Het hotel is perfect gelegen naast een kleine supermarkt en zeer dichtbij een metro en tram station waarmee je binnen enkele minuten midden in het centrum staat. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en de kamers keurig netjes en werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Tevens was het ontbijt ook gewoon goed te noemen.

Zeer goed hotel, personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heel net hotel. Eén minpuntje als niet roker, is de kamers op ons verdiep zijn voor niet rokers. Echter in de gang stond er een asbak en was er geur van sigaretten.

Goed Hotel voor weinig geld. Met openbaar vervoer goed te bereiken. Ontbijt is redelijk. De enig ergernis die wij hebben gehad waren ongemanierde Russen in het Hotel. Lawaaischoppers en mensen zonder tafelmanieren. Het hotel had kunnen ingrijpen.

Prima hotel. Lekker ontbijt, alleen jammer dat de tramhalte net onder ons raam was, dat was erg onrustig. We hebben het verder super gehad!!
Ligging.
Hotel Rott ligt in Staré Město in Praag, dicht bij St. Nicholaskerk aan het oude stadsplein, Karelsbrug en Stadhuis van Praag. In de buurt liggen ook Malo Stranaplein en Astronomische klok.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in romantische stijl biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en vergaderruimtes. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en zakelijke diensten regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, een cadeaushop of kiosk en een wasserij. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren. De accommodatie beschikt over speciaal daarvoor bestemde rookruimtes.

Bij Hotel Rott zijn kamers met airconditioning voorzien van onder andere een minibar en een kluis. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een lcd-televisie met kanalen via de kabel en betaalfilms. Elke badkamer heeft bad of douche met een handdouche, badjassen, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.

De historische gebouwen in Staré Mesto (de Oude Stad), het hart van de stad, zijn prachtig intact gebleven. Het middelpunt is het geplaveide Oude Stadsplein met het standbeeld van Jan Hus, het oude stadhuis met zijn astronomische klok, en de gotische torenspitsen van de Týnkerk. De Karelsbrug, met zijn vele prachtige standbeelden, verbindt de Oude Stad met de wijk Malá Strana.

Pleasure to stay in Hotel Rott. Staff very nice and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and very well heated. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was tasty but teabags were sometimes missing. I will recommend this hotel and next time I will stay there again.

What's not to like?! From a warm meeting at the airport by the hotel driver, to a friendly, efficient & helpful staff, I had a quiet comfortable modern room in a venue that dates from the 13th Century and right around the corner from the center of the old city. Hotel breakfast is superb, with a huge selection of meats, egg dishes, breads, fruits, sweets, […] etc...and the public Cafe Rott serves just as excellent, tasty and well-presented meals. Prior to our visit I had read some reviews and all except one were very positive re this hotel. How that one person felt able to complain about the hotel is beyond me. Everything about it was very good. "The ROTT HOTEL in Prague"
Excellent service, customer friendly and excellent location.
This hotel was fairly inexpensive (in comparison with other destinations), so our expectations were not overly high. We had also read reports of problems with the plumbing. But, we couldn't have been more wrong. It was clean, comfortable, and friendly staff (good command of English, too). The showers worked well, so not sure what the problem was supposed […] to be in that department. There was no view from the room, but since we were only there to sleep, not really an issue. Really good breakfast was part of the price as well. The hotel is literally a stone's throw from the main square, and great to do the loop around to the Bridge & the Castle. Prague is a wonderful place, and nicely complemented by this gem of a hotel. Lees meer

"Hotel Rott, next to the Old Town Square"
In an excellent position, seconds away in one direction from the old town square and out of earshot of any noise, while only a few minutes in the opposite direction from the Charles Bridge. Could not be more conveniently located. Staff friendly and very helpful. However the hotel was let down by the standard of the bedroom. The room needed refurbishing, […] peeling paint, faded wallpaper, old tv, not what would be expected of a 4 star hotel, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. If you want a hotel in the centre of everything, minutes away from restaurants, shops and all the sites then I would certainly recommend this hotel. Lees meer
"Great Hotel"
The right location at the right price. Very good buffet breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel restaurant is very, very good. The people at the desk could not be friendlier. The room was small and clean. The bathroom was immaculate and everything worked. Air conditioning is available. Returning to Prague I would not stay anywhere else.

