Wij hebben samen met onze zoon op een familiekamer geslapen. Deze was netjes, schoon, goed onderhouden. Het hotel ligt wel wat verder van pisatoren vandaan maar de afstand ernaar toe is goed te lopen en je krijgt daardoor ook gelijk wat van pisacentrum mee! Personeel van het hotel heel erg vriendelijk en ontbijt was goed verzorgd.

Prima hotel. Bedden hard maar kamer en badkamer schoon. Nadeel is wel is dat het vlakbij het ziekenhuis ligt en als je het raam 's nachts open hebt veel last van ambulances met sirenes. Als je het raam dicht hebt, is het probleem opgelost. Er komen veel bussen in de buurt.

Net hotel, vriendelijk personeel met een verzorgd ontbijt. Prijs/kwaliteit zeker goed. Ivm mijn dwarslaesie van te voren geinformeerd of dit of dit hotel een rolstoelvriendelijke badkamer had. Ik was aangenaam verrast. Over het algemeen wordt een badkamer en of hotel al rolstoelvriendelijk genoemd als de deurbreedte voldoende is of als er geen drempels aanwezig zijn, maar dit hotel had er ook rekening mee gehouden dat een persoon die niet kan staan en lopen zich ook graag wil douchen. Complimenten. Verder koelkastje aanwezig dus alles ok.

Aardige Italiaanse oudere man die de B&B runt, spreekt goed Engels (vooral voor een Italiaan). Wel veel geluidsoverlast, zowel van de straat als van andere bewoners (het is heel gehorig, je kunt de sleutel een paar deuren verder op in het slot horen gaan). Oordopjes meenemen dus. Verder goede service, goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en goede locatie.
Ligging.
Hotel Relais Dell Orologio ligt in het centrum van Pisa, op loopafstand van Kerk van San Sisto, Scheve toren van Pisa en Piazza dei Cavalieri. In de buurt liggen ook Museo dell'Opera del Duomo en Kathedraal van Pisa.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in luxe stijl biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met 5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een limousine- of autoservice. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spabad, een wasserij en een tuin. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt.

Hotel Relais Dell Orologio heeft 25 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via satelliet. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn. Elke badkamer is voorzien van badjassen, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere gratis mineraalwater en een plafondventilator. Op de kamers van Hotel Relais Dell Orologio mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

Vele kerken, bruggen en kwijnende 'palazzi' sieren deze oude havenstad, maar de bezoekers hebben slechts oog voor één gebouw. De beroemde Torre Pendente (scheve toren) van Pisa schijnt de natuurkundige wetten uit te dagen, die Galileo heeft getest met gewichten die hij van toren liet vallen. Zelfs zonder de recent gestabiliseerde scheve stand zou deze marmeren klokkentoren een wonder van architectuur zijn. Twee sierlijke kansels vormen de hoogtepunten van de naburige Duomo en de doopkapel.

Airco deed het niet goed, gelijk aangegeven en zou met druk op de knop geregeld zijn. S avonds nog steeds 26 graden. Met receptie gebeld, zou geregeld worden. Na half uur nog maar eens gebeld, en daarna nog maar eens! Kwam er eindelijk iemand om half 1 s nachts!! En vertelde dat het geregeld was, mooi niet dus. Geen andere kamer gekregen, heel slecht […] geslapen, en na klagen bij uitchecken zelfs geen excuus, en wel betaald voor een 5 sterren prijs per nacht! Hotel heel centraal gelegen ,op 500 meter van de toren. Echter heel kleine kamers. Service heel goed.

can't be beaten on location, just two minutes from the leaning tower. Rooms would feel a lot bigger if they had selected better furniture. Labelled as a small luxuy hotel of the world, wouldn't have categorised it as that. temperature in rooms veers towards the stuffy. A/C in rooms doesn't work properly. Reception not that helpful. "Gracious and well-located"
This is a beautifully renovated, very old building. Many of the rooms are quite small, but they are well-equipped, if a bit faded. The location - five minutes walk from the Campo de Miracoli - can't be beat, and the staff is first rate.

