Ligging van het hotel is zeer goed te noemen 10 min. lopen naar het centrum. Er was ook aanbod van tour naar beziningswaardigheden en met name Niagra Falls ! ik zou aanraden om op eigen gelegenheid naar de Niagra Falls te gaan en twee dagen daar door te brengen want het is zeer de moeite waard. Heel belangrijk om zeker bij Sheraton te gaan lunchen want vanuit het balkon van de Sheraton kan je mooie foto's maken.

Erg goede service en vriendelijk personeel. Schoonmaak prima. Kamers moeten worden gerenoveerd; sterk verouderd (wij hadden blijkbaar een niet gerenoveerde kamer). Ook de receptie/ontvangst behoeft een face lift evenals sauna en zwembad. Ontbijt erg sober. Samengevat: voor de prijs een goed hotel. Wij gaan zeker terug.

Ligging.
SoHo Metropolitan Hotel & Residences is een gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in het hart van Toronto. dit hotel ligt op loopafstand van Canadian Broadcasting Centre, Theater Prins van Wales en Koninklijk Alexandratheater. In de buurt vind je ook HTO Park en Toronto Music Garden.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
SoHo Metropolitan Hotel & Residences heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een binnenzwembad. In openbare ruimtes is tegen betaling een snelle internetverbinding beschikbaar. Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een technische helpdesk. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 2 restaurants plus een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een cateringdienst voor evenementen, zakelijke diensten en een limousine- of autoservice regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spabad, een fitnesscentrum en een turks stoombad. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

SoHo Metropolitan Hotel & Residences heeft 92 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een cd-speler en een (laptop)kluis. Alle bedden hebben Italiaanse Frette-lakens en premium beddengoed. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke 42-inch plasmatelevisie heeft kanalen via kabel/satelliet, een dvd-speler en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer heeft een aparte badkuip en douche met een handdouche, badjassen, designer toiletartikelen en make-up/scheerspiegels.
Elke kamer heeft een minibar, een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en gratis mineraalwater. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een föhn en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een magnetron, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en hypoallergeen beddengoed. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is. Op de kamers van SoHo Metropolitan Hotel & Residences mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Very nice hotel"
The SOHO is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that my friend and I both had problems with the thermostats in our rooms. The temperatures would adjust up and down randomly during the night. It was very strange! Other than that, it was a great stay.

"Little bit of street noise"
The hotel is only five floors tall so the crashing of the truck emptying the dumpster in the morning was heard. Great hotel for service and amenities.

We stayed two nights and loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms, great service and a nice pool area. The location is fantastic - close to many great restaurants and the theatre district, and we had a nice walk to the Eaton centre and back. Had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite (at a small, discounted rate), and enjoyed the larger room. Attention to detail was fantastic, and would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is very service oriented, from the friendly efficient front desk staff to the concierge who remotely opens the front door for you. Our room was spacious, very clean and had en extremely comfortable bed. This hotel is within walking distance of major entertainment venues and great restaurants. Perfect for a birthday romantic getaway!

This hotel defines luxury. Everything you need is on site! From the iron to the q-tips. The bed is extremely comfortable, the linens were crisp and clean. Everything was to perfection.

I spend most of my weekends in Toronto, and I've stayed at every hotel from They royal york, to the Hilton , to the Cosmopolitan. But , the Soho Metropolitan is a step above them all. The hotel was fabulous! It was 2 blocks from Roger Centre, which is where we were headed to see a baseball game. Perfect location. I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions recently (11 nights, and then another 3 nights), and on both stays the rooms and service were first-rate. I might just make this the default go-to hotel for my business trips to Toronto in the future. If budget allows, always go for the upgraded room. It's well worth it.

Wonderful accomodations. Modern, trendy hotel with a professional, extremly courteous and helpful staff. Centrally located to see Toronto. I would stay here again on my next visit! Oh..the lounge in the evening was very nice. The bar tender was very nice and the people were very friendly.

Very nice, if somewhat corporate boutique, in an up and coming Toronto neighborhood. Rooms are very large an appointed very nicely but avoid the second floor as the pool is located on that floor and the chlorine smell permeates. In addition, the second floor rooms face a very busy intersection and the traffic noise is very loud in the morning (and traffic […] cops work the corner with blaring whistles beginning around six a.m.). This is a lovely hotel with a great downtown location. The attention and friendliness of the reception staff and the peerless concierge was the best we had encountered anywhere in our trip to Canada. Loved the heated bathroom floor ( even in June!).
