De familiekamer is heel ruim opgezet, fijn! Ook het ontbijt is uitgebreid en heerlijk. Bovendien heeft het hotel een centrale ligging, het is daarmee een prima uitvalsbasis om Oslo te verkennen.

we booked the "small" double room & stayed at the Best Western for 2 nights. the room was really small but quite comfortable and had all you need for a city trip - nice & clean bathroom, small but comfy bed & breakfast included. the location is perfect, heart of the city. enjoyed it a lot.

Location was perfect - all sights are in walking distance. Airport bus stops in front of the hotel. Staff at the reception desk was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lot of information available in the lobby, and moreover internet was free. The room and bathroom were adequately equipped, however, the bed was far from comfortable. In addition, no variety to satisfy the eating habits of international guests - for the duration of the stay, every morning the same menu. But, the coffee was absolutely wonderful. we werden vriendelijk ontvangen toen we aankwamen. De kamer zag er netjes uit en elke dag werden de handoeken en washandjes vervangen. Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum, dus ben je snel op de plaats bestemming. af en toe was het wat warm op de kamer, maar dat is dan ook het enige minpuntje.

The hotel is well located in Oslo, the breakfast restaurant is ok, I had some issues with the warm water, but that's usually temporary.

As a first time visitor to Oslo then I had no prior knowledge or guidance locally as to where to stay. There are a lot of hotels in the vicinity and so picked on what seemed fair value for money (Oslo being relatively expensive a city it seems). I was only there for one night and on business and so the hotel did not strike me as having much in the way […] of communal or leisure facilities. The breakfast room seemed to double as a restaurant but can't comment on what was on offer further as I was eating out for dinner on my night there and at work at lunch period. Breakfast was included in my rate and excellent. Location is about 10 mins walk from central station (on express train from airport) and a few minutes from the National theatre (which also has a train link to the airport). It is close to the harbourside which has lots of bars and restaurants. Would use this again. Lees meer

Centrally located, just moments from the Parliament building and the Grand Cafe. Spacious, well-maintained rooms and helpful staff. Very good value (especially for Oslo!). Kaffistova - the restaurant attached - is good for cheap, Norwegian food, and is where you have breakfast. I'd definitely stay again.

Convenient to the tourist information building, central train station and certain museums in the city. There is a grocery store close by, coffee shop and bars/restaurants. The only complaint I had was that there was construction going on at the time of my stay and tasted that the juices were watered down at breakfast. Combined a business trip with a family leisure trip and stayed at this hotel in both capacities. The central location is perfect and the hotel is of a good standard for the price. Definitely recommended.

This is a nice clean hotel in a fantastic location! It is located right in the heart of Oslo, Norway - just a block off the main drag that leads to the Castle. Includes a very nice breakfast buffet - which does make a difference considering the price of restaurants in Oslo.

A weekend in winter-Oslo, partying with friends. The cold weather was affecting the indoor temperature, chilly near window. Central heating was not working in the room. I found a seperate electric heater in the cupboard, plugged it - and could maintain OK temperature.

Convenient restaurant on the ground floor but surrounded by alternatives. Clean room and hotel but the small double was very compact. I chose small double to avoid the normal 'single compact' room but they simply put two beds in the 'single compact'. Reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

Initially we had a very small room for 2 adults and 2 children but then we asked hotel management and we were moved to a much bigger room at no extra cost that was very comfortable.The location was great - walking distance to National Gallery, Palace, parliament, fort/ castle, port area, City Hall where nobel peace prizes are awarded (beautiful decorations […] and art work. I've stayed in Oslo a number of times for business before but wanted to keep costs down as there were two of us travelling and we were visiting multiple locations. The hotel is central, was clean and had a reasonable breakfast (not as good as more expensive hotels bit mote than adequate). My only gripe was that the single beds in my room were quite […] narrow and slid apart very easily, meaning I woke up a few times almost having fallen through the gap. Fantastic location, just a short walk from the train station and Royal Palace. Friendly staff. Breakfast every morning was AMAZING! Constantly refilling everything, even towards the end of the breakfast hours. Nice hotel conveniently positioned next to Karl Johan making airport transfer and tube travel easy. Good breakfast and tasty Norwegian food in Kaffistova. Recommended!

Great location only a minute walk away from main street, museums and shopping! Only a 15 minute walk to main train station or to the bay to take ferries to different locations. Lovely comfy double bed. Good breakfasts. Really really central; could walk everywhere! The 'small double bed room' as requested was small but really comfy and clean. We were very happy with this hotel! We couldn't have asked for a more central hotel and it was so clean, comfortable, and included an excellent breakfast. We look forward to staying there again when we are back in Oslo next week. It is also nice that the airport bus stops right outside the hotel.

Helpful Staff, quick check in, a spacious (for Europe) room. The building was not particularly "quaint," but it did the trick. My only warning, this was a bit farther from the Museums and Philharmonic Hall than I thought. Be prepared for a walk.

firstly the internet didn't work so we were moved to another room, but the heating didn't work in the second room !Rooms clean and comfortable but TV very complicated if you wanted to watch a movie.

Excellent location. Small for a family room but ok. Very disappointing breakfast which was a surprise after reading other reviews. Not much choice. No gluten free cereal despite stating gluten free when booking. Had to request bread then wait 15 mins for it. Layout very poor. Bacon rock hard & very salty. Generally very poor.

During our September trip, my Wife, 2 kids (Girl 14 and Boy 10) stayed in Best Western Hotell Bondeheimen for 2 days then returned for 1 night after having Norway in a nuttshell tour. We booked a Family room which was clean, large and convenient, Bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was good. This hotel is very well located in the middle of the city […] and you are at walking distance from most attractions around. When arriving at the Airport, you can reach the Hotel with the Bus shuttle that will drop you just at Hotel entrance. I can't say enough how impressed I was with this hotel. But perhaps the most amazing thing was at the end of my stay. I realized I had forgotten my Sony camera charger back in the room and I was already at the airport. I called the front desk and they offered to mail it to me FOR FREE. We had promotion offer for the period we stayed and made this hotel the least expensive amnong all hotels we stayed in Norway. Very good value for maney. Excellent breakfast with great variety of food choice. Excellent wifi reception in room as each room has its own router.
