Days Inn New Orleans Airport in Kenner

Not a luxury place by any stretch! BUT low price & close access to airport is great for an early flight out. A/C is very loud & there is a lot of outside noise (trains, cars, etc.); so not best bet for light sleepers. Good service.

Amazing Hotel out in Louisiana, we also stayed out at Travelodge out in Louisiana and me and my wife felt so uncomfortable. This one for the price, and how great the staff was, yea very amazing so thank you Days Inn and if we go back to Louisiana again for another cruise, I promise we will be staying there.

We stayed here one night because of the close proximity to the airport (literally across the street). The location is the only thing this place has going for it. This is the perfect place to stay when proximity to the airport is important. They provide free around the clock shttle servive. They are next door to an Ihop, which is important as the do not serve breakfast. Coffee only. The pool is nice and well maintained.

Clean efficient..... but simply an airport hotel. French Quarters totally booked out. Easy however to hire a car and drive downtown.

Hotel is in old condition. Staff is very nice but needs to stay on top of things. Don't like way hotel designed and location of vending machines. Or location of IHOP. Was not the worst room I stay at. Was far from downtown.Was not a bad stay overnight. But not sure if will stay many times. Just sometimes.

The room was ok especially given the rate however, it is right beside the airport and neither the door nor walls were insulated so you heard every plane take off and land and every person and their conversation when they went by the room. The rooms are tired and require refurbishment. The room was clean and everything worked. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This hotel only needs a facelift. Considering it's convenient location to the airport, it should be in better condition.

Quite dirty feeling, old, run down. Attempts were made to improve the bathroom, it had some new tile and fixtures. Unfortunately it needs a lot more cleaning and renewing. I do not think the hotel was near full, there were better rooms available (location wise), but they placed us in the section furthest from the office, with a dimly lit parking lot […] out the window, and a noisy railroad track behind that. This is your above standard airport hotel. Price is right and could not be more convenient. Took all of five minutes from hotel to drop off rental car to begin walk to terminal. After reading other reviews prior to booking, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I did not have any of the noise problems or other issues that previous guesgts had commplained about. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends for price and convenience.

Call 3 times to get clean towels, got them after 5 hrs. Room was dirty and service was horrible and rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!

It was comfortable enough for a 3-day stay although our check-in was over an hour late - said they were a little understaffed. But hotel staff were helpful and the cleaning lady came and clean up our room on time every morning. I don't quite fancy the AC unit in the room though, it was loud and unless you put it on 'Fan' - it'll stop and go every few […] minutes, whirring away. Hotel's right across the street form the airport and it was only about 18 mins away from The French Quarter. A lot of restaurants and fast food joints in the vicinity as well as gas stations. Fitness room is a little small and stuffy but it was decent. All in all, if I decide to visit again, I may stay here. 24-hour IHOP right next door, complimentary coffee and bottled water every morning. It wasn't bad at all. Check out was a breeze! Lees meer

This hotel is very old. You pay for what you get, that's why it's cheap! They need to shampoo the carpets or replace them. The phone and remote control weren't wiped off, very dirty. I know they get a lot of shipyard workers, but they really need to clean this hotel and remodel it. The trains in the middle of the night are awful! It will wake you up […] from a sound sleep!!! Was in town for music festival, so we didn't need much, we were gone at the festival all day and just needed a clean and comfortable place to sleep. It also had an IHOP in the hotel. Very convenient! The stay met our needs adequately. 3.5/5

I will never stay at a Days Inn again. Dated, no Internet, visible repair work. Safe location though. The place looks old. You could water stains on the celling. They Internet was down I couldn't get work done I needed to do. I called there tech line to find out about the Internet. They had said they had been having problems for a while. You're getting exactly what you pay for with this place--the only reason you'd be staying here is because you're flying in or out of New Orleans and literally all you want is a place that offers a shuttle. We enjoyed our stay although the beds had a bit to be desired! Double beds are very small for two people to sleep in comfortably, even my two younger girls were complaining about the room. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would go there again. This Hotel is convenient to Louis Armstrong, NO airport and has a 24 hr shuttle to airport. Otherwise, it really needs some remodling. The rooms were not very clean. Rust on the shower rod and mold on the shower curtains. Not sure if they ever cleaned behind the bathroom door. It is not a five star resort; it is a clean, convenient place to spend the night going to/flying home from work. The outside is a bit dated but the staff is always friendly and it is convenient to MSY. The only drawback is there isn't much around the hotel. Went for a three night spring break trip with friends, the staff was not friendly at all, we had to ask for clean towels all 3 nights for the fitness center, which was not in very good condition. The room was decent, but it could have been cleaner. They were doing some sort of construction in 1 of the rooms around us and the hammering and drilling started […] really early and woke us up. We stayed here both upon arriving in NO and the night before when leaving NO. The 24/7 shuttle was worth it's weight in gold! We arrived at midnight and our daughter at midnight the next night. I needed to stay close to the airport to stay overnight and this place was great. Despite the random argument by two drunk people outside my room, the hotel had a 24 hour shuttle that will take you anywhere in the surrounding area(including the airport).
