Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kerrville in Kerrville

Breakfast was way above average.

The problem was seeing the hotel. it is a block off the frederickberg hwy and only a small sign on the highway. we drove by it twice before we saw the sign.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the location near the freeway and the fact that it had a pool and hot tub. Driving from Houston to Van Horn, this was a nice stopping place. However, the hot tub was covered in Mustard Algae and I would not dare get into that thing. I'm shocked they hadn't cleaned it. The pool was also pretty […] cloudy so that was a big disappointment. Ihop is right across the street as well as several gas stations. The hotel is set on a hill surrounded by bigger hills. Beautiful sunrise from the breakfast area.

The only thing I did not like was the Inn pre auth a total of $200.70 out of my bank account. I had no extra charges to the room and already paid the total cost of the room.

Good stay for the money. Be careful you don't pass entrance when exiting I-10. The entry sign is small on the right. Otherwise was a pleasent stay with clean rooms .

During my 3 week holiday in texas i tried different hotels/motels/inns whatever. Holiday Inn was my most expensive stay but the highest quality too.

I am a hotel snob, let me just get that out of the way. I usually only stay in 4-5 star hotels in larger cities. In a small town like Kerrville, there is no such thing. Based on reviews and pictures this looked like the best option. I stayed there for 1 night and everything was just fine. The room was large, clean, and right near the highway (I-10). […] The staff was nice and helpful with my limited needs (late checkout). Could it use some updating? Nice pool and decent breakfast buffet. Met our expectations. Bathtub needed to be reaplaced, it was chipped and moldy. It also had a very disgusting rubber bath mat hanging on the side which we did not want to touch. Helpful and pleasant staff.

Taking my daughter camp, this was a great hotel for this trip. We will be going back at the end of the month and staying there again. I would recommend this hotel to any one staying in the area.

We had a very nice stay at the Holiday Inn, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and the pool was wonderful, a real plus since the temp was 100 most of our stay.

The front desk person was irritated to check me in . never stood up or looked me up. was irritated to change location of room. the entrance door is not automatic, so if you have a bag it is defecult to open door and roll in bags. some with children and bags were having signficat deficulty enterinh hotel. the hoot has the 70s look and feel and bathroom […] towels were below average Lees meer

Nice clean motel with easy access to everything. They need a larger sign on the road to help locate it for out of towners. Enjoyed the hotel and would definately come back.

This was the nicest Holiday Inn Express that I ever stayed in and I travel a lot on business. Facility was clean and room was large and comfortable. The staff was very freindly and courteous. I would recommed this hotel for business or vacation.

We stayed 1 night. This hotel was emaculate, inside and out. The breakfast was more than adequate. The spacious room was clean and comfortable. The grounds and parking area was well groomed and nice. The pool area, which we only looked at, was beautiful with a TEXAS shaped pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is relativly new, 2-3 years old. I think any new buisiness needs 3-5 years to work out all the kinks and train staff appropriately. With that being said, all the staff were nice and curtious. The rooms are roomy and the pool was clean. Some of the other guests did get a little loud at times, but thats not the hotels fault.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Kerville. Very clean and nice place. Rooms were very comfortable. Thanks for a nice stay.

This hotel was extremely clean, quiet, and nice. We were very happy with our stay. We stayed in 3 different hotels on our summer trip, this one being the last and our favorite!

The Hotel was nice. It was a little hard to locate because it is set back from the road and the sign was small. Breakfast was good. The only thing that concerned me was, when a storm rolled through Kerrville and knocked out the power for about 2 hours the emergency lights in about half of the building did not come on. This hotel is in a great location, directly off of I-10 with restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very friendly upon check-in. The room was very clean, and accommodated 5 people well. My children loved that they had a second t.v. with a seperate seating area. The complimentary breakfast was supposed to begin at 6:30, but we went even […] earlier around 6:20, and the food was already available. They had a nice assortment of hot and cold items. We had the suite with the 2 queen beds. The room was very large and had 2 TV's. The staff could not have been nicer. The breakfast buffet was very good, and we were well taken care of during breakfast. The hotel was only 22 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 from Comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great bed, breakfast, and location close to restaurants.

Some of my ratings could have been higher than "5" if offered. I will definitely stay again. The pool was a little cold, probably due to recent rain, but clean. The hot tub was awesome, but could have been a smidge cooler. Breakfast was constantly replenished. Room was beautiful and clean. Thank you to the staff!

The hotel itself is great! Breakfast was excellent. However, one thing has ruined it for me. I paid for my 3 night reservation through hotels.com. When we arrived, they informed me that "the payment had not gone through". Before checking on this, I allowed the clerk to have my credit card and they proceeded to charge an additional $550.00 on my account. […] (bringing the total out of my account to over $1000.00). When I brought it to the manager's attention on the second day, he did correct it with my bank immediately. But he excused it by saying "well of course we have to swipe your card". I understand swiping my card for "incidentals" for $100.00 or so, but that was NOT for incidentals. To make matters worse, now that I have returned home, I find that they have once again charged $308.00 to my account for reasons unknown as of yet, putting my account in the negative, which will create an overdraft charge. I have NEVER had this problem with any other hotel chain. My first experience with Holiday Inn will be my last!!! Lees meer
