We were so pleased at this hotel. Will definitely return. Attentive service and great location.

This hotel was excellent, it has everything to offer from breakfast to dinner and leisure. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. All the staff was courteousy and friendly. The food was outstanding.

I got what I paid for. The rooms were luxurious, clean and well equipped. The are is quite close to major attractions like french quarters and port. So the hotels in this area are not cheap. Add to that almost twenty five percent in taxes and fees. But we knew what we are getting into and enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I and another couple stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite the weekend after mardi gras. We had 4 folks in our room with no space issues at all. You could easily add another couple on the sofa if needed and still have ample room. The hotel is in a good location with respect to the French Quarter and the Central Business District. The walk […] to the corner of Canal St and Bourbon St was roughly 10 minutes. The walk to Harrah's Casino was about 15 minutes. The walk to St. Charle's street street car stop was about 5 minutes. In terms of New Orlean's French Quarter ambiance it has little. What it does have are large very clean and comfortable rooms in a great location. We knew we would spend little time at the hotel so really did not need to spend the extra money for ammenities/ambiance we would not use. I did go down to the pool/hot tub which was large and heated. Nice way to unwind after walking the city all day and night. If you are looking for a charming French Quarter hotel this is not the place. If you want to be close to the action and get a great value this is definitely a great spot. We would definitely return next time in New Orlean's. Lees meer

Highly recommended. However, when I was given instructions where to park, receptionist "forgot" to tell me that parking costs additional $20/day.

We were very pleased with this hotel and the hotel room. It was very comfortable, especially with 2 small children. Having a full kitchen and separate living area was excellent. The location was wonderful. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've had. We can't wait to stay again.

We have stayed at several hotels in new orleans, and this is now my fave. The idea of a suite and a balcony for a decent price, is GREAT! And its a beautiful place, so close to everything! Def recommended, nothing was wrong. Theres even a lot of free street parking. If you staying for more than a night its even a better place because theres a full fridge […] and small kitchen. So cool! This hotel was not as close to Bourbon Street as we originally thought or planned, but it certainly wasn't too far away either. Short walk down to Harrah's and Canal Street. Great place to stay if you are on a budget and cant afford the more expensive places closer. Breakfast both mornings was great. Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Grits, etc. --> Not just fruit […] and cereal. The room was great!!!! All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Two people in our group had never been to New Orleans and were very impressed with the room, the staff, and the overall friendliness of everyone!

Hotel was GREAT,but breakfast,while hot/free and plenty of it was not very tasty.

Great hotel...wonderful amenities, loved the free breakfasts and dinners, friendly and helpful staff. Already looking forward to my next visit to New Orleans!

My Family & myself (3) loved our stay at Homewood Suites. The room was very spacious, they were two queen size beds and a sofa bed in the living room,huge bathroom, nice kitchenet, plus a balcony. The hotel was located in the French Quarter area. Hotel staff was nice. Hotel also provided buffet breakfast. I would deffinately stay there again.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and it was fantastic! The Hotel is in a very good location. It is about 5 blocks from the French Quarters, which we walked to several times. It is, also, 2 blocks from the Trolley Car. You can buy an all day pass for $3 per person and this pretty much takes you everywhere in the area. The staff at this Hotel is […] exceptional, especially the front desk staff (Daisy and Kiara-I hope I spelled their names right!) These girls were doing the job of three people and always had a smile on their faces! They gave us excellent suggestions on things to do and places to eat! THANKS! They made our trip! The hotel offers a continental breakfast and on Monday thru Thursday a light dinner with beer and wine and soft drinks if you choose to eat there. We did eat there a few times but you are in New Orleans and there are lots of great places to eat! It is a great value if you are watching your budget! The rooms were comfortable and clean but did need a little updating. You did have to pay for parking but you have to pay for parking everywhere. We never rented a car and I can't say that we really needed one. All the staff from Housekeeping to the Desk staff was always helpful and friendly. just a short walk to the Superdome!

The location was a bit of a walk to the main tourist areas (can't tell by looking at map). The room size was great, but the staff did not clean it thoroghly. We had to ask them to put fresh linens out for the sleeper sofa (we did leave it open for them to see that it was used). Also there was hair in the bathroom from the time we checked in until I […] asked them to sweep 2 days later (I hoped they would do it the next morning). The most dissapointing part was the bad breakfast. They put out frozen bagels that were hard to pry appart, there was a bug in the fruit (alive and moving), they had a small selection of foods, and the juices were at room temperature. I complained to the manager, and she said she was sorry and that they usually get good comments about the bkfst. She did not say if she would follow up at all, which was dissappointing. Lees meer

Free FULL Continental breakfast, parking was half the cost of other hotels in the area, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking is also extremely close to the hotel and had security. Beds were a little on the soft side but still comfortable. Rooms were nice and big and well laid out. Trolley line wasn't too far away, the French quarter is […] a little bit of a trek but not too bad. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area including family. All in all had a great time, looking forward to my next stay at Homewood Suites in New Orleans. Lees meer

Huge rooms, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator/freezer a plus. Couch makes out into a bed. Area is quiet. Parking is $14/night (way cheap compared to other hotels!) Hotel is within walking distance to Bourbon and there is a pretty decent free breakfast every morning. Very friendly front desk staff and housekeeping.

We had the two bedroom suite and there was more than enough room for four people (two teenagers). The walk to the french quarter is long so we just ended up driving and parking in one of the parking lots (had to pay 2 parking fees per day) but well worth it. The parking lot attendant was super at helping us get a parking space and we had no problems. […] The only complaint was room service was extremely late one day (6pm) and the next night she came late again and didn't replenish our towels. The breakfast buffet was very good (eggs, meat, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, muffins, etc). Overall would definitely stay there again if we're ever in New Orleans. Lees meer

This hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It is close enough to walk to everything and far enough not to be in all the parting... GREAT place, great price. Will stay her again..

