Jolly Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive in Bolans

I read many review about this resort before booking, many of them were negative, but my husband and I found the resort to be great for a 4-day get-away. The front desk was very slow at check-in but the rest of the staff made up for that. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous from restaurant staff to bartenders to maid service. It was a bit disappointing that the fruit on the morning buffet was not the freshest, but it still tasted good. Overall the place is great, rooms are small but with a nice balcony. The outside common areas need to be updated or a little better maintained. Food was great but the drinks seemed to be a little watered down. Stick with the beer or champagne. The staff was very nice. It was a good value.

I had a queen superior room.... very large, but very dated; bathroom floor tiles have cracks; fixtures rusty; countertop formica stained. Towels small and hard and each day you have to call to get them ALL replaced. Housekeeping was very bad in responding to need for towels or clogged pipes etc... Food is okay... very island fare. Buffet and bars very […] budget with small plastic cups, stained and rusted salt and pepper shakers; certain food dishes running out. Beach chairs are old and plastic, self-serve . Staff is very lackadasical. This hotel is good if you are on a budget and expect no luxuries whatsoever.... it is a huge property where you walk far to get to everything and everything is basic and clean....nothing else..... reminds me of old motel in terms of services and conveniences... only good thing is a fabulous beachfront, and large pools Lees meer

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Especially the Water Sports staff as they helped us secure a little dinghy (that we rented from the Harbour) every night with cheerfulness! We recently stayed at the Jolly Beach resort and had a great time. The room (granted, on the smaller side) was quite comfortable and had an ocean view. The pools had good atmosphere and the beach was gorgeous (along with having great sunsets). Great selection of dining options. All options had great food and service. The Italian and Indian restaurants were delightful. Grounds had fabulous plantings and trees. Overlooked the Caribbean Sea. White sand beaches against a turquoise sea. Spacious resort and privacy was present.

Calm and quiet place, clientelle of middle age. Animation respecfull of all kind of people. Sport equipment all in funcion, great ! Excursions very interesting canopy tour with kayak and snorkeling, helicopter and catamaran. Island highly develop, Resort everywhere. Not the better place for snorkeling ! Eat well and too much !!

Our stay at the hotel was unbelieveable! it was actually more than we expected. Great service and a welcoming environment, which gives you that comfort you need!

We stayed at the Jolly Beach Resort over the past weekend on our first trip to Antigua. Our room was small, but clean and very comfortable for the two of us. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. There were plenty of activities planned each day so you can do as much as you want or just hang back and relax. Old hotel. Lazy staff. Bad food. You will not get what you pay for, but on the island you have to be willing to spend as mutch as 500-1000 $ a night for a nice hotel, with european 4-5* standard.

The food was fairly good as were the drinks. The bar staff was great. The whole problem with the hotel was the lack of Internet availability. If you have to conduct any type of business while there, this not the place for you. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the a/c was either full on or off. Best ever experience - All inclusive the way to go. Ideal if you want to relax - beautiful water colour - friendly staff - good food. We used the Hotel.com special offer and it was worth every cent. We did not travel mcuh on Antigua known for its many wonderful beaches because Jolly Beach was enough.

Just returned and was impressed with the beauty of the beach and the holtel grounds.After visiting many Islands this beach is right up there. Having two pools did help. Most familes hung at the larger pool where the snack bar and beverage bar are located. I found the small pool to be more relaxed and cooler due to it's depth. bra, trevlig personal. det var ett väldigt brett sortiment av mat. drinkarna var sådär, och ölen var nog förmodligen lite utspädd men annars var det helt okej. stranden var riktigt bra som låg anslutande till resorten. hotellet får 4 stjärnor av fem!

Rommet var en skuffelse, men området, beachen var fantastisk, Servicen var også bra. Vi hadde noen fantastiske turer på øya, oppholdet var meget bra vedrørende all/inclusive. god mat og flotte restauranter. hilsen Hans og Mette

Väldigt litet rum men vi tog Supersaver så det var antagligen därför. Resorten är stor precis vid en fin och stor strand. Nära Jolly Harbour med lite restauranger. Maten var sådär. Poolen var stor och solstolar fanns både vid poolområdet och på stranden. Helt okej resort men inte så mycket mer.

