoiles local, j'avais choisi cet hotel car au mexique playa del carmen le palace est un vrai palace. De plus on croise toute la journée des clients ayant consommés trop d'alcool avec le tout inclus.

Excelente hotel para quem nao utiliza internet, a quel funciona precariamente apenas no lobby do hotel. A alimentaçao é excelente com tudo muito fresco.

Отдых в данном отеле понравился, есть только пожелание иметь Wi-Fi в номерах, а не только в местах общего пользования.

exelente la suite frente al oceano piso catorce. el servicio y la limpieza estan muy bien el ppersonal muy atento lounico pero esto es en general muy pocos hablan español y la carteleria la mayoria es en ingles sin opcion de otro idioma cosa que se dificulta a aquellos que no hablan ingles ,creo que el personal deberia por lo menos en recepcion y jefes […] de bares concerjes manejar el español. hotel muy bien ubicado, con problemas de infraestructura. Muy baja presion de agua en las habitaciones, Problemas constantes con Internet. Atencion muy variable dependiendo de las propinas (no corresponde en un all iclusive). Deberian tener una actitud mas protectiva hacia los huespedes con respecto a la alta polucion en la playa debido al exceso de […] motos de agua y un mejor servicio de playa. Lees meer

Vill man koppla av, ha det bra och inte behöva jäkta runt är Riu Paradise Island toppen. Trevlig personal, välskött, god mat (i massor) goda drinkar, fantastiskt badvatten och en sandstrand som är ljuvlig.

Vi havde bestilt og betalt for en SUPERIOR Junior Suite. Hvad er forskellen på en sådan og en Junior Suite ? Vi tror vi fik en almindelig Junior Suite.

Muy buena atencion del personal de front desk, nos entregaron la habitacion antes del check-in y pudimos disfrutar del dia desde temprano. La playa NO es muy buena directamente abajo del hotel debido a que esta junto a un public beach acces, lo que hace que este muy congestionada, musica muy fuerte y ademas en esa parte la extension de la arena no es […] mucha. Conviene alejarse unos metros para poder disfrutar mejor de la playa y el oceano. Tampoco hay sombrillas incluidas con las reposeras de playa. La atencion de todo el personal es excelente, las habitaciones son muy buenas y las comidas excelentes tambien. No es muy buena la pileta, es algo chica para la cantidad de huespedes. Es un all inclusive pero no tiene incluidas actividades como snorkeling, algun tipo de velero u otros deportes que otros all inclusive muchas veces tienen. Lees meer
