Very convenient to Universal. However, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and windows could not be opened.

it was very clean - bed very comfy - breakfast was ok - couldhave been a little better like some others - had to go down two floors for ice - clerk very nice and helpful - no outside food real close - overall we 5 would stay there again - maybe next year

Very close to Universal Studios. Rates are quite reasonable, rooms are clean, comfortable and come with a small 'fridge and microwave. Washers and dryers are available on each floor. This place had a great location....BUT no heated pool, no hot water for showers/baths, rooms were ok but had a odor. Breakfast was good but very busy...they offered a free shuttle to universal but it departed an hour after the parks opened so we ended up driving and paying for parking instead. We very much enjoyed our stay at Baymont. It was extremely close to Universal Studios. Our first morning, there was no hot water in our room, but we told the front desk on our way out & it was repaired by the time we returned back to the hotel. Excellent location, great shuttle service, courteous staff. The room was clean and kept to the minute. It seemed like the room attendant was there as soon as we left the room refreshing everything that needed attention. The office people downstairs went above and beyond trying to help with great advice, cab arrangements and other inquiries. My stay here was excellent. The Shuttle to Universal was on time and the driver was too courteous to ask the people waiting in bus depot whether they are waiting for his one. The breakfast was good and the maid was keep on refilling each and every item. Room was clean, in charge manager was so courteous. The hotel overall was ok. The room was not very clean. We were across the street from Universal and very close to the interstate. The breakfast was the norm, waffles, ceral, fruit, and toast. Not sure I would stay here if I had small children due to the uncleaniness of the room.

We stayed there because we couldn't check in to our timeshare for one more night. Not too terrible. Breakfast was included and the beds were fine. It was just down the road from Universal Studios. The pool was out of commission.

Hotel was in good location. Breakfast was nice more than continental. Room was smelly and linens were not clean with stains. Room did not have working light bulbs.

Pool was out of commission and the wifi was spotty at best. The walls are paper thin - think twice if you want your kids to hear the neighbours making love next door! Our 2nd day at Universal Studios was wet and rainy (obviously not the hotel's fault) but the shuttle back to the hotel was 1/2 an hour late. Not a good day for that to happen. Close to Universal parks, but at the same time just enough away from the busy street, so it's quiet. Great service, very nice front desk clerk, clean rooms. We had a small refrigerator and microwave (cause we like 2 am snacks), for early birds they serve a breakfast in the hall. The pool was clean. We were very happy with our stay. For the price and location...the hotel was great. Not the most luxiourous and clean, but free breakfast was good and it was very close to Universal is right across the street and it took 20 minutes to walk. The hotel did offer a shuttle bus to the park when it opened and then returns when it closes. Overall I would stay there again.

The hotel room was everything one might ask for, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Although backing up to I-4, the setting was pleasant, relatively quiet, easy to access, and good parking. The up keep on this hotel is less than desirable. You can tell they are trying but it is obvious they like to cut corners and do things halfway. My son was carrying bags to the room when he hit the hallway wall with on of the bags and the fake cherryeood paneling fell off! The beds were comfortable but again instead of giving you a full comforter set […] the just cut them in 4ths to make the end of the bed look like its folded down. The old saying you get what you pay for runs true here. The continental breakfast is cereal and 1 waffle maker...which needs to be replaced too I burnt my waffle twice since the indicator never went off. Very average hotel. I was disappointed it took me nearly 10 minutes to check in (even after booking online) then after I received my room keys it took me an additional 2 trips back down to get the keys to work. Room temperature was hot even after setting the air at 69 degrees. Overall, not bad.

Staff was amazing. It was very celan room. The tv wasnt working when we got there but it was fixed as soon as we let the staff know about it. The convinience of being so close to themes parks was awesome. The price was great! I would stay there again.

In overall the hotel is OK but regarding the air conditionings in each room they have set to work automatically and turno off every 8 minutes and we can't sleep well with the interruptions.