Very well maintained hotel with a lovely outdoor patio on one of the little canals. We ate breakfast every morning a few feet from the water watching gondolas drift by. Absolutely memorable.

You simply can not beat the location of this hotel! The front desk was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant staff was attentive, professional and friendly and the food was very good too. Not sure if it should have a 5 star rating based on comparing it to the other 5 star hotels in Venice , Florence and Rome I stayed in but if you go expecting 4 stars […] you will be very pleased, The room we were in was very small, but we did book a lower category because we just were sleeping there and not planning to hang out in our room. "Relaìs dell orologio"
The location of the hotel is perfect- literally a 5minute walk from the Piazza di Miracoli and only a 10-15min cab ride from the airport (€10). It is a beautiful traditional hotel, with only 21 rooms so the service is excellent. My room was very clean and beautifully decorated, although it was very small. As the hotel is a converted house, the rooms […] are all of different shapes and sizes. Presumably some of the other double bedrooms are much larger. I didn't eat an evening meal there, but I wasn't very impressed with their breakfast selection. Mind you, most European hotels provide pretty unimpressive breakfasts. "Limited Internet Access"
The hotel was fine except for limited internet access. The night I stayed I had urgent business to conduct but was unable to do so because of a very slow connection. The hotel has a router on every floor but even sitting a few feet away in the lobby on the first floor only boosted the speed a little bit. Bad ISP. Think mid-1990s dial up speed. "Relais de l'Orologio in Pisa, Italy - very central"
This is a small, luxury hotel and, though the rooms are not large, they are very comfortably furnished. Everybody who goes to Pisa goes to look at the Leaning Tower and it is about 200 meters from this hotel. Once you learn your way about, you will discover that no part of this city is too far to go to on foot!

This small, boutique hotel is really charming with an exceptional level of service. The rooms are small given the nature of he old tower house in which it is located but the decor and ambience are elegant, luxurious and very attractive. "Close to sights. Romantic hotel"
Couldn't recommebd more highly. Really made my short stay in Pisa great. It was lovely to enjoy the jacuzzi for free in the lovely hotel garden. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel in quiet neighbourhood. Service is excellent and the room, though small, was comfortable and clean. There is a lovely garden terrace at the rear of the hotel where you can have meals and drinks when the weather is clement. Also It is close to all the must-see sights. We would highly recommend it to others.

hotel room small but clean, staff friendly and helpful, location brill. This hotel is classed as a 5 star, and where is was a lovely hotel i think it as more in common with a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was lovely to have in the garden but was basic.
On checking into the Hotel we were informed that the air conditioning was not working but they hoped that it would be fixed by early evening which it was. Unfortunately it appeared to have a mind of its own which required us to phone reception to have it switched off which meant we could not have the facility when we needed it. "A wonderfull oasis in Pisa"
Very good service and lovely old house where no rooms looked alike. The place had a calm and relaxing atmosphere, the garden was beautifull and the bustle of the cathedral square (200 meters away) was completely gone. The breakfast was good.

The greeting & staff were exelent & professional. The atmosphere and style of the hotel is warm. 12th century building carefully modernised. We only spent one night in the "romantic room", which was a bit small. It could do without the chairs/table. The only grime was the air condition. "Hotel Relais Dell Orologio - superb service"
The hotel is close to the major sights in Pisa, the atmosphere is intimate and the service of the staff was superb. I highly recommend it to others visiting Pisa looking for a hotel with old school charm, location and service that was above and beyond my expectations.

Har bodd her et par ganger nå. Gammelt hotell, men langt fra slitt. Små rom, men det gjør ingenting, jeg liker at alle rommene er forskjellig innredet. Hyggelig betjening og god frokost. Sentralt plassert rett ved tårnet. Gratis trådløst internett er et stort pluss. God pris off-season.

Hotellet ligger i et hyggelig og stille område, like ved Det skjeve tårnet. Veldig hyggelig betjening, utmerket komfort, sjarmerende bygning og interiør, samt en aldeles utsøkt frokost. Anbefales!