- The suite had a nice layout, plenty of room, and good amenities (LCD TV's, etc.), and the hotel breakfast was superb. The location was also great - just a short walk to the French Quarter, and also easily accessible from the highway. - My only complaint was with the poorly operating AC unit in our suite. It was louder than a freight train (both inside […] the room and outside on the balcony), and it barely worked. It never shut off the entire weekend, and the room still couldn't dip below a humid 76 degrees, not to mention we had to shout to talk to each other over the unit. Great location, very clean, good breakfast!!

Frond desk offers two parking passes for company and myself. We returned for the evening only to find out the parking attendant had no room for a second car. The front desk was rude and finally had to get security to park our car for us. Very unhelpful and rude at the front desk.

This works great for traveling families. Breakfast is among the best freebies I have encountered. FRESH CUT fruit each morning, no canned stuff, great hot selections, and great to go items to make upstairs in your room. Monday thru Thursday light dinner - salad bar that was pretty darn good and warm food that kids were happy with. Not the greatest […] if you are grown up but my kids loved the breaded chicken and tater tots and I had a nice salad at the salad bar. they even offer wine and beer for grown folk...no charge and soda for the kids. Room is excellent for the cost, separate master bedroom/bath area, living room with pull out hide a bed and fully equipped kitchen. Nice pool area, totally secured. The only disappointment is I left my sandals at the pool and when I contacted housekeeping they said they didn't have them. We do a lot of travel for sports and I would look for Homewood suites in the future when traveling with my children. Lees meer

The hotel is fairly new and very clean. It is a very short walk to all the attractions around the French Quarter area. The indoor pools was fun for the kids. The hot breakfast was good also. I will definitely stay there again.

We selected this hotel as the base of a week-long business trip that involved a considerable amount of in-room working time. The hotel is well-situated and has a kitchenette in each suite, which is useful for long periods of stay. They provide a nice breakfast and coffee throughout the day. A small supper with beer and wine is also available, though […] the hours were so early that it wasn't aligned with our schedules. There is a nicely appointed fitness center in good repair and a pool, which saw a lot of action from other guests. Parking is in a nearby lot, with in-and-out service at a fairly decent rate. There were three aspects to the stay that made it less that ideal. First, the place has a lot of mold -- in the hall carpets, in the rooms (draperies especially) and in the upholstery. One shouldn't have to stoke up on antihistamines to be in one's room. Second, while the marketing materials aim for the business traveler, the work space is pretty dismal, consisting of a dining table and seriously deficient work chair (no arms, not adjustable, not at a working height). Finally, the clientele was mostly budget tourists, who saw the buffets as an opportunity to bulk up and save on meals when they were offsite, so the buffets were unpleasant, as guests pushed and shoved to pile food into takeaway containers and grab as much whole fruit as could be carried at once. (And none of these people were underfed, I might add!) So the hospitality factor suffered less from the hotel's direct result but rather from whom they let in. Lees meer

The Homewood Suites in New Orleans was clean and spacious. There were just two negatives. First, the parking is tight and there is a $20 per night charge. However, you will have to pay for parking just about anywhere in the heart of New Orleans. The other negative was they only had a VHS player! We had young children with us and could not play their […] movies because I obviously only had DVD's. This hotel has a great location, it is right near the SuperDome (Who Dat!) and walking distance from Mother's Restaurant. Best hotel I've stayed in in NOLA yet...it's a little hike to Bourbon but the cleanliness-good breakfast-and good parking made up for it! Definately recommend this hotel.

This was walking distance to casino, convention center and superdome. The hotel is very clean and the beds are very comfortable after walking all day. Will stay again next year.

Plenty of room in my 1 bedroom suite, good shower pressure, and a comfortable bed. The room was a bit worn, but perfectly clean. They were installing flat screen TVs in all rooms during my stay, so they are apparently in the process of upgrading the rooms. Near Canal Street and St .Charles trolley lines.

Generally had a good stay. Price was right for a 2 bedroom suite was comfortable with large fridge, range top, dishes etc. Area is pretty boring as expected, but definitely walkable to French Quarter. Only true negative was that our room was not cleaned at all during our 2 night stay. We did not have a do not disturb sign and even saw housekeeping on […] our way out. We didnt bother to complain as it was such a short stay, but found it odd that no attempt was made to clean the room. Lees meer

This hotel offers excellent value for money. Included in the suite price is WiFi throughout the hotel; the use of the business center; free buffet breakfast (limited choice but adequate) and on M.T.W.T. evenings free buffet dinner with wine and/or beer (again limited choice but quite adequate if on a budget) Suite includes a kitchen with dishwasher […] and microwave etc (should you need to use it) while the lounge area has one TV and the bedroom area another. Washing and drying facilities are available for a small charge. There is a good size pool. Located on Poydras the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the Convention Center, a few minutes only from the French Quarter and close to a tram route. Plenty of taxis are available - the front desk is more than willing to help with ordering or confirming other bookings. Tour companies will pick up and drop off at the hotel. Although Poldras is a main route from downtown, there is no disturbing traffic noise (not experienced during nine night stay) Staff are helpful, obliging, courteous and friendly. For some English is not their first language. I said it to begin with and I'll say to finish - this hotel offers exceptional value for money! Lees meer

The hotel was clean, well-kept, and looked recently renovated. The staff was attentive and helpful. Great breakfast and afternoon "light meal" (which could really be dinner, drinks, and dessert if need be). The location is only a 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon street or the river. My only complaint is that I was placed in a smoking room the first night […] when I reserved a nonsmoking room. The staff felt bad and moved to a nonsmoking room the very next night, as well as paid for my parking that first night.
