My wife and I decided to book a nights stay as we were celebrating a friends birthday in Laguna and didn't want to make the drive back to Huntington Beach after a couple glasses of wine. I had played golf (great little course) here a few times but didn't realize at the time of booking that it was the same property. We checked in around 1pm to get in […] a bit of pool time, the rooms (we stayed in #57) are dated but spacious and the kitchen and living area is nice. Unfortunately, when I plugged in my phone charger next to the bed I could see what appeared to be a year's worth of dust built up on the baseboards behind the bed and nightstand. When I walked out on the patio there was a chaise lounge that was dirty and a chair that was being absorbed into the landscaping with the seat completely torn out. We didn't have time to spend on the patio but it did reflect poorly on the quality of the management. I would visit again to golf but would book elswhere for overnight accomodations. Lees meer

We were concerned about our stay here due to conflicting reviews. We arrived early in the day without plans to check in but to make our presence know and request a nice unit. Sean at the front desk welcomed us and seemed a bit surprised at our concerns and said he would call us when our unit was ready. He did call mid afternoon and we checked into a […] very nice two story unit right on the first fairway. Aliso is old and visibly past its prime but we knew that. Our unit was clean, quiet and spacious. The toilet backed up on it's own once but they addressed that quickly. A short walk to the ocean and a very nice par 3 course. We will almost certainly stay again if we return to Laguna Beach. Made good friends with those 'living' in an adjacent unit who had been there for 6 months and loved it. Try Aliso Creek! Lees meer

It was very nice, the building was a little older and outdated, but was very comfortable and pleasant. A TV in the bedroom would have been a luxury I would have enjoyed, but my husband was quite content to not have one.

Old property but the rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities, (iron, blow dryer, coffee pot, etc). It had a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. I think they used to be condos back in the day. The beach is right across the street. The rates are awesome!

The condo we stayed in needs some updating--as well as the rest of the condo's--but it was quite comfortable. The full kitchen was a plus and the location is beautiful. The grounds were nicely manicured and abundant wildlife to watch. The beach is a easy walk away.

Aliso Creek Inn was well located and quiet. The photos on line were not very realistic. The site and rooms were run down and required a lot of maintenance. Pool was acceptable. Hot tub did not look clean and maintained

This property is hidden back in a canyon just across from Aliso Beach. It is on a 9 hole golf course that is a pleasant walking course-beautiful and very quiet at night. Very close to downtown Laguna Beach & close to Dana Point and San Clemente. The hotel is golf units that was built in the 40's - no garbage disposal or dishwasher but comes with everything […] else. This hotel is a great value, especially for the area and it's location to Laguna Beach. It's pretty dated, but clean. The bed was comfortable, the room is pretty stripped down to basics, but being that I brought my kids, I appreciated the kitchen heated pool and the patio to drink morning coffee in the peaceful canyon.

Its a unique hotel - historic by Orange County standards. It is a secluded retreat buried in a canyon. It would work well for weekly stays as the kitchens are fully equipped. See note below regarding bad cell and WiFi connections.

We did not have to go very far for a wonderful retreat. The accommodations were great: roomy sitting room, separate full kitchen, dining area, and roomy bedrooms. We had our own fenced-in patio and upstairs we had a little balcony. All this in a beautiful secluded canyon that was just a few minutes drive to Laguna Beach and all its attractions. Nice place with everything you need - 9 hole golf course in a beautiful setting not far from the beach. Room had a full kitchen and living room. Hotel staff was wonderful - the problem was that the hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. Heater didn't work, DVD player was broken... very run down. We loved the location and everything! The only problem was the next suite over! During the early hours of the morning (2 3 4) am loud yelling and noise! We stayed at your inn because my high school daughter is a golfer and a surfer. She had a big contest the next morning and barely got any sleep because of noise:(

this was a very charming little place that felt pleasingly isolated, even though it was close to everything. I very much felt like I was staying in rural Oahu with the mountains and the sea so close. Further more, the price was right. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

I love the setting - it is beautiful, just a couple blocks from beach. Hotel soundproofing isn't great, and it could use some updating. But the accommodations are spacious and priced right!

This hotel was perfect. I took my family there. It was andcomfortabe. Te beach is in walking distance yet you have the feeling of camping in the mountains. Then of course there is the beautiful golf course. Over all we had a great time. The only thing I would change is maybe put tv in the bedrooms of the suites. I had to sit through all the kids shows […] because I couldn't just go up stairs and watch something. The pool was great and the hot tub was awesome in its own private area equipped with a cabana with a fridge as well. We will definitely be going there again. Thank you Aliso Creek Inn and expedia. My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to get away to do employee evaluations for our business. This place is right out of the '60's, but well maintained. The room was huge, and very quiet. Full kitchen, covered carport, beautiful setting, good restaurants nearby, and a very affordable rate. I gave it a 5 for the value.

This is a large condo type hotel nestled in the mountains, a beautiful location. It is on the older side, the heating system was VERY loud and it had a musty smell. Both of these concerns could easily be fixed. Amenities are minimal, but the value could not be beat considering the location, full kitchen and very large living area.

My only complaint was that the extra blanket needed to be washed and the TV remote needed new batteries. The staff is always excellent! The rooms are old and dark but the convenience overrides the room condition. The price is right and it's located in a great little canyon of Laguna Beach. Have an open mind and enjoy!

It was worth the money. We got a really good price. The two bedroom units are big for a hotel. It was very hot and no airconditioner. The staff wasn't very friendly.
