alleen gebruikt ter overnachting om dichtbij het vliegveld te zijn. Alles was prima, behalve de buurt. Niet om alleen de straat op te gaan.

Een laagdrempelig, gezellig motel. Goede service en voorzieningen en dicht bij de airport. Het welkomstglaasje champagne was een leuke verrassing. Een simpel ontbijt is inbegrepen en voor weinig geld uit te breiden. Gratis shuttle naar de airport, goede parkeervoorziening op eigen terrein. Zelfs een auto huren kan ter plekke. Zeker aan te bevelen.

De kamer die we hadden was erg modern en zag er prima uit. Had ook een flatscreen tv met vrij veel zenders. Het was er wel erg stoffig (duidelijk dat het randje van het hoofdbord v/h bed niet echt vaak werd afgestoft: nooit?). Het hotel boodt ontbijt aan voor 10 $ p.p. was een beperkt ontbijtbuffet met cereal, toast en jam, koffie, sap, en wat warme dingen (aardappels, worstjes). Het is wel midden in de lobby. Maar voor 10$ pp best aardig.

Ligging.
Ayres Hotel Seal Beach ligt in de buurt van het strand in het hartje van Seal Beach, dicht bij Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens, California State University Long Beach en Los Alamitos Race Course. In de ruime omgeving liggen ook Walter Pyramid en Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Ayres Hotel Seal Beach heeft een buitenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Op bepaalde dagen krijg je gratis een lichte welkomstmaaltijd aangeboden, en elke ochtend wordt gratis ontbijt geserveerd.Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en een huwelijksservice regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een winkeltje en een wasserij. Zelf parkeren is gratis. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Ayres Hotel Seal Beach heeft 112 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met driedubbele lakens, een donsdeken en premium beddengoed. Een kussenkeuzemenu is beschikbaar. Een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) is beschikbaar. Elke 32-inch flatscreen televisie heeft premiumkanalen via satelliet. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Alle units hebben een kitchenette met een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis weekkrant en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals hypoallergeen beddengoed, extra handdoeken/beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Ayres Hotel Seal Beach mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

Hanging ten is een populair tijdverdrijf in Huntington Beach, ook wel bekend als 'Surf City'. Het International Surfing Museum van de stad, Surfers' Hall of Fame en Surfing Walk of Fame staan allemaal in het teken van deze sport. Vogelkijkers komen allemaal naar de Loop Trail van 2 1/2 km in het ecologische reservaat Bolsa Chica, in de hoop een glimp op te vangen van de 300 vogelsoorten die daar thuis zijn. Noordwaarts liggen de gemeenten Sunset Beach en Seal Beach.

My stay was very realxing and comfortable. My bed was very comfortable and the pillows werent flat! The staff was very friendly even the housekeepers smiled and answered my questions. Maybe they can put an ice/vending machine on the first floor??

Even though I only stayed one night on business, I thought it was just delightful. I stayed from Four Season Hotel to Best Western and if I compare, must say decoration passes Four Season Hotel and Comfort for the price is extremly resonalble that I becam member of their hotel group at the departure time I will not hesitate to check in again ROCKS
Love it. So helpful with our 1 year old twins. Got us in a room before 3 (for nap time) and had 2 cribs in it set up.

this was overall a very good hotel, the free breakfast was awesome! the only bad thing i can say about this place is that there is next to no water pressure in the shower, and the water in the sink shoots, if you turn it on too fast it will shoot all over you

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was within a few miles of the beach, and I could even walk there. The hotel was beautiful; there are comfortable beds and great furniture. The hotel is very tasteful and decorated very elegantly. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

WoW...the interiors and the hallways are VERY VERY NICE......gas a great patio and a unbelievable pool. Breakfast was delicious with hot eggs, sausage and bacon. Easy toi, with a shopping center in the back..only complaint i have is that the room carpet was stained and the rooms are a bit crampy,

"Nice place"
Everything about this hotel was as expected with one exception. Although the sound proofing for the freeway so close by was great. The noise from the guests above us was not. The only recommendation I would give is to ask for a TOP floor room. Everything else was very nice. Enjoy

This place is nice and friendly - clean with free internet. The breakfast was really nice quality and included in the price! You can't beat that. There are a couple fast places to eat within a 2 minute walk, and a nice assortment of shopping 1 mile down the road (Target, Vons, Marshall's, CPK)

The hotel was in a great location for us and the staff were great. The only 2 complaints I have was the shower had very little pressure and the room temp was extremely hard to regulate.

We were very impressed with the Ayres hotel, great lobby and the rooms were exceptional. Don't know what kind of mattresses they use but both my husband and I commented on how comfortable they were. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and was very good. They offer a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, fruit, sweets, cereal, yogurt and will […] even make you an omelet - excellent. My husband and I recently stayed at the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach and had a great experience. The room was very nice and comfortable. The parking was very close to the building; access to the 405 was incredible. We loved the free breakfast in the morning and enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard. "Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach"
I love the Ayres Hotels and this one lives up to their high standards. The only things wrong with this stay is the tub didn't drain and the breakfast was cleaned up well before the end of the time it was supposed to end. They promised that the next day they would open the whole time. We were checking out however.

"Easy access, clean love this hotel"
They even have a nice buffet appetizers and drinks during the week and great cookies all evenings! Nice touch. Breakfasts outstanding, Clean, comfortable!
Have stayed here before, that's why we've come back. Also, the real reason is because it's across the street from Koby's and Spaghetini's. We enjoy these two places.

I highly recommend this place with it´s friendly people and great service. All the facilities were in good working condition and unlike other places we´ve seen the pool and hout-tub were operational in the middle of december, too. The breakfeast was great and even included omelette-to-order. Also liked the cookies that they offered.

I stayed on 11/22/2010, the hotel and my room were extremely clean...spotless. All the staff that I dealt with were friendly, and a free hot breakfast (I had a made to order omelet) made this hotel a real bargain.