The hotel is behind the main square in Prague, it is in a quiet area with some of the main sites right outside the window
"Needs improvement"
The area that this hotel is located in was great. The staff was very helpful. However, the room itself did not live up to the expectations we had. It was fairly noisy at night, contrary to what the reviews had said. The bathroom was fairly gross, in that it used a pump mechanism to empty the toilet and shower water. Well, this pump doesn't work very […] well and so you end up standing in water in the shower with it about overflowing into the bathroom. I had to stop the shower a few times to let the pump "catch up" with the water so that the shower wouldn't overflow. Very poor design. Perhaps this was just our room though. Lees meer
"Lovely hotel! Best location & value"
This is such a beautiful charming hotel and its literally right next to the main sqaure. Parking is expensive but then is anywhere in prague, they are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in such a prime location that it makes the prices of this hotel see,m like its a bargin. I would consider this hotel before any other one in prague

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Rott in Prague and were very happy with our stay there. The hotel is in an amazing location, right off old town square. It was convenient to walk to all the major attractions. The rooms were small, like most European hotel rooms, but clean and well-maintained. A safe was available in the room for valuables and […] the ancillary charge for local phone calls was minimal. Our rates were very reasonable, particularly since a nice breakfast buffett was included each morning. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier, or more helpful in answering questions about what to do or how to get to certain places in Prague. "Hotel Rott-Great Location"
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Rott 10/20-22/09 and were very happy w/ the location. Its just around the corner from the clock that is inthe guidebooks, and also next to the Hard Rock Cafe. The staff were generally very polite and quick to come when called. Our only two incident was that we couldn't figure out how to activate the shower head in the tub. […] When we asked downstairs the concierge asked our room number and when we told him, he said he knew the exact problem and that when he saw it for the first time he couldn't figure it out either: you have to yank on the shower hose to activate it. A first for everything, I guess. The other incident involved teh setting of the combo on the safe. Someone had previously locked the dead-bolt open. Room service fixed it right away. The receptionists all spoke very good English, a few w/ American English accents. They were all polite, some more friedly than others, like anywhere. The exchange rate at the hotel was better than out in town. The room was small but very clean. You'd almost never guess it was centuries old. The breakfast was adequate, but don't be late. The staff start shutting down about 15 minutes early and you'll be out ouf luck if you think you can get a last cup of coffee. Dining area in the basement had a very warm feel to it. We had compared this hotel closely to the Utri Bubnu nearby but have no regrets regarding teh price and location. Would definately reccomend it Lees meer
"Old building or lack of responsiveness to issues?"
The hotel room would have been satisfactory if it hadnt been for the bathroom pump. Whenever you flushed the toilet, used the sink or used the shower there was a very loud pump that would run. It also would run in the middle of the night and would keep you awake until it stopped. It also gave off a foul smell at times. We reported the issues to the […] front desk and their solution was to give us a can of air freshener despite our request for a technician. However, days after we reported it, someone else complained and then finally a technician came to our room to inspect the pump. Though the pump was likely because the building is older I dont think this was supposed to be functioning as it did. On the positive side, the hotel is a prime location and right in the middle of everything. You can get to the astronomical clock within 30 seconds and the Charles Bridge in 5 minutes. Taxi to the hotel to and from the airport was approximately 30 euros. Lees meer

This hotel has an amazing location in Prague. I stayed here with my sister for 4 days. It was literally a 1 minute walk to old town square, and once you figured out where you were going only a 5 minute walk to the Vltava River. We just walked everywhere from our hotel and it was great (although I must say public transport was easy to use and the nearest […] station was only 5 minutes away). The hotel was pretty, clean, nice breakfast buffet with lots of choices included, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free internet in the rooms via the TV. Ours didn't work, but there was a computer in the lobby that was free to use. The area around the hotel was clean and felt safe to walk through at night. The restaurants nearby were a little to pricey for our budget (it is a tourist location), but we just took a 5-10 minute walk till we found something we liked. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague. It was a good value for the money and the location can't be beat! Lees meer

I am so glad we chose to stay at this hotel. It is right in the heart of everything. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was a little small, but felt cozy. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying there the next time I visit Prague.

The hotel is located right at the heart of the tourist area. It is close to all you want to see in Prague. The price is very much worth what you get for. The hotel is newly renovated. "Internet access information misleading"
This charming and comfortable hotel would be great for a couple who wanted to be right in the middle of the tourist area and did not require internet access. Unfortunately, my partner and I require wifi or at the very least, internet access for two in our rooms due to extensive internet-based work demands. I spent several hours researching hotels in […] Prague to ensure that this demand would be easily met and Hotel Rott assured me it would be. When we arrived, drenched from a downpour, we were greeted by the friendly, front-desk agent who provided us with our room very quickly. At check-in, I inquired about wifi access in the room and was told that, in fact, wifi was only available in the reception area and the room itself had only a single plug-in – not what I expected based upon the research conducted on their website, hotels.com, and tripadvisor.com. We spent several hours in the evening in the reception lobby. It was not very comfortable but at least we both had connection. We listened to the front desk clerk all night responding to guest questions. Now that was an experience –very telling of the hotel itself and a bit of the agent’s personal values. I say this because the outcome was not at all flattering and we decided to stay at a different hotel for the remainder of our stay in Prague. The rooms themselves were nicely appointed, managing to fit a desk, mini-refrigerator, TV, and bathroom with towel-warmer – even in the room with the sloped roof that we were assigned. Our bathroom floors were supposed to be heated but we couldn’t get that to work – not a big concern in July but it would have been nice. The breakfast buffet in the Romanesque cellar of the hotel was terrific. There were quite a few choices: bread, toast, fruit, bacon, sausage, sliced meat, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cereal, cakes, juice, coffee, tea, and more – something for everyone it seemed. You cannot have a better location in PRG. The hotel is nice, with good service. They learned from the registration card that we are staying during my wife's birthday and sent a bottle of champagne to our room to greet her. WiFi inernet works fine. Vi var veldig fornøyd med hotellet på de aller fleste måter. Rommene var rene og ok. Badet var fint, men dusjen var ødelagt på rommet vårt (306). Frokosten var grei og personalet som jobbet der var hyggelig å serviceminded. Hotellet var sentralt, noe osm gjorde oppholdet ekstra greit.