Maden er mindre god og hele situationen omkring spisningen er dårligt

C'est un site magnifique cependant des rénovations sont nécessaires au niveau de certaines infrastructures. Des efforts ont néanmoins été constatés sur place. Le personnel est agréable et toujours à disposition. La nourriture est excellente et variée (plusieurs restaurants à dispo), des activités proposées. C'est un site sécurisé.

Au premier abord l'hôtel paraît immense et un peu vieillot mais on s'habitue très vite. Il mériterait une rénovation. Le fonctionnement des restaurants est un peu compliqué, il faut s'inscrire et pour le restaurant italien il faut une tenue habillée (avec chaussures fermées pour les hommes... on ne doit pas voir leurs orteils!) Hôtel un peu vieillot, service pas très dynamique (chambre pas faite à l'arrivée, ménage parfois fait seulement en début de soirée dans la chambre....) Points forts: les buffets, copieux et variés, et la superbe plage de sable blanc devant l'hôtel.

Sehr gutes Preis- / Leistungsverhälnis in dieser Jahreszeit, zumal Hotel nur zu etwa 1/3 belegt. Essen abwechslungsreich, speziell in den beiden separaten Restaurants (Anmeldung vorab erforderlich) zu empfehlen. Im wesentlichen freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Gebäude sind zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, werden aber ständig renoviert. Insgesamt sauber. […] Riesiger weisser, seicht abfallender Sandstrand, auch für Kinder zu empfehlen. Ausreichend Schattenplätze. Unsitte, die Liegen in der Frühe bereits zu belegen, trifft nicht nur auf "Deutsche" zu, da nur weinig deutsche Gäste! Resort ben organizzato. Avevamo letto della scortesia del personale...mah, a noi è sembrato il contrario! Tutti molto premurosi. Addirittura noi abbiamo comprato le aragoste al porto e lo chef del Resort ce le ha cucinate. Ricevimento molto professionale (funge anche da Ufficio-Cambi) e ci hanno dato anche una camera di cortesia il giorno della partenza, […] cosa che difficilmente abbiamo trovato in altri Resort del Caraibi. Unica nota dolente è l'animazione: spettacoli mediocri e fino alle 11:00! Noi eravamo un gruppo di 14 ragazzi e ci aspettavamo serate un pò più movimentate. Per il cibo non vi preoccupate, non morirete di certo di fame. L'acqua del mare è sempre torbida, ma compensano l'immensa spiaggia ed il verdeggiante ambiente circostante. In definitiva andateci...e non ve ne pentirete. In ultimo andate a Barbuda, con 150 dollari vi faranno mangiare anche l'aragosta, piuttosto che il giro dell'isola in catamarano, nulla di eccezionale e a 100 dollari si mangia il solito pollo e riso!! Bien situé avec une immense plage de sable blanc, deux grandes piscines dans l'hotel pour se prélasser Une animation chaque soir, on y mange trés bien,les cocktails sont variés et appréciables. De plus notre reservation "all including" nous a permis de bénéficier d'un tarif trés intéressant. Nous sommes entièrement satisfaits si ce n'est que nous étions […] contents au retour de retrouver notre lit car même si on a dormi dans un "king size" les ressorts c'est moins bien Quant au service c'est un peu froid mais on s'y est vite habitués : nous vivons aux antilles depuis seize ans.Mais peu importe, ça ne nous a pas empêcher de bien profiter de nos vacances,on y retournera c'est l'endroit idéal pour décompresser et se reposer dans endroit idyllique avec ces cocotiers d'une hauteur impressionnante pour résumer :magnifique le cadre Bref, on vous le recommande .. Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen flachabfallenden weissen Sandstrand. Das Meer ist da traumhaft! Leider wurden wir im alten Teil vom Hotel untergebracht; das Zimmer war zwar nicht schlecht aber halt eher weit vom Hauptrestaurant.