"Perfekt läge"
Helhetsintrycket av detta hotell är mycket gott. Vi hade väl inte hotellets dyraste rum men lite besviken blev jag att jag inte kunde se ut. Rummen som låg högst upp i hotellet hade hög hotellstandard men inget riktigt fönster utan mer en "taklucka" med glas. Detta kunde jag dock leva med med hänsyn till läget och standarden i övrigt. "Hotell Rott Praha"
Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personal, ble vist runt av hotellets pikalo ved ankomst. Vi hadde et standardrom, var ikke særdelest gode senger, men greie nok. Rommet var stort, hadde bord og to pinnestoler. Hotellet kunne med fordel satt inn 2 lenestoler som erstatning. Gulvene knirket veldig der vi hadde rom, det var veldig lytt mellom rommene og mot gangen. […] Når vi skulle på do på nattetid så så vi lysene på ganger rundt dørkarmene, forklarer vel at vi hørte alle som gikk forbi. Utover dette så var vi tilfrets, og volle nok valgt hotellet på nytt, men da med litt opgradert rom. Lees meer

Hard Rock Cafe i 1. etasje ga lyd opp til et av rommene i 3. etasje, til gjengjeld fikk vi ogsa tilgang til tradlös internett derfra. Frokosten trekker ned i vurderingen.
Excellent service, very good and helpful frontdesk, very nice and clean rooms. Not noisy at all even tho it is situated right in the middle of the city. Spacy rooms with a high ceiling and very comfy beds. Try out the restaurant as well, excellent food!

Das Hotel ist super gelegen mitten in der Altstadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten können sehr gut zu Fuss ereicht werden, wobei auch eine Metrostation in unmittelbarer Nähe ist. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, sauber und in angenehmer Grösse. Das Früstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und wird auch immer wieder aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und […] zuvorkommend. Auch kann das Restaurant sehr empfohlen werden. Günstige Preise (zudem erhält man einen Gutschein für eine kostenlose Vorspeise beim Check-in), Essen ist sehr gut und Ambiente toll. Gleich neben im oder neben dem Hotel ist das Hard Rock Cafe. Durch die Lage unseres Zimmers wurden wir nicht durch Lärm belästigt. Haben das sogar als Positiv angesehen. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Hotel buchen und werden es auch allen gerne weiterempfehlen. Lees meer

L'hôtel est digne de sa réputation. La situation géographique et le petit déjeuner sont exceptionnels. Il est possible de se balader à pieds dans tous les sites touristiques de la ville. "splendita vacanza!"
Sono stata all'hotel Rott con il mio fidanzato, avevamo la camera n. 118 situata al primo piano. La camera non era molto grande, ma era pulita e molto confortevole. Gli unici difetti sono: la mancanza di tende oscuranti e le tariffe del frigo bar un pò eccessive. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile, soprattutto il ragazzo italiano di nome […] Giovanni che aiuta a portare i bagagli. La colazione è eccezionale!! Buonissima e abbondante sia nel dolce che nel salato!! La posizione dell'hotel è fantastica...Nel complesso non potevamo trovare di meglio! L'ho già consigliato ai miei amici! Lees meer

"Hotel Rott - i centrum"
Hotellet ligger meget centralt. Værelset var gjort perfekt rent, og var ellers helt i orden. Morgenmaden var god med rigtig god kaffe. Personalet var sødt og meget hjælpsomt. Det eneste jeg kunne savne er mulighed for at lave en kop kaffe på værelset. Men ellers et rigtigt godt hotel til prisen.

Jättefint hotell med fantastiskt läge 100m. från Astronomiska klockan och tastiskmed Hard Rock kafé som närmsta granne. Hotellets egen restaurang är helt fanastisk och som gäst blir du bjuden på en förrätt. Bästa stället att utgå från när man strövar i Prag. Hotellet har egen chaufför om man vill ha transport till flyget, men det är bara en kort bit […] till tunnelbanan. Lees meer
